Cable eliminator
Pros: One cable for all game systems is great

Cons: Having to manually switch the cables in and out as it is recommended not to have all systems plugged in at the same time.

Having one convenient cable for all systems that I currently have (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PS2 is great. Nowadays there's just too many wires for all kinds of electronic devices that connect to a TV. So having this product helps streamline and elmininate that problem. I would definitely recommend having this type of cable if you own multiple systems and are tired of having a mess of wires. The only issue I have with the cable is that it recommends not having all systems plugged in at once which requires manually switching out the cable to the system you would like to use. Other than that minor inconvenience this product is a good solution if you can find it at a good price ($15 or under).

Works well, few flaws...
Pros: Build quality is nice
Keeps wires cleaned up behind TV

Cons: Plugs that go into the consoles are pretty short.

Works pretty well with Xbox 360 and PS3. I had a issue with my PS3 that drove me crazy until I found a review stating the same problem as me.

The problem I was having was there was no sound with my PS3 while the cable was plugged into both my PS3 and Xbox 360. Also with my PS3 on and the Xbox 360 plugged in but not on it dimmed the screen of my TV until I unplugged it from my Xbox.

Great Cables!
Pros: Reasonable length, great picture quality.

Cons: Cable a bit stiff.

A great cable, solved my component connection problems. All you do is plug it into the console of choice and then you are set with much better picture quality than your standard composite cable. I love this!

Super janky, don't bother.
Pros: Nice white color

Cons: I only tried the Wii adapter, but it didn't fit snugly into the port on the Wii and would come loose every few minutes, messing up the image and requiring reseating.

This cable is overly fancy, and ends up being a total failure.

Great cable for the PS2!
Pros: Good thick sturdy cables, works with all my game systems!

Cons: Comes in white...all my cables are black. =/ and wish it had original Xbox support.

I mainly bought this cable for my PS2, i got bored and dug it out only to realize the original ps2 cable i had was broken, so i order this cable in hopes to replace it to play me some Onimusha! When i had booted on the ps2 i had gotten a black screen, but i figured out how to fix that and all is great!

PS2 people, if you boot up and get no picture:

turn it on, with no games inside

wait like 10 seconds - 20 seconds

push [down] [x] (this brings you to system settings)

[down] [down] [down] [x] (this brings you to component video selection)

push [right] (then push [x])

This will switch it over to component for you! =) and enjoy!!

Great all-in-1 cable
Pros: Consolidated multiple cables.

Cons: none yet

I have connected this cable to an XBOX 360 and Wii and it works great on both. It's nice having a single cable to simplify the wires behind the TV.

Pros: Works as advertised. Made connecting my XBOX 360 and Wii very easy. Used with 3027, 4 Port Component Video Switch w/ IR Learning to an older plasma display. Even worked with my Logitech Harmony remote.

Cons: None

Would recommend to anyone. With this great price, you can buy one for all you TVs and make gaming console moving quick and easy.

Good Game System Cable for Wii & 360 !
Pros: Supports most game systems with this single cable and provides a high-quality video-audio connection to today's HDTV's.

I purchased this cable (PID 5638) as a permanent connection for my new 70" 3D HDTV so kids could connect their Wii & Xbox occasionally to the TV as we mounted the TV so close to the wall with a low-profile mount, that it does not allow us to plug-unplug cables. Using five right-angled (90 degree) RCA adapters (PID 7233) that I spot-soldered to this cable, along with Mono-price's Velcro-Wire-wraps (PID 5809), allow us to grab the cable and pull it down when in use, and put it back under the TV quickly and easily when not in use. This cable combination is virtually impossible to come unplugged accidentally.

Reduces Clutter Wish the Connectors Didn't Interfere w/ea. other
Pros: Does what it says on the tin
Product warns in advance that multiple consoles can't be plugged in at once.
Can be plugged into multiple consoles if you can completely remove the ones you're not using from wall power.

Cons: Would be much better at clutter-reducing if plugging into multiple consoles didn't cause interference.
Having to swap plugs is annoying if you frequently use different consoles

Bought this to help out my friends who had 3 consoles and a mess of spaghetti behind their TV that their cats were always trying to chew. Got rid of the spaghetti, but their setup isn't ideal either for going around the back of the TV or unplugging consoles, so I had to use it for their Wii&PS2 and use a separate cable for their Xbox360. This would be ideal if plugging it into multiple consoles didn't cause the audio to drop out (in my case). I'm not talking about turning all of them on at once that would be crazy, but it doesn't seem unreasonable to have a cable that can ignore signal from a powered-off but plugged-in console.

Flawless
Pros: Works with my systems flawlessly. I can hook all three of my game systems in no problem and leave them plugged in. No switching each time I want to use a different game console. The low price makes it an even sweeter deal.

Cons: a might bit to short, but re-organizing the entertainment system setup fixed that.

I give it the highest rating. Plug and play.

Pros: Feels much more expensive than it was. Works great on the Wii.

Cons: None so far.

Full disclosure: I have only had the chance to test this cable on a Wii.

It functions just fine- it's a component cable. Picture is as sharp and clear as you'd expect, considering I was using it for a Wii. It feels quite sturdy, honestly more sturdy than the first party cables. I get the feeling it's going to last me a good long time. Oh, and Xbox 360 owners? It has a switch for SD and HD now, so the other reviewers who had trouble must have had an older version of the cable.

I feel like I must have ripped someone off somewhere, considering the comparable cable I saw in a brick-and-mortar store was $27 and didn't support PS2. 12 bucks including shipping, and I got it on Monday after ordering on Friday.

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do. At 1080p (if your TV supports 1080p over component, not all do) it looks almost as good as HDMI when used with PS3 or Xbox360. At 480p, it looks as good as the Wii is ever going to look.

Cons: The cords are a little thick and stiff. And while it's not an issue for me, some people might not like the white color of the cords.

Like most Monoprice products, it's as high quality and low priced as any other cable of the same type you're likely to find.

Product is decent
Pros: Seems to work well for the Wii when tried from two different TVs. Detected the signal well.

Cons: Had issue with Ps3 using an older TV. TV could not detect signal consistently when switching input. Worked ok on a newer TV. TV.

Product seems ok. Didn't work exactly the way I would have wanted but the problem could have been due to several different factors.

Hello Trce,

Thank you for your review. In regards to your item, have you tried tinkering with the settings on your old TV to see if it would show? And have you tried another device to make sure you do not have a defective port on the older TV? Please let me know, thank you!

I got it to work for the Ps3, but seems to require too much tinkering to get it working. It's not a simple task to get my hands on another ps3 to test with. Cable works well with the wii. Don't have an Xbox to try that part.

Pros: The price and the convinience of this product are great. I hooked this up to my Xbox and Wii at the same time. Now I only have to use one set of connections on my TV.

Cons: The sound on the Wii doesn't work when the Xbox is plugged in.

Component Video for Wii/PS2, what more do you want?
Pros: Gives better video quality for Wii and PS2 than the standard connection.

Cons: Little on the short side, but I think there's a longer cable, so that's more my fault than anything.

Definitely worth it if you have a wii/ps2 that you still play on an HD-quality TV.

Great cable at a great price.
Pros: Sturdy construction
Provides excellent picture quality even on just a SD tv over the typical composite connection.
Easy installation, no problems being able to tell the differences between the audio red and the component red signal cables as some users have mentioned. (they are in order for starters, and they are marked differently)

Cons: The only complaint I have about this product is the lack of cable color choices. I personally do not mind the white cable, however I can see how this would be an issue for some buyers.

I was very impressed with the quality of the cable, its very thick and heavy shielded which helps when being used in a jungle of electronics to ensure no loss of quality.

I have seen alot of users complain that you cannot hookup more then 1 unit at a time despite this being a multi unit cable. Well I would like to debunk that slightly... You can hook this cable up to all your units at once. However you will lose sound if more than 1 unit is powered on (or has power to it even if off). My solution to this was to create a switch system that allows me to allow power to only 1 console at a time. The system only allows 1 switch to be pressed down at a time therefore ensuring that only 1 unit receives power. (much like a tv signal switcher box)

While my tv (a 50 inch crt rear projection) only does SD and does not support ED or HD, I noticed a huge difference in the quality and clarity of the picture. The cable itself was very easy to hookup and install.

I have also seen complaints about there not being any switcher for the SD/HD on the xbox360 plug, now perhaps this has changed recently however mine did have the switch.

Overall I would have to say that this cable is more then excellent in quality for its price tag. I will definitely recommend this cable to friends and family that are looking for one.

Cons: Slight ghosting at 1080p on XBox 360

I'm absolutely thrilled with Monoprice again! I knocked off 1 point because my XBox 360 running at 1080p had some ghosting on my TV. Switching the XBox to 1080i cleared it up. The Wii looks great too. I don't have a PS3 to test with, but I'm sure that would be great too!

Nice qality, works perfectly.
Pros: it's cheap
it works
it feels more sturdy than the 480i connector supplied with the Wii

Cons: none

We finally got a Wii for our 4yo this xmas. I was insulted by the $30 most retailers want for the "HD" cable. I found a really cheap version from many resellers on Amazon, but was scared off by several accounts of faulty cables. I finally remembered to check Monoprice, and ofc they offer a high quality cable for any of the 3 consoles at a reasonable price.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to find a cable for my falter-in-law's sub-woofer. Pretty sure MP can beat the $50 Best Buy wanted.

Pros: Works great, cable length is ok for my set-up.

Cons: No complain

Took some time to figure-out how to enable the port on the PS3 but once we found the process, it went flawlessly. (Power switch must be pressed more than 3 seconds to activate the multi-ports instead of the HDMI. )

Video works well, audio cuts out
Pros: Works great to reduce the cabling for my Wii and PS2

Cons: The audio and video are run together
Audio cuts out on one channel from time to time

The cable is working well for Wii and Playstation 2 video, but the Wii audio cuts out from time to time which is annoying. It would be nice if the video was run on a separate line than the audio since I run the component video to the TV, but audio to a receiver. I had to get another cable to run from this cable to the TV, or else I would have to run Wii audio through the TV speakers.

Useful but didn't work as a switching cable for me
Pros: * Successfully connects PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 to Composite display at 1080p
* Has three connectors in one cable, helping reduce cable clutter
* High quality cable with shielding

Cons: * Did not allow all three console to be plugged in and operate correctly at the same time

The cable works mostly as I'd imagined, but not as well as I'd hoped. When more than one console was plugged in, something wouldn't work correctly. The picture would be fine for one, but dim for another. The sound would work in one, but not the third. If you're fine with just manually plugging in the cable to one console at a time, it does a good job for very little money. It also saves you the hassle of buying multiple cables and having the cabling rat's nest behind the consoles. But it doesn't seem to do what I'd hoped: allow me to plug in all three consoles and switch the output to the one console that is actively powered on.

Great Product, Great Price
Pros: Works with multiple systems.
Sturdy construction.
Sufficient length.
Excellent resolution.

Cons: White.
Only one system can be connected at a time.

First off, why white? Honestly a very poor choice in color when most other cables are black. For me, the color isn't an issue at allI have all the wiring hidden behind my television cabinet anyway, so it could be blaze orange and I wouldn't care, personally.

The construction is good. This is a very thick, sturdy cable (about 1/2" diameter). The connections all look to be very solidly attached. I see this cable lasting for many years. The length is more than sufficient for my setup, and it is probably a sufficient length for more than 95% of setups out there.

I currently have this cable hooked up to my PS3, and I'm running at full 1080plooks amazing as compared to the resolution with the out-of-the-box cable. I haven't noticed anything odd or off about the pictureno artifacts, no distortion... everything looks great.

Finally, the great thing about this cable is that it supports multiple systems. Personally, I only have a PS3, but my brother will occasionally bring his XBox 360 over. This cable saves us the hassle of having to swap out cables on the back of the TV (unfortunately, only one HDMI port that's being used by the cable box). Just unplug the PS3 and plug in the XBox. This, of course, is the only other down-side to this cable. While you can use it with multiple systems, you can only have one system plugged in at a time. It's not really too big of a deal, but can be a pain depending on your particular setup. The good news is, though, that you'll only need to swap the cable on the console end. I can't dock any points off, though, because it's clearly printed in the item description that it only works with one system at a timeso if you buy it expecting anything else, it's really your own fault.

So, in summary, this is a good cable if you only have a Component connection available, and/or if you have or use multiple consoles. Having to limit yourself to one console connected at a time can be a slight inconvenience, but really isn't too bad when you consider how long it will take you to disconnect this cable from one system and connect it to another. Color could be a real issue for some people, but if you can hide it or don't mind the color, go for it!

Pros: Works fine with PS2

Cons: doesn't pick up audio from first gen Wii

I hooked this up to my PS2 and Wii and the picture is great but the audio feed from the Wii does not work. At first I thought it was a faulty cable but I purchased another and it had the same issue. - it could be my Wii but it works fine with the original Nintendo cable.

John,

Sorry I have been away on vacation. I just got back and tried the replacement cable you sent and found it had the same issue. When I was setting it up I was able to identify the root cause of the problem as my PS2 and not the Wii. When I only have the Wii hooked up it works fine, but as soon as I connect the PS2 the audio goes out on the Wii. If the power is disconnected from the PS2 it also works fine. Knowing this I can work around the issue and will keep the ones I purchased. - I gave the second one to a friend to trouble shoot on her system.

I received the RMA form and will be sending back the cable you just sent me.

Excellent Value, Reduces Clutter
Pros: + reduces clutter (3-in-one)
+ good price (as do other Monoprice cables)

Cons: - wish there was HDMI connector to TV
- length between game console cables is quite short
- documentation

Works as designed. I wish I knew about this cable before.

awesome deal
Pros: Works exactly as advertised. Unbeatable price, great look, quality sheath.

Cons: Cable is quite stiff, and the white color kind of sticks out.

Great product, have already recommended it to many people.

Not worthy of a purchase
Pros: *None

Cons: *2 separate cables failed to work

Hi everyone. I ordered this cable primarily to connect my aging PS2 to my HDTV in order to provide a visual upgrade over the hideous picture delivered via composite. The first cable arrived swiftly and appeared sturdy. However, upon connecting the PS2 to my HDTV, no signal was transmitted. I tried connecting to a separate component input... and had no luck. I then connected the cable to my PS3 (which I didn't buy the cable for - I use HDMI for it) and the cable wouldn't transmit a signal with that console either. I contacted Monoprice, and they swiftly agreed to replace the cable. The replacement arrived today, and it doesn't work at all either! :( I repeated all of the same steps from above, and had no luck at all. Now, in case some of you are thinking that this must be a case of user-error, let me assure you that I know my cabling and have numerous HDMI devices, component devices, old-school composite devices, etc. connected to my tv and all work fantastically. I know as well not to connect more than one device at a time with this particular cable, and have not done so. It just does not work. Because I've already used an RMA for this purchase, it appears that Monoprice will not process a refund request on this dysfunctional replacement, leaving me with two useless cables. Thankfully, the cable was relatively inexpensive, but it's still money that I paid for a faulty product. I love Monoprice, and have never had a single issue with this company prior to now. Indeed, I've ordered numerous cables and have never experienced problems with any of them. However, be aware that this cable may not be worth the hassle.

Pros: Four in one! It beats separate cords from each consoles. Nicely design. Hope it's black, but it's all good! Easiness to use. It is done less than a minute.

Cons: So far, no cons.

It really come in handy! Very easy to use. I do not need all four separate from game console (Xbox, PS2/3, and Wii). I connected them in, and all I have to turn one console on and enjoy! I thank for that!

Great cable, great price!
Pros: Great price!

Cons: None that are affecting my use.

This cable works great, not much to say about it. Definitely a step-up in quality from the standard composite video cable that comes with the Wii. Haven't had a chance to try the PS through this thing, but I can't imagine I wouldn't see the same step up in quality from composite to component.

Useful cable at super price!
Pros: Excellent Build Quality.
Works flaslessly with my Wii and my XBox.

Cons: Might be short for some Home Theater setups. But was excellent for me.

If you need component (and not composite) output for your consoles, this cable might be the cheap solution for you!
It have the specific connectors for XBOX and Wii. I didn't tried with my PS2 yet. But I'm sure there's no problem there.

Wii video/audio cable
Pros: High quality.

Cons: None

It's a high quality cable that greatly improves the video quality over the cable supplied by Wii.

Very useful
Pros: Very useful for reducing the wire clutter

Cons: trident of the three different connectors for the systems requires the systems to be right on top of each other if you want all of them connected at once. It's doable but you should know that in advance

good value and useful equipment for setting up multiple gaming systems located in the same space especially if they are competing for a limited number component inputs on a TV/Receiver. I would buy this again.

Great Cable
Pros: Excellemt Cable kit, I love it, the image quality is great. I just bought two more for my friends.

Cons: The only inconvenient with this cable is that you can't keep all console connectors plugged-in at the same time because it causes some feedback interference.

However, if you only connect one console at a time with this cable, everything works perfectly.

Works like a charm
Pros: Works perfectly with my Wii.

Cons: only has analog (red & white) audio connector usable with Wii.
A little bulky, but not bad for "4 in 1" options.

This cable does exactly what it is supposed to do for my Wii. I haven't tried it with either of the other consoles. I bought an inexpensive (less than $50) analog to digital (fiber optic) converter to use with it an now have full high quality digital surround along with very good HD projection on a 100" screen. Highly recommend this cable, but you just need to know that you still need to deal with analog vs digital sound output.

Pros: Reasonably priced all in one video game connector cable. Handy

Cons: Firstly, the cable is white, which I am not personally fond of but I still think its a fair criticism as in spite of the Wii and the XBox360 being white (until recent models) nobody has a big screen white tv.

My big criticism is that when the plug heads are connected to both the 360 and the Wii the Wii volume drops substantially. I'm not sure if this is a problem that can actually be fixed though given design constraints.

Overall though, a reasonably priced way to attach a Wii via component cable and if you're short on inputs, great for hooking up all your consoles.

A Great Product That's Perfect For Gamers
Pros: Cable works great.
Cable is very sturdy.
Xbox 360 cable comes with the TV and HDTV switcher.

Cons: N/A

For the gamer with multiple consoles set up on the same TV, this is the perfect product! My TV only has on set of component ports, so this solves the problem of having to switch cables when going back and forth between the 360 and PS3 consoles. You can only have one console plugged in at a time, so it would be helpful to have the consoles easily accessible. I am very satisfied with this product, and it has yet to fail me!

Fantastic Cable
Awesome cable. 3 in 1, who can beat that. Also Mono Price has the LOWEST price that I've seen for this. My PS2 looks great, my WII (HIYO!) looks awesome too, we stream movies and shows over NetFlix and it looks clear and sharp through my cables. I dont have an x Box but I'm sure it would be awesome too.

Works great!!!
I got this cable to hook up a Nintendo Wii to my Dell 2209wa which supports Y, Pr, Pb. I hooked this cable to product ID 6025 using a coupler product ID 3002 and connected that cable to my monitor and it works great. I've also used the cable with my Sony Bravia it works great with that as well, no problems so far. (remember you Monitor needs to support Y, Pr, Pb in order to use product ID 6025, it won't convert it for you).

Cool, but needs improvement.
Being able to connect 3 consoles through one cable is great, but it loses cool-points for poor audio.

Audio from the Wii sounds sort of distorted/weak, and for some reason plugging in the 360 (even while off) reduces the Wii's audio by like 70%.

If nothing else, it's a half-decent half-priced component cable for my Wii, so I guess that's nice.

Hello,

Thank you for your review. It is not recommended to connect multiple systems in one cable. Only one console should be connected for the cable to function properly. If more than one consoles are connected, even if it is set to "off" loss of audio or video may occure, but there will not be any damages done to the console. I would suggest to get obtain seperate cables for each console for best results. Thank you.

Great Cable for a Great Price
This cable works as stated. It has a sturdy construction and seems like it will last for a long time especially with the well shielded and shrouded main core.

Good for video bad for audio
5 out of 10 - great for video, bad for cutting down on the quantity of cables used.
Heed the warning, you will lose audio if more than one device is plugged in. $7 is still cheap for a replacement cable but if your looking to cut down the amount of cables you are using get something better quality. I would return it but I don't want to pay for shipping and need a PS3 cable anyway. I was just hoping to save space.

Somewhat Disappointing
I purchased this cable in order to simultaneously hookup my xbox 360 and wii to the same component inputs, since my tv (Samsung UN55B800) only has one set. Much to my surprise both consoles cannot be hooked up simultaneously, otherwise, you lose sound. In order to have sound I must unplug the cable from one of the consoles, which defeats the whole purpose for which I bought the cable in the first place - to not have to unhook cables.

Great value from Monoprice again!
The cable is solidly constructed and works fine with my PS3. I bought this to downgrade from HDMI (not enough ports). PS3 owners take note, you need to keep the HDMI plugged in until you install this cable to change the video settings.

Once I adjusted the settings on my TV (720p Sony Grand Wega), the results were great.

I knocked off a point for two nit-picky reasons: 1. The glowing white cable can be harder to hide than traditional black, and 2. The connectors for PS2/3 and Wii were not labled, but a quick visual check should confirm which one to use.

Mine did have the HiDef XBox 360 switch, but I don't use XBox. And I bought a Wii Component cable seperatly (thanks again Mono) a while back, so I have not tried plugging this into multiple machines at once.

Updated cable?
The cable seems to have been updated since some of these reviews were written. There is now a switch between "TV" and "HDTV" on the 360 plug. Also the red audio plug is now solid red, while the red video plug has red only near the tip of the plug to allow you to distinguish between the two.

Those updates aside, the cable functions for what I've used it for. I do not have a 360 to test the switch.

Works, but not HD
I hooked it up to my 360 and the highest resolution this cable will output is 480p. This is because there is no "HDTV" switch like all other 360 component cables have.

XBOX 360 Cable
Got it fast (even during Christmas), good quality at a MONPRICE value. Telling everyone about you! Did find out that the XBOX does not have an HD cable with separate audio outs...which means this cable is the only fix for the cheap crap XBOX ships with.

Disappointed in Monoprice
What a disappointment! I bought this cable mid-November to set up my kids' consoles with on Christmas. To my suprise, I was unable to display HD through our Xbox 360. I went to Monoprice to see what the deal was and on this cable there is now a notice that says it does not support HD on the 360. That message was NOT listed when I purchased this cable in November. I would not have purchased this cable had that message been there previously.

I would return this cable, but at only $6 it's not worth the shipping or the hassle. Monoprice.com continues to be a tremendous value and I will continue to business with them but I do want to voice my frustration with them.

For Wii & PS2, works great
The cable does what it said it would do. I have no qualms other than the fact that you can't have them both plugged in at the same time. I gave it an 8 out of 10 because I thought it would make my PS2 look better and because there is no distinction between the red video and red audio plug....very annoying.

I have tested this Component Cable on Wii and it works great.

Unfortunately it has a serious problem when connected to XBox 360, that is, it can't be used to display in 720i/p or 1080i/p.

There is a message saying, "HDTV output is disabled. Your XBox 360 Component HD AV Cable is currently set to TV". And there is an icon asking you to move the "missing switch" on the Component Cable. Of course there is no such switch on the cable at all. If you force the Xbox 360 to display in 720i/p or 1080i/p, there will be no signals for a few seconds, then it automatically changes back to 480 p.

I don't have PS 2/3 so I don't know how it works on PS 2/3.

Doesn't output HD with an XBOX360
Cables are apparently good quality, but they do NOT support HD video when connected to the XBOX 360. My unit kept telling me that "HDoutput is disabled because the AV cable attached to unit was set to "TV"" On the OEM Xbox cable, there is a switch on the cable that you can move from TV to HD, thus allowing up to 1080i viewing. This cable doen't have any such switch, so I was stuck with a crappy image. I'll be returning this cable.

Does not work properly with the Xbox 360.
This cable works fine for Wii and PS2/3 systems, but will not allow HD display on Xbox 360 consoles. The cable is missing the TV/HDTV switch that needs to be flipped in order to allow HD display through the cable. Otherwise the product is fine.

No HD (480i only) on XBOX 360
Does not allow HD (480p, 720p, 1080i, or 1080p) via the cable because there is no switch to set it to HDTV mode.
