Awesome product (but too long)
|
Pros: * Comes with every hole and screw you can imagine. * Unbreakable!
Cons: * Too long for less than 15' ceilings. * I'd pay $5 extra for a better finish.
This mount is solid metal - it's as heavy as a 37" LCD I bought it for! Specs say it's -5 to 15 degrees, but it goes to about 30 - a big plus. It's quite long, so I had to ditch the top tube and figure out how to hang it by the bottom tube. Overall, awesome deal!

Had to reduce the mast length to only 5". With the added time to do the fabrication work, it was still the best price of any other ceiling bracket.

I was surprised at how heavy the bracket was considering I bought it for 29.99. It worked well and is holding up a 32" Sony LCD in my parents kitchen. In the future I am going to look for something like it for my 42" Toshiba.

Product name wrong, picture & description right
|
I knew from a chat session that this was a back-to-back flat panel tv mount and not a projector mount as described and that was what I was looking for so I gambled for the $26 and I hit the jackpot. You could beat back an elephant with this thing. The only gripe I have is the set screws sticking out of the sleeve connector pipe. I may get a custom length pipe with threads on both ends to make a cleaner install but the bracket itself is top notch for $100 much less under $30.
