Needed Improvement
|
Pros: Bumber has nice feel to it. Control buttons are spot on and very responsive, better than any other I have encountered.
Cons: Clear back is lacking, it scratches easily and quickly which takes away from it's aesthetics.
Make the back from the same material as the bumber and place a hole for the Apple logo to show through and in my opinion you'd have the perfect case.
Offer some other colors that men would like, ie: black, charcoal grey, navy blue, camo, desert camo.

GREAT case for the price!
|
Pros: - Adds almost no bulk to the iPhone
- Bumpers on sides are stiff enough to not mess with a screen protector and have a nice grippy texture while still allowing the phone to be slipped into a pocket easily
- Size of the case is small enough that I can use any dock without having to remove it
- Plenty of button feel on the covered volume controls
Cons: - The ONLY con I can think of is that it only comes in black!
The pros and cons say it all... this is a fantastic case!

iPhone case

Pros: I love this case! I just bought a second, it works so well. I like the poly back, the thin profile, the rubber feel and the cool look. The low cost encourages me to replace it a couple times a year to keep it fresh.
Cons: The rubber frame fits around the front and covers a bit of the screen. Because of this, the glass cover had to be trimmed a few millimeters all the way around to keep it from lifting.
Great product, would recommend to others.

Works Great
|
Pros: Tight Fit
Nice large opening at the bottom for chargers
Covers most of the ports, like the volume rockers and the power button at top.
Cons: Back gets scratched and has the monoprice logo
This case is a great deal and can easily replace those 20 dollar cases. It's tough and I prob will use it for the lift of my 4S.

Pros: Low profile protection

Molded well to cover the volume and power buttons

This is exactly what I was looking for. The bumper around the phone is not too bulky, yet provides good protection for the occasional drop. What I love most about this case, is that it has a clear plastic back for even more protection. Leaving the original Apple logo visible. All of the cutouts for the ports and camera are perfect. Was worried I would not be able to use this case with the docking station I also got from monoprice, but it fits perfectly on it. Add a screen protector along with this case and your phone is well protected from the every day dings and scratches. Highly recommend this case.

Best case for the money out there

Pros: Very solid and tight fitting. Easy to slide in and out of your pocket.
Cons: The phone is a little hard to remove from the case if you want to take it out.
Slim and very solid fitting on the phone. The phone really snaps in there nicely. It gives it a good look that's not overly obvious that you have a case on the phone which I really like. The buttons are very solid feeling and there's absolutely no wobble that other cases have. The rubber on the sides feels good but it's not so grippy that you can't slip the phone into your pocket. All of the ports are very easy to access. This case is almost impossible to beat for under 2 dollars.

iPhone 4S Case
|
Pros: The rubber bumper is grippy, and makes it hard to drop the phone. There is also a clear back to the case to still display the apple logo.
Cons: None that I can tell.
This is one of the best cases I have used for my iPhone 4S. The price is under $2 which baffles me, but is worth every cent. The silence switch, 30 pin connector for charging, and the headphone input are easily accessible.

What a wicked case!
|
Pros: Ordered this case alongside 4 others from Monoprice and its my favorite, can't beat the price either.
I like that its snug, but not too snug, the back is clear, the siding is awesome, and the buttons work SO WELL, unlike many other regulsr cases.
Cons: None!

Pros: solid, mat finish that helps keep the phone in your hand, big bottom cut out for any charger to lock in.
Cons: clear back scratches easily, but hey - it's in the back anyway.
Also - my screen protector peeled off from the very snug fit.
I highly recommend as one of the best iphone 4s holders/protectors

Problematic
|
Encountered the problem of the lip of the case gradually peeling out the edge of the screen protective cover mentioned by others. Discontinued using it and replaced it with the 8660 that works much better.

Buy this not otterbox
|
Pros: I have compared this directly with an otter box commuter series. They are almost identical. This case is sturdy and everything you would ever want. Solid in drop test of 6 ft to tile floor. iPhone was perfectly fine.
Cons: The only reason I took one point away is that the mono price iPhone/iPod/iPad cables will NOT fit into this case. I was disapointed at this oversight. I use the 10ft model to charge my phone and now I cannot. A normal slimmer cable fits just fine.
It's a buy buy buy! A no brainier. If it lasts a month it would be more than worth the money you spent. Quit being a tight ass and buy 12 and still save over an otterbox. Hopefully they come out with some reds and other colors for this amazing case!

Black iPhone 4/4S Bumper with Clear Polycarbonate Case
|
Pros: Great price and provides good IPhone protection.
Cons: Doesn't fit as snug as I would like for one of the cases - this might be attributed to the manufacturing process as the other two work fine.
I bought three of these to help protect our IPhone investment. So far they are providing the protection needed to minimize damage. They look pretty good and function as advertised. Outside of form fitting issues with one of the three cases (and even that one is not too bad), this is a very good product for the price and look.

Griffin Reveal knock off, but it is better quality.

Pros: Sides made of Stiff TPU, Perfect Fit, nice slim design.

The case is much like the "Griffin Reveal" found at retail stores. It has a TPU surround (almost like a bumper) and then the back is a clear polycarbonate, or clear plastic. I searched all over for a nice, slim fitting case, and this case is by far the best one I could find. It fits snug, the buttons are responsive, you can still see the back of the phone if you like the design, and its good quality. Alot of the cheap TPU cases have fitment issues, or its hard to get the phone to sit right in the case, but this case fits perfectly. It's nice and snug, so the sides don't flop around and let dirt in. The black version looks great on both a black or white iphone. The funniest part about the case is that it is a knock off version of a more expensive brand case. I happen to also have that more expensive case and the monoprice version actually fits and looks better. If you have been searching for a case that protects the phone, fits well, and doesn't change the overall design of the iphone much then this is it.

Best iPhone case out there

Pros: Compact, Durable, Allows for use in many cradle chargers

This case is great. It provides excellent protection without being bulky. I can pocket my phone without it taking up my whole pocket, and I can still use all of my cradle chargers without interference.
Plus, it's from MonoPrice, so it was dirt cheap. Anyone who buys cases (or cables or *insert anything monoprice sells*) at places like Best Buy need their head examined. Monoprice simply crushes the competition, and their products so far have all been excellent!

Awesome case...

I finally got an iphone after all these years and needed a good case. After seeing the cases in the stores like target, best buy and those mall kiosks, I decided that I wasn't going to pay 15-25 dollars for a piece of rubber. I checked ebay and still pretty expensive. Decided to come across Monoprice as usual for great stuff at cheap prices. This case is a perfect fit for the iphone. The molded bumpers are pretty durable, but not much grip on them. It could have better shock resistance. The clear back is awesome when new, but scratches easily. You almost need to put a screen protector on that. Otherwise, its the perfect case by far if you're looking for a clean tight slim case unlike the otterboxes. I bought 3 of these. Awesome deal.

First off, why ever pay the price asked from major retailers for a case when you have mono price? This case is great. Solid build, solid design and 2 bucks...can't go wrong. If you need a case for your iPhone 4/4s...this is it!

Purchased (4) cases, this one was best looking, but 3rd in shock protection

Cons: Dust between phone and housing looks bad
Minimal shock / drop protection
Very little protection for screen.
I ordered (4) cases at the same time from Monoprice. The 8660, 8662, 8557, and 8049. Without a doubt, the 8660 "Premium Tread Pattern Silicone Case", offered the best overall protection for your phone. And after all, that's why you have a case in the first place isn't it?
8662 "Black iPhone 4/4S Bumper with Clear Polycarbonate Case": Nice looking, see the phone through it, will easily show dust inside between the phone and clear back. Clear back will scratch easily (it scratched while I was cleaning it with a microfiber cloth) and will probably look bad in short order. Ok side protection, virtually no screen protection. 3rd choice for offering actual phone protection. But new, on the phone, before any usage, very very nice looking.
The other cases in short:
The 8660 case has a tire tread pattern on the back, to help it not slide off places, and a nice thick silicone rubber body to absorb shocks. And what really makes this one different from the others, it raises an edge around the phone, to offer some protection for the screen. The other cases don't do this, and leave the screen almost completely exposed. It's just squishy enough to offer good shock protection, and stay where you put it, and just rigid enough so it feels like you are holding the phone and not some kind of gel surface. In short, when I write this, the case is $1.56, and you will find NOTHING on the market that offers better protection, and versatility for less money. It even looks kind of "design sexy" in an industrial, sort of way.
8557 "Slim Genuine Leather Case for iPhone 4/4S - Black" Most discreet. Very thin, you won't really even notice it. Very thin leather over the back and side surfaces. Virtually no screen protection. The top left corner is very thin, and would seem prone to breakage, and I have concern that the leather might peel away from the plastic back over time. But, it does offer some drop protection, and is the least obvious, and most "business" or "professional" looking. But 4th choice (out of the 4) for offering any actual shock / drop protection.
8049 "TPU Case for iPhone 4/4S - Clear" For protection, this case is my 2nd choice. Not as thick, or as shock absorbent as the 8660, but, would be a good 2nd choice. Very little to no screen protection. Honestly, I'm a guy, and the case looked a little too feminine for my tastes. So if you really don't like the styling of the 8660, this is the next best choice from my evaluations. But, it won't be nearly as effective as the 8660.

UPDATE: 8862 Became my favorite and 1st choice. After using them for a longer time, I went back to the 8862 polycarbonate case, and gave it a longer-term try. I liked the appearance more as it is almost invisible on the phone, but still offers some protection. So far after several months, I've noticed no more additional scratches, so it must have been something from manufacturing on mine. Will it offer the genuine drop protection that the 8860 (which is now my second choice)? No way. But, it's still has done a good job for me, and looks really good.

My favorite of the bunch
|
Pros: Snug fit, but easy to put on. All the edge buttons are covered but have raised bumps and are easy to press. Opening for the silent switch is placed perfectly for ATT version of 4S. Edge bumper has a nice texture and is easy to grip. Rounded edges are easy on the palms. Phone will stand on edge or bottom on a flat surface. Front lip covers the sides of a screen protector but did not cause lifting in my case. Feels very solid and should offer better than average drop protection while not being too bulky.
Cons: I found the clear polycarbonate back to be too smooth and slick. Too easy to slide off a pants leg or upholstered chair arm. My fix was to apply strips of black cloth hockey tape to the back surface. Offers a nice non-slip grip but still easy to get in and out of a pocket. If the tape gets worn, I'll peel it off and apply some fresh. I wasn't concerned about seeing the logos on the back of the phone, and since the black color matches, it just looks like a normal part of the case.
Any color you like, as long as it's black.
My favorite case so far, after trying all the current monoprice offerings and a few others by name-brands. Hopefully, it will be offered in other colors in the future. Monoprice rocks!

This is a nice looking case that protects the iPhone well. It looks great on a black iPhone. The only issue is that the clear plastic on the back scratches easily. After a while I switched to another case, simply because I didn't like the way it looked scratched up.

Nice case
|
Pros: Lightweight, full protection, easy to grip on to.
Like the clear back.
Cons: Only complaint is the word MONOPRICE on the back. Otherwise - love the case.
Worth getting.

Great Iphone 4 Case, Kind of Fits Iphone 4S
|
Pros: Fits very snugly, edges of the case extend over the front of the phone, offering some protection from a front-facing drop if it hits flat ground. VERY small form factor, which I love.
Cons: I have an ATT Iphone 4S. This is does not fit perfectly, my Silence toggle just BARELY fits inside the hole cut into the case. The volume Up/Down buttons line up just fine, and the top button and earphone jack line up as well. Certainly not enough for me to go buy another case, and I'll keep using this one, just know it doesn't fit perfectly.
A great case for the Iphone. I have the 4S, and its a little off as stated above, but otherwise a great case. The edges of my screen protector get peeled up from time to time by the case, but this doesn't bother me too much. It would be better if the interface between the front of the phone and the case was more rounded, but hard to complain for 2 dollars.

Pros: Great quality
Snug
great protection
awesome price
Cons: so snug that if you use it with a screen protector, it will catch the edges at times and cause the screen protector to start lifting. (if the edges were slightly longer over the screen cover this would not be an issue.)
great case all around

Perfect case
|
Pros: Pefect fit, Grip, signal, protection, look
Cons: None
This is exactly what I dreamed of. Just got an iPhone 4 not long ago and looked through some cases but found none I really liked. I thought it would be great to have a bumper with a back protection. So I looked on monoprice and what do you know here it is. Got it in two days. Goes on easily but fits absolutely perfectly. It gets rid of whatever signal loss happens with the death grip while providing a good feel on the bumper keeping the phone from sliding out your hand. This is the perfect case for an iPhone. Especially if you want to show off the beautiful back of the phone but still protect it. Also, I have a sprint iPhone 4 and it fits.

Amazing Case
|
Pros: Perfect Fit
Snug
Easy to remove but phone stays in it
Protects phone perfectly
Cons: None
I have never wrote a review on here but this case is so great, I had to write about it. It is perfect. I have the Verizon iPhone 4S and it fits great. I recommend this to everyone who wants an inexpensive case.

I still love this case. I would make one change if I could, the clear back causes the flash to mess with the picture. I would make the hole around the camera and flash black or white depending on the color of the case. This would prevent the flash from reflecting off the clear case.

best iphone 4/4S case for your money!

Pros: Slim, good-looking, very inexpensive, light, perfect fit for both iphone 4 and 4s, good grip to avoid accidental drops
Cons: the edges on the front part of the case around the touchscreen peeled the 'cheaper' screen protectors but when i bought a more quality screen protector, the case didn't peel the screen protector at all
I bought two iphone 4S cases on amazon and one here at monoprice and i ended up returning both of them at amazon and keeping this one. The other two cases were more expensive and they had numerous flaws that the Monoprice 'Black iPhone 4 Bumper with Clear Polycarbonate Case' didn't have: A good looking case that protects your phone without having small holes that cables can't fit into. $2 for this case on Monoprice vs. $15, $20, even $30 for cases elsewhere. How can you beat that??

Pros: Best Case for an iphone.
Cons: The edges of the case need to extend another 1-2mm so it doesn't catch on my screen protector.
I'm a BIG fan of monoprice and have ordered just about every case they make for the Iphone 4 and this is by far my favorite case. The one draw back though (monoprice take note) is the edges don't quit come over far enough so at times it peels up my screen saver. Keep up the great work monoprice!

The best iPhone 4 case on Monoprice
|
Pros: Sleek, durable, clear back shows off the back of the iPhone while protecting it
Cons: The edges of the case have a tendency to lift the edges of the screen protector
This is by far the best iPhone 4 case available on Monoprice! I've purchase the rubber based cases along with the air case and would pick this one over the others hands down. It's durable, priced right, and shows off the iPhone while protecting it. If you're buying a couple cases to try them out toss this one in your cart, or grab the white one if you prefer.

Fits like a glove
|
Pros: Solid feel, very accurate measurements so it fits like a champ.
Cons: Its plastic, so don't drop it too hard.
Nice case, fits very well, looks sharp. I especially like that it has a slight overlap on the front face. So if you have a screen protector (also bought here at Monoprice) it helps to cover the edges so the protector doesn't come off.
