Great Price, Easy Install
|
Pros: Great Price, including shipping if order completed in bulk.
This was my first time using Monoprice.com. I ordered all wiring and TV mounts for my home entertainment system. It arrived in two days even though I ordered standard shipping. The TV mounts had easy instructions, and included more than enough hardware, such that it may be used for several different TV's types and installations.

Mounted with some problems
|
Pros: Once up this was great and holds up my new television very well.
Inexpensive.
Overnight shipping for $5 to Arizona
Cons: I sheared off two lag bolts (in wooden studs after drilling pilot holes). Luckily it cam with two extras or I would have had to take a trip to Home depot.
Not a lot of space between television and wall for wires.
This should have taken me 30 minutes to get up on the wall but as the lag bolts sheared off (with only moderate torque) it ended up taking me an hour and a half. It is very sturdy after all of that and I did a couple pull-ups on this (I weigh 165lb).

Quality Wall Mount
|
Pros: Sturdy, easy to attach and assemble, great price
Cons: Not really a con, but make sure you attach all your cables before getting your tv up as there is almost no room to do this later.
Bought this for my 46" Samsung. I am very satisfied with the ease of use and the great price of this product. Saved over $50 from in store! I will never shop in store again.

Pros: Bracket and tilt mechanism well made, and all the included hardware you could want
Cons: If you don't drill the holes for the lag bolts deep enough they tend to break.
I order two of these brackets. I drilled the holes for the lag bolts into studs and started to mount the brackets. On the first set I broke two lag bolts trying to tighten them. For the second bracket I drilled the holes a little wider and deeper, but still managed to shear one of the lag bolts off. Luckily for in stud installation you only need 4 bolts, so each kit had two extra. Other than that they work perfectly.

Great Bracket for a great price
|
Pros: This bracket is easy to mount and very strong. Quality materials were used to make the mounting system. I only mounted one TV using this system but it is easy to see that it would work well with a number of sizes and designs.
Cons: For the price I can't think of anything bad about this bracket.
It holds a maximum of 165Lbs but who needs that with today's light weight LED TVs. Still, when I put $$$ on the wall in the form of video equipment I want to feel secure. This bracket does the trick. Another advantage is that if I need to take down the TV for any reason it would be a snap. I really like see similar systems in stores for 3 - 4 times the price. It is a well thought out and engineered piece of equipment manifest in its simplicity and ease of installment.

Pros: This is the 3rd mount of this type I've gotten from Monoprice. I've hung 3 plasma TVs, 2 50" and 1 42". It is every bit as good as what you get at a major store, for 1/4 the cost. Very sturdy and easy to mount. Don't waste your money anywhere else.

Hangs the Panasonic TV No issue
|
Pros: Hangs my boyfriends th-50pz85u without any problems.
Cons: Takes 3 people to get it up on the mount, 2 to hold, 1 to hook up wires.
Fits really close to the wall. Tilts at a great angle, we have it above a couch and it is pretty high, but there is enough tilt to make it really nice.

Lowest price - by far! My parents came to visit and they had just bought a VERY similar mount at a warehouse club and paid more than twice (almost 3x) as much! So of course my father had to check the thing out - he was impressed with the quality and even more that it came with concrete anchors since I was mounting it on a masonry wall.

It took a while for me to get this TV mount. I was charged twice and had to talk to costumer service online two or three times. but in the end, they over nighted it to me a few weeks late free of charge. refunded the second charge on my card.

Pros: Easy to install, all nylock nuts...I used this when I got a new tv to put my 42in in my bedroom
Cons: The brackets at the bottom that hold the latch are a little tricky to set as they slide up on rails but it wasnt a huge deal

Cons: Nothing that I couldn't overcome but brick mounting requires a 10mm masonry bit, which is not going to be found at your standard hardware/big box stores in the US.
I picked this up from a recommendation at an AVS forum. I was a little skeptical of the quality because of the price, but it really is well made. I mounted my 55in LCD to a brick wall. The instructions were adequate and the installation was pretty straightfoward. I would highly recommend this wall mount.. The price is amazing and it truly is high quality.

Works great, amazing value

Pros: Sturdy, adjustable, easily installed, holds my TV securely on the wall.
Cons: Difficult to center on two studs. Didn't see screw spacers that came with my TV and took a hacksaw to those that came with this mount instead.
Wow! Why would you buy a TV mount anywhere else? I am amazed at how much people pay for so much less. This mount holds my 46" Samsung LCD to the wall with complete peace of mind. The included lag bolts are long and beefy enough to hold securely between two studs. The only major problem that I encountered was that my TV was centered between three studs, so I had to mount the back plate to the right and then hang the TV to the left to achieve centering. It is still secure, if a bit cantilevered. Also, the screw spacers that come with the bracket were either too short or too long to hold the bracket securely to the TV. I took a hacksaw to the long ones before realizing that Samsung had included ones of the perfect length in my TV's hardware package same effect either way, but a little bit of unnecessary work on my part. Overall, I am VERY satisfied with this mount! It looks so professional.

I feel like I stole it
|
I really feel like I stole this. Only $24, but the mount is awesome! Holds my 42" like a champ. The TV looks great floating on my wall, and when people hear I only paid $24 for a mount that sturdy, they drop their mouths in surprise. I have pointed many people towards monoprice since ordering products from them.

I used this to mount my 40" Samsung in the master bedroom. Not a tall profile but not a slim mount either. Works fine, but in hindsight I wish I had gone with a black colored bracket.
No complaints here.

Solid Bracket, but not perfect
|
I bought this based on reviews read here. It installed pretty easily, however, I broke one of the screws trying to tighten it, so I had to put in an additional screw in another location to make sure it was secure. I haven't had a problem other than that. Great deal!

I am very pleased with this Tilting Wall Mount Bracket for my 42" LCD TV. The prices are reasonable and the installation is very easy. This is my second bracket and I have purchased several HDMI cables as well. There is no reason to pay the ridiculous prices advertised by other dealers for these items. They perform very well.

Good mount but the screws were cheap
|
The wall mount itself seemed strong but while screwing in the bolts into the stud we broke 3 screws so had to run out and purchase strongers screws from a local hardware store. once we used the new screws the mount was a breeze to put up.

Quality Standard TV Mount

I've used almost every TV mount as a Custom AV Technician From Chief, Omnimount, Sanus & Pearless. These Monoprice mounts are a very good quality standard tilt mount w/ a decent distance from the wall, very serviceable, and a price you cant beat!!!!!

Works exactly as you would expect. Sturdy (as long as its properly mounted) and easy to install. Leaves enough room for wiring behind the tv after mounted, but not so much that it looks like the tv is protruding. Also shipped very quickly.

This is a great mount, it is holding my 52" LCD over my fireplace on a brick wall right now :)

Good quality mount, good price, relatively easy install

This wall mount is very sturdy and I was able to attach it to the wall by myself (no help needed) using a level. For the relatively low price, the quality is very high. The only possible negative I would point out is that since it is an adjustable mount, when it's set in the straight vertical position, the weight of the TV causes a very slight top-to-bottom angling of the TV (maybe a few degrees), but it's pretty subtle. If its critical for you to have perfect "verticality", then I would recommend purchasing a non-adjustable mount rather than this one. The reason that I did purchase the adjustable mount is primarily because it had more clearance from the wall, which was necessary to allow the HDMI cables to fit between the TV and the wall. I would recommend this product.

Once again, I'm simply blown away by Monoprice's ability to deliver a very high quality product at a tiny fraction of the cost of what's found in the big box or specialty stores. This mount is incredibly robust and, frankly, is complete overkill to hold my LCD - but since the cost was so low, it's not like I wasted money for the extra capacity. A variety of fasteners and spacers was supplied to suit most situations but I chose to supply my own due to unique installation circumstances. The mount, properly installed, easily held 225 lbs hanging from it with no signs of flexing, etc.
Given how substantial this mount is, and the inclusion of the tilt feature, it may not be for everyone it's not a "low profile" mount, and does leave the TV sitting several inches off the mounting surface (varies depending on on how far you tilt the TV). For my purposes however, this was perfect and left just enough room to mount a flat panel surge suppressor and hide cabling behind the TV, out of sight.
All in all, at less than $25, this is an absolute steal - thank you yet again Monoprice!

Awesome wall mount for 1/4 of the price
|
I bought a wall mount from BJs wholesale for my flat screen TV and then heard about monoprice.com. The same mount at monoprice was 1/4 of the price and as far as I can tell are exactly the same in material, design and durability. I have purchased two wall mounts from monoprice and I would not buy a wall mount or any HDMI cabling from anywhere else. Quality products for a fraction of the price! Monoprice is truly a diamond in the rough.

Great Deal
|
I've had my new TV hanging on my wall for over a month now, and I still get a smile every time I think about how much money I saved on the wall mount. It really was one of the best bargains I've gotten lately. The kit comes with all the hardware you need, and when installed into studs would probably hold a car on the wall. I only used two of the four bolts and it's not going anywhere. My only complaint is that I got the silver one because I didn't realize they have the same thing in black, which would have matched better. But that's my fault entirely. I recommend this mount and Monoprice.com in general to everyone.

MUST BUY
|
This was my first wall mount bracket purchase. My 50" plasma is hanging perfectly level. When I tell my friends/family how much I paid for this...they never believe me. I had help hanging the bracket, however it obviously could be hung by one person. The hardest part was trying to figure out how high I should mount it.

This is a great product for a great price. I was skeptical when I saw the low price compared to this same kind of product in the stores but when it came I was really impressed. Certainly cannot beat the price, and I hung my 42" Toshiba Regza on it.
Word of warning though, get some hardened lag bolts from your local DIY place and use those instead of what is in the box, I broke 3 on wall studs, they just twisted off while I was tightening, not safe!

This product is a great buy for the simple home installation. As I am a qualified Plasma and Lcd Technician, I had just recently purchased a 46" Sharp Aquos. And going through the mounts and styles and comparing the high prices of Best Buy and H.H. Gregs, Mono price should have them trembling. To make the most out of this mount they provide all the hardware necessary to complete the job. But in addition they give you spacers, and a good measure of security. However i would recommend changing the screws from Philips head to some type of Torx bit (T15 is a good measure). Use the spacers when attaching the brackets to the tv giving you about 4 inches from wall (note that excessive heat behind the unit will cause you problems down the road). All in all I give this product a 20 out of 10 so stop reading and MAKE YOUR PURCHASE. You wont be disapointed

This product is a winner! A similar mount was on sale at Best Buy for over $100 more. I took the advice of several web sites and use MonoPrice for mounts and cables. I live a half hour away so I picked it up at Will Call. My 55 inch LG is as happy as I am.

Strong and easy to install bracket
|
Installing this bracket was a simple task. I attached it using the provided lag bolts to the wall studs. It seems strong enough to hold a car on the wall. I wish I could say the same for the 4 tiny screws holding the LG 55" LH90 TV that weights about 80 pounds, though. I am sure that after the next earthquake, the bracket will still be on the wall, but not sure if the TV will.

Well built and reasonably priced
|
There really are no downsides to this mount. It took me about an hour to install it. I used expanding plastic wall anchors in my plaster walls (just four bolts), and it seems perfectly sturdy. The mount comes pre-assembled, which is great. I think it would take an extra half-hour if you had to assemble it yourself.

Very good service and product. It was very easy to install. I already had the wiring done prior to receiving the wall mount from Monoprice.com so it took me no more than 10 mins to hang the TV on the wall. This product cost was the fraction of how much Best Buy wanted. Very good service, fast shipment, and good quality product.

|
this mount was very easy to install. It says in the directions that you need all six lag bolts but i just put four into the studs and then i hung from the mount. I am 185 lbs and the thing didn't budge so i figured it would hold my 60lbs 47" tv no problem. The tilting is excellent and very easy to adjust. i highly recommend this product.

Purchased this for mounting a 42" Vizio in my living room. Mounted and had TV hung withing 90 minutes. Took longer to find someone to help me lift the TV onto the wall more than anything else.
Mount feels sturdy and the tilt made angling it for viewing flawless. Highly recommend this mount. Don't let the low price fool you. This item is sturdy and well built.

Strong, sturdy bracket will not go anywhere if you install according to directions. Mounted my 50" plasma in a matter of a couple hours with no problem, and at a small fraction of what Best Buy or Wal-Mart would charge. Monoprice rules!

Directions say 10mm drill bit
|
10mm drill bits are very difficult to buy in the U.S. The closest typical conversion is 3/8 inch bit. If you're drilling into concrete (which I was) then you may experience problems. Besides that, great mount.

Works perfectly! Looks great above a fireplace.
I bought metal inserts for the brick because I didn't trust the plastic ones given. Also, I wish it had a way to adjust the up and down tilt because mine was slightly off level because the brick was slightly off level. A small piece of wood fixed that though

Great product, I've had two of these in three different houses now on 3 different televisions Sony, Samsung and Panasonic, easy to install and move. Save all the extra bolts that it comes with in case you get a new TV at some point it will save you a long and frustrating trip to your local hardware store looking for an appropriate substitute.

Great Value
|
I'm a flat panel TV installer, so I've installed all types of mounts. For the money this is the best value and quality. With that being said the only draw back is that when you try to adjust the tilt you have to take the pressure off the arms.(large heavy TV) I had to push the top part of the bezel towards the wall while adjusting the top screws on the arms, you need two people to do this. That's my two cents.
I will order this mount again.
