Ok for the price
|
Pros: Cheap Handy Lightweight
Cons: Battery life
The battery life is way shorter than regular ones. I also suspect tha tthe battery drains itself when not in use... I usuallyt like 2 hours from a full charge. Anyway for 3$, I wasn't expecting more!

Not worth it...
|
Pros: It charges via USB. Cheap.
Cons: The charge doesn't last very long. Short product life, quick to depreciate.
I had the Nyko charge station that worked well but the metal slowly corroded over time from moisture transferred from the hands. "If only I could plug these things in instead of placing them on some charger then the connectors wouldn't be in danger of contamination," I thought. This little deal seemed like the perfect match but I was about to be sorely disappointed. The Nyko batteries I had lasted hours but these puppies maybe hit 2 but usually only stayed charged about 30 minutes. I thought that maybe if they were completely drained and recharged that that might fix it so I fussed with them for a few weeks and eventually gave up and bought some rechargeable Duracell batteries. These were a little inconvenient but they worked perfectly compared to this worthless item. I tried two of them and got the same results. One of them even had trouble charging because of the shoddy craftsmanship of the charge port. Whatever, I eventually threw them out because I didn't play with them soon enough to make use of the return policy.
by Monoprice Administrator Hello Dax,
My apologies for the dissatisfaction and trouble you had with the Wii battery packs. I know you have already discarded the product but if you ever are unsatisfied with an item or it is faulty we will issue a refund within 30 days and majority of the time make exceptions if you are outside of that. Again my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Sincerely

One issue only
|
Pros: Perfect fit. Looks like the original in all respects, but...
Cons: This does NOT charge in a standard cordless recharger for the Wii.
If you intend to use this battery in the 2 or 4 controller recharging stations, it will not work. ONLY a USB charge.

Pros: None
Cons: Connecting slow is very loose
I rate this product 7 out of 10 battery works great but it never shows when the battery has been fully charge. The connecting slot is very loose and you have to play around with it in order for it to stay in place. (I purchase 3 of them and it has the same problem on all of them)

I ordered these for my nephew and he's been using them for about a month now. No problems at all. I would order more if these go bad.

Best battery for Wii
|
Pros: Cheap and can buy one at a time. Can charge without taking out the Silicone Skin.
Cons: None so far.
This one is better than other one that comes with charger which has problem with contact point. It does not come with charger but can use any USB port. I bought monoprice wii Silicone Skin and made small hole and charge through it so the skin can stay while charging.

Perfect for wireless Game Cube controllers like the WaveBird!
|
If you have a wireless Game Cube controller that has a similar battery pack like the Wiimote. This will work. Like the WaveBird does.
Just plug it in a USB port to charge & your good to go!

Does not last long
|
Batteries worked great when I first used them. After using them for 3 times, they show a full charge, but run out after 15 minutes of gameplay. The can charge for 24 hours, show full, I unplug it to play and they die much too soon. It is a shame the RMA process is too difficult. Other stores would simply send a replacement without having me paying shipping to send back this product because they are so cheap. Guess not. I bought two of them, both are now useless.

Not bad
|
Works fine, but seems to not want to hold a full charge. Ive charged it over night for over 12 hours and the battery life meter still shows up as half full. Honestly its not that big of a problem because i can always charge it after use, but it would be nice to not have to worry about it going out on me during use.
