These lightweight earphones fit comfortably on top of your ears, as opposed to around your ears like that of a traditional DJ style headphone. The sound quality is superb, with solid bass and crisp highs. While the over-the-ear design does not provide for noise-cancelling, the volume level of the headphones is sufficient to block all but the loudest sounds from intruding on your headspace.
In addition to excellent musical reproduction, these headphones can also be used as a hands-free device for making and receiving phone calls, when paired with your phone. If you are listening to music when an incoming call is received, the music will automatically pause and then resumes when the call is terminated.
The right-side earphone has all the controls, including a play/pause button, volume up/down buttons, next/previous track buttons, the power switch, and a multifunction button, which is used for pairing and answering calls. The left-side earphone has the microphone and the USB charge connector, which is covered by a rubber flap when not in use.
The headphones have an effective range of up to 30 feet (10 meters) and comply with Bluetooth version 3.0. They are charged using a standard USB A male to USB mini-B male cable, a 3 foot version of which is included.
