The black silicone case is a soft, form-fitting skin, which fits over the back, sides, top, and bottom of the iPad® 2, New iPad (aka iPad 3), or iPad With Retina Display (aka iPad 4) to provide all-around impact protection. Made of thin silicone material, the case has cutouts for the connectors and camera lens.
