The crystal case is a hard, plastic shell, which fits over the outside of your iPad® 2 to protect it from the nicks, scratches, and abrasions that can occur with normal daily use. This hard plastic case snaps into place and can absorb the punishment that would otherwise cause cracks or breaks in your iPad's casing. Cutouts in the case allow access to the controls and connectors, as well as the camera lens. Although the case covers the 3G antenna area, it will not interfere with 3G reception.
Note that this case only fits the iPad 2. It will not fit the original iPad or the new iPad (aka iPad 3).
