Flat Screen Mount
|
Pros: Versatile. Light weight.
Cons: Only comes with proper anchor screws for concrete mounting, or directly into a stud. This limits your mounting capabilities.
Very cost effective mount for smaller flat screen tv wall mounting. Unless your stud is centered in the room, you have no options for placement on a wall that is not masonry. YOu will need to buy some special dry wall anchors to mount in a place of your choosing.

Great little wall mount for the price
|
Pros: Easy to install, Sturdy build, and holds up the monitor in position. Comes with hardware needed.
Cons: Side to side swivel needs a bit of extra tightening to hold in place.
This wall mount is easy to install, has a small but sturdy profile, and holds up the monitor in position.
Comes with the screws for fit the back on the monitor. Overall, great for the price, I would recomend this to anyone looking for a small wall mount.

Pros: Works as advertised. Very easy to install. Holds our 19" TV well.
It was easy to install and came with all hardware. I mounted with all 3 lagbolts into a single stud and it holds our 19" TV well.

Okay Mount

Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Sticks out further from wall than expected
I wish I'd realized how far the TV stuck out from the wall with this mount, too much for the kitchen wall where this is mounted. Also, when positioned as close to the wall as possible, the top of the mount is visible. This could be unique to where the vesa screws on my TV, but unacceptable for appearance purposes. Most frustrating is that there was only the top nob to tighten one of the two bolts that hold the display plate to the wall mount. I couldn't see from any of the diagrams or pictures to see if there was supposed to be a nut for the bottom bolt. So, there is no way to tighten and make sturdy the side to side motion of the mount. This mount was just a waste of time and money for me.

Monitor Wall Bracket
|
Pros: Great monitor bracket, excellent price, quick and inexpensive shipping.
Cons: The 3-3/8" bolt which controls the tilting motion of the bracket, stripped out on all four of the brackets I ordered once I tightened it down. Naturally, this is not a standard sized bolt. Could not find a replacement at hardware stores or home centers. Replacement hardware I bought turned a simple one person mounting and adjustment job into a two person pain in the behind. Took one person to hold monitor and another to tighten down with wrenches and then readjust.
As I stated above, a very easy monitor mounting project turned into something most people would have returned. I don't have the patience, didn't want to wait any longer for replacement parts, so I fixed it myself. Would have rated this a 10 if it weren't for an inferior bolt which is rated to hold a 30", 66 lb. TV/monitor. Mine were only 20 inch monitors, not even 15 lbs. A great product turned useless due to a cheap bolt. Cus. Svc. directed me to a chat room or to write an email. Automated return service, that's what it was. I'm older generation that actually prefers talking to a human being. Really a shame. I saw so many other items I was going to purchase.

In response to your reply it would be of great service to me and make me a happy customer if Monoprice could send me four new bolts to replace the bolts that stripped out on me. This would help me recover the additional cost of the hardware I purchased to replace the stripped out bolts. I will be moving with-in six months and when setting up my new office I can use the bolts along with a split washer to mount my monitors without the need of an assistant. The reason I never returned the brackets when this all happened was due to the fact they were already mounted along with my monitors attached. I am a stock trader and can't shut down everything to replace a bolt until I move and will be purchasing many more items for my office in the future. Sending me four replacement bolts would be the true meaning of "Customer Service". Thank You

Well-Constructed Easy to Mount
|
Pros: Title says it all.
Solid construction and easy to adjust. Thanks to Tech Support, with adapter plate, I am able to use it with a larger monitor (still well within the max weight limit). Saved me a lot of time, trouble and money. Monoprice rocks!

Pros: It's small and doesn't take up much space. Easy to assemble and adjust.
Cons: The knobs that hold it after you have swiveled are difficult to tighten without an allen wrench.
Broke the head of one of the lag bolts.
Cannot complain much since it was such a low cost. This was put as a temporary mount until I upgrade my tv in my man cave.

Pros: This product was exactly what I was looking for. I use it mounted on a speaker stand for karaoke.
Cons: Really make sure swivel are tight after adjustment of screen. Nothing else.
Recommend this to anyone who needs different views and angles for a screen. Very well built. Fast shipping, great product.

Great bracket!
|
Pros: Good quality swivel and tilt unit, the price is lower than ANY place else. Installed it 10 minutes, maybe.
Cons: It only came with mounting hardware for a concrete wall, I would have rated it a 10 if it would have shipped with drywall anchors too.

|
Pros: Solidly built, plenty of hardware, more than worth the price
Cons: Because of the design, adjusting the angles and tensions takes a bit more getting used to than an arm design.
Just installed two for dual monitor set up at my office as I have changed to mostly standing for working. These seem to be rock solid mounts and I am pretty much pleased out of the box.

Great bracket at any price.

Pros: Easy to mount, plenty of tilt/swivel, good construction (when you find your position sweet spot and tighten the knowit stays in place), fantastic price.

I have learned that you get what you pay for in TV wall mounting brackets. So I was a little bit wary of this under $8 bracket. But I now have 3 of them in my server room and I'm going to order more. What can I say. It looks good, is well built, and does the job. Plenty of tilt and swivel for my 18" monitors, and when I tighten the knobs it holds its position. I have 3 monitors mounted about 8 feet off the ground and flat on the wall they were just about impossible to view. But these allow me to set the perfect angle and view them from anywhere in the room. And they are easy to change if necessary.

Pros: Incredibly sturdy, impecable finishing (very even and nice black powder coat), easy to install and looks great.

Don't hesitate, buy it. I bought 2 for my computer and they were so great that my wife wanted them for her monitors too so I bought another 2. USE A SOCKET ADAPTER FOR A POWER DRILL TO MAKE LIFE EASY. I installed this using a wrench the fist time and it took me over 2 hours to do each. Then I stumbled upon a $2 adapter for the right size socket to drive in the screw. The second 2 took less than 40 min total.

These are not built super sturdy, but for the price they are unbeatable. You would expect garbage at this price point, but these are perfectly serviceable light duty mounts, all the screws are included. It would be insane to be disappointed with these for under $8.

Pros: Incredibly easy to install, amazing range, unique design, tilts and swivels in every direction imaginable, very nice high quality finish, looks amazing installed.
Cons: I think someone already wrote "doesn't cook and clean for me" so I got nothing.
Absolutely incredible. I have been a long time customer of Monoprice. The prices and quality were so amazing a few years ago and I thought it the amazement would fade and I would become desensitized to the products they offer.
It never faded. Again Monoprice amazes me with another high quality product that is such a good price that one would wonder if they have to hijack supply trucks and freighters to get it to their customers.
If you're looking for a good mount you can't go wrong with any one of the mounts Monoprice sells. Having tested and used over 5 different ones, I can confidently say that all of them are of equal if not better quality than the most expensive. And I'm comparing to well known high quality brands like Sanus that I used to buy before Monoprice started selling mounts.
INSTALLATION TIP: the screw anchors included are for concrete. They expect you to find studs for drywall. It isn't necessary. Go to the hardware store and get drywall anchors that require a 5/16th pilot and only drill a 1/4" pilot for a snug fit. YOU DO NOT NEED TO FIND A STUD. I have installed 4 of these and every one is holding a 25.5" monitor up. They are completely solid with no wobble.

For the money you CANT get better. Ive had this now for a while, install was easy make sure u put this in the wood stud. its rated at 60 pounds but if you install it good it can take much more. Im using this with my 23 inch monitor and it turns easily and the height can be adjusted and put in to place by being tightened. The metal used to make this is very strong and good quality. If you are looking to buy a little simple mount this is perfect.

The fact that it tilts, swivels and comes out away from the wall, was and is a great plus.

Sturdy Bracket
|
Pros: Sturdy, Easy to Install, very easy to adjust!
We were very impressed with this bracket's overall design... Almost over complex in its workings, we were able to angle our monitor in just the right direction. Once we tightened everything down, it was nice and sturdy. Excellent product.

Does what it's supposed to...

Pros: Mounts easily on wall. The bracket moves easily, but not too easily, making adjustments simple and (more-or-less) precise. Locking handle is easy to reach and turn. Can fit smaller or larger set of mounting holes on monitors (and TVs?).
Cons: None, really.
I mounted the bracket to a 3/8" plywood sheet that covers the wall. No problems. Holds a 23" computer monitor, but looks and feels strong enough to hold a greater weight. For the price, this is a great solution.

the mount is great for the price. works perfectly fine. i mounted it onto the wooden stud and its very strong. the mount is rated at 60 pounds though if you mount it right im sure it will hold more. im using this mount for my computer monitor and it does exactly what i need it to do. if u are looking for a cheap and simple mount with high quality then this is a great choice.

It Tilts AND Swivels!
|
I'm using this mount in a rather non-standard fashion (zip-ties + rack) but it still works. The mechanism is almost Goldberg-level in it's complexity, but that doesn't seem to detract from the mount at all, just looks really complicated. No issues with it other than it's a bit hesitant to change position, which is a good thing, in the long run.

Great Mount For The Price
|
I mounted my 26" Sharp LCD on this mount and it works great. I had no problems installing the mount. Took about 20 minutes and I had the TV up and ready to watch. The mount arrived very quickly and in good condition.

Excellent LCD bracket
|
I have to say that I couldn't find a better price on this LCD bracket, it is sturdy and easy to mount on the monitor (or TV), Monoprice does a very good job on shipping, it only took a couple of days to get my item and also the customer service is excellent, I especially like the fact that you can chat with one of their people before buying.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Thanks Monoprice.

I received this wall mount for our 22" LCD in about 4 days with standard shipping (which exceeded my expectations). The unit was very solid, looked great, and I had it installed in about 15 minutes.
I looked at several sites & saw comparable mounts for $50+. With shipping I paid $16. I would purchase from MonoPrice again ANYTIME!!

Easy to install but anchors were not effective
|
Had this unit up pretty quick, but I found the included anchors made the unit unstable. I used my own anchors to mount to wall. Included many screws to install many different mounting options for the backplate.

Okay for Lighter monitors
|
Used on a 24" Dell monitor and it will not tighten enought o hold in place. The monitor is well within the weight limit, but I mounted the monitor vertically, and it probably is just not designed for that. I do not recommend on large monitors or vertical mount.

Can't beat this for the money
|
I was hesitant to buy this thinking the price was an indication of quality, but after reading reviews here I thought I would give it a shot. I'm glad I did, this is a very nice bracket for the price! It's made very well. I used it to mount a 22" LCD screen to the wall with no problems whatsoever. Very sturdy!

Great LCD Monitor Mount
|
I just received 3 of these today and used them to mount 3 monitors on a custom stand. They are very high quality and work very well. My only complaint (and it is minor) is that the swivel lock down screw uses a plastic knob that on two of the units is not functional and on the other it is to tight to turn by hand. You can tighten this up with a hex wrench though. For my use, this is not a big deal and I am very pleased with what I received, especially because the price was so great but because of this minor issue I can't rate it a 10 so I deducted one point. Everything else is perfect, very solid construction and appears to be made to last a life time. Incidentally, while I was ordering these I also picked up a few other small items that have all been lower priced than anywhere I have seen and again, the quality is top notch. I will be ordering from Monoprice.com again and will share this great experience with all my friends.

|

Using as speaker mounts
|
I needed speaker mounts for my surround satellites. Finding good quality speaker mounts is a real challenge. So, the price was right so I took a flyer with these. Very happy with the results.
The mount itself is very solid and sturdy. Well built. I have no doubt it would solidly hold an LCD.

Huge bang for the buck.
|
These are solid mounts, come with a variety of screws (all you need, really), and WELL worth the price. I'm using three of them at the moment, holding 17, 19, and 24" monitors.
Any drawbacks? The swivel axis is closer to the monitor than the tilt, and attached at two points, meaning if you tilt the monitor, subsequent swiveling results in a weird slant to the monitor. I'm not sure if this is common or not, but it does mean that you should expect to use this as either a tilt OR swivel mount. Alternatively, if you're going to fix it in one position and leave it there, you could set the tilt/swivel and then just attach the mount to the wall skewed slightly: the mounting holes are "curved" to allow for such an arrangement.
But, all in all, you won't find anything close to this for the money. A solid 10.

I received the wall mount very quickly whick was great but i was missing one of the turn knobs that goes with it. didn't bother to call and go through any problems so my husband found a nut the he put on and it works fine.

|
I have no idea how this product is for an LCD. I bought it to use for my center channel speaker as the speaker mount I wanted wasn't available. For a center speaker mount, it works great. I can tilt the speaker exactly as I want it, and you can't beat the price. Buy it, if it doesn't work, sell it to a friend for double they'll think they are getting a great deal and you made some money )

Tilt Swivel Mount for 25" LCD
|
I got this mount to mount a TV in my son's bedroom. The mount it self is of high quality construction and functions very well.
My only issue was during the installation, I found the directions to be a little confusing.
The way this mount is designed, I found that if I inverted the mount, I actually got a better tilt angle and of course, I had to adjust how the TV bracket connected to the wall mount (inverted orientation.)
Overall, this mount has been great.

OK for the money
|
I was very disappointed when right out of the box a big piece of paint flicked off of this mount. Too inexpensive to screw around shipping it back. I am also disappointed that it sticks out approximately 6" from the wall. That being said, even with the cost of freight this was a very inexpensive product. It serves it's purpose. I would order again but would expect to have to address paint issues before using. For the money not a bad value.

Quality Monoprice Tilt/Swivel Bracket for an affordable price
|
This sturdy 100mm tilt/swivel wall bracket is a fantastic deal.
It hands-down beats competing products costing much more.
It's an excellent alternative to a simple fixed or tilt-only wall brackets.
If you need a general purpose LCD wall mount bracket, and even if you're not sure about needing tilt/swivel flexibility, then I recommend getting this Monoprice bracket.
LCD TV or monitor installers should always have one of these Monoprice tilt/swivel wall brackets on hand.

I bought this for my wife when she had to buy a monitor when the screen in her Mac laptop died. (NOTE: Don't buy a Mac laptop! Terrible quality, and the OS sucks IMO.)
Anyhow, I mounted it to a wall that's simply made of painted plywood. Once I scrounged up some screws, it went well and and my bride likes the mount. But the screws that come with it are lame - they are lag bolts and aren't threaded all the way to the head, so to use them you'd have to have a stud behind your mounting location, or depend on the plastic anchors that came with them.
So - I had to find some screws with a nice flanged head that had good wood-grabbing threads all the way to the head.
Mine included bolts & washers for attaching different sizes/types of monitors. We had no trouble attaching it to the monitor. The hardest part (which wasn't difficult) was removing the desk stand from her monitor. It is a 21" Acer monitor.
For the money, it's a pretty good deal. Should have had better mounting screws, but oh well. We paid $9.50 and are satisfied.

Great Quality Mount
|
This mount is a great quality, low price, very compact, and easy to install. I was mostly surprised about how small this mount was. I never looked at how big it was on the website so when I received it I was amazed. The only thing I didn't like about this mount was the depth of the allen wrench hole on the bolts. It made it fairly hard on a couple of bolts to get a good grip to take it apart for installation. Even with that though I would recommend MonoPrice.com over anything I have seen so far especially for the low cost mounts.

Worth It!
|
This is a sturdy mount. It is not made of thin steel with stamped reinforcement ridges. It is a very solid and well built mount. The joints are tight (no wobble) and moves smoothly between all three axis. Two knobs lock down the movement of up/down, in/out and left/right swivel. You will not find a better mount anywhere! I was shocked it only cost $9.50
I would recommend this mount for use in the following applications Home, Work, House of Worship, Studio, Commercial and High Tech installations.

Great product, for the price it's unbeatable! Does exactly what it says, looks great. When looking at the tv, it looks like its floating. All the mounting is hidden, gives the tv a clean look like its floating in the air. Very functional, being able to adjust the tv right/left, up/down, and close to the wall or pulled out from the wall. Would highly recommend!

Looks Good
|
Used to install a 22" LCD to the wall. Only have 2 issues with it. The first was on the install, I had was putting the center bolt in because getting the driver bit thru the middle of the frame to get it in there. The 2nd is range of motion up and down. More it would have been nice if it went up a bit farther. I think it is excellent for the price, and that it is great. Just wanted to make people of aware of these 2 minor issues.

Don't use the hardware
|
I bought 4 of these to set up monitors in my home server room the mounts themselves work awesome for everything from a 17 monitor to a 20 inch
If you aren't bolting directly into a beam - go out and spend the money on some good molly's, the ones included well, I wouldn't hang a dirty towel on them, but what can you really expect for $9 I spent an additional $2 on molly's for each mount to make sure I wouldn't walk into the room and find all my monitors laying on the floor.

I did not use any of the hardware included in the kit, I actually used some I had that was much more heavy duty for mounting it to the wall. The screws to mount the TV to bracket where already in my TV so I used them. My TV is a 26 Visio with built in DVD player so probably getting about as heavy as you would want on this bracket. Because of the size I found the bracket flexes slightly so adjustments to the angle have to be made a few times to get it just right.
Install took about 20 minutes, you know measure twice drill once and a few trips to the basement for correct screwdrivers etc. Instructions were included, but, they are unneeded as ist is incredibly simple to install.
I would definitely by another.

Doesnt work well for 20 degreee tilt and 40 degree swivel
|
The quality of the unit was fine and it had all the necessary hardware to mount on the wall. However, when I tried to mount a 19 LCD in a corner location about 18 down from the ceiling requiring it to swivel 40 degrees while tilting down 20 degrees. It didnt work. The mechanism held the TV so close to the wall that the lower corner of the TV hit the wall long before it could reach either the degree of tilt or swivel. I wouldnt count on swiveling the TV very far. It should work OK if you just want to tilt the TV down.

Positive It is steady and holds the monitor up.
Negative 1) A bit of a pain to install because I couldnt tell which way was supposed to be up now I know arrow points up. 2) I couldnt use the wall screws because they werent philips head, so I used my own. 3) Cant adjust the up/down tilt easily and left/right tilt isnt gripped too well.
Conclusion Despite its setbacks, its still a great mount. Id just love it if only the up/down tilting wasnt impossible after tightening the bolts.

Great Quality Low Price Exceptional Value
|
This was a great experience. It was my first purchase from monoprice. I was skeptical of the quality for how much things cost, but I was willing to take a chance. Im so glad I did. This is a high quality mount. It holds my 26 Vizio perfectly. The mounting was easy and all the hardware was included. I did have to attach the mount upside down to get the TV away from the wall far enough to achieve the proper angle, but that was my fault for not realizing how much distance I would need. All in all, I cant even say how happy I am. Monoprice is great.

Great mount
|
Wow I cant believe how flexible this mount is for this price. Holds a 26 tv perfectly fine. Swivels side to side, and tilts very far up and down. If you need to mount an LCD, this is the mount!!
