This speaker is designed to attach firmly to a smooth, flat surface and transfer subwoofer frequencies to that surface, turning it into a giant speaker. The speaker can be mounted directly or with a small stand, which is included in the package.
The speaker connects to your phone or media player using the Bluetooth™ 2.1+EDR standard. It supports the hands-free protocol (HFP), which means you can use it as a speaker and microphone for hands-free phone calling. The speaker is powered by an internal 10 watt amplifier and produces a frequency response of 40Hz ~ 20KHz. The speaker has a built-in crossover network, which directs the extremely low frequencies to the driver in the base of the unit, for producing extremely low frequencies on the large flat surface.
The speaker measures about 2.2" x 2.8" and weighs about 9.6 ounces. A small plastic disc is included, which can be screwed onto a flat surface. The speaker then screws into the plastic disc, for a more secure and permanent resonant mounting point.
