| My favorite headphones | Pros: Comfortable fit excellent sound quality as I can hear every instrument clearly detachable cable is an excellent idea.
Cons: If you're looking for mega-bass, these aren't the headphones for you. Bass is not emphasized over other elements.
I bought these headphones hoping for the quality of an old paiar of Sennheisers. I was not disappointed. I would recommend these headphones to anyone

| Great Headphones | Pros: These sound amazing and they are extremely cheap. Really great value.
Cons: If you care how you look in over the ear headphones, these things are clunky.
These are not designed for you to be that guy - they are for you to have hi fi sound in your own apartment without pissing off your neighbors because you are blaring your hi-fi speakers. They sound amazing, what else matters.

Cons: Ear gets uncomfortable/hurt after an hour of use, i tried wearing it different but still hurt and get uncomfortable.
Overall its a worth buying headphone, it might just be me that the headphone gets uncomfortable since i have a larger than normal head lol.

| Unbelievable! They go to 11! | Pros: 1. Sound is spectacular! 2. Comfort. 3. Inexpensive.
Cons: 1. Weight 2. Plug-Hole can be an issue with heavy cords.
These cans are simply amazing! I have bought headphones and tested them for almost 30 years and found nothing comparable for the price in all that time. The best way to describe them is WARM with a wide SPACE. For audiophiles like me, these are not just similiar but almost exact replicas (soundwise) to the Sennheiser HD 600's. At the occasional high or extreme low they may reach their peak but only on rare occasions.
They are wonderfully comfortable to sit on your ears for hours.....however, after very log periods of use they begin to weigh heavy on the head and neck. By long I mean 4-10 hours. They are clear, warm and easy on the ears.
Also, the plug hole may not hold heavy cords, so be careful which ones you choose. A 16AWG 10 ft. cord may be overkill for example.
I use these for everything. Everything meaning my MP3 player, the various PCs I own and Laptops as well as my NAD Reciever and Amps. It has become my general purpose pair of cans. For different types of music from Gene Autry to Black metal and great for watching movies or tv as well! For the price with the sound of these, you cannot go wrong! Seriously, buy these you will not regret your purchase.

| I love these headphones. | Pros: Really nice feel, good weight, the noise is so muffled you can barely hear in or out, really versatile turning phones, removable cord.
I love these head phones and I use them everyday. It might sound weird but these phones have literally improved my quality of life. I listen to music for at least an hour a day, and to be able to listen in such style and quality is amazing. For the price you can seriously not find a better pair of headphones. I'm planning on ordering more so I can give them as gifts.

| Problem with the short cable | Pros: Great sounding headphones, detachable cable, short and long cables provided
Cons: Short cable was bad, only played sound in one ear
My son's old headphones had worn out, and because of the great reviews, I decided to get him these headphones. I had not heard them myself, and I personally own Sennheiser, Ultimate Ears, and AudioTechnica models for myself but my son it too active for any of those, so I opted for the Monoprice cans. Out of the box, the short cable did not work. He said the phones sounded great, way better than his old JVCs, but only one ear had sound with the short cable. I contacted Monoprice, and they promptly shipped a replacement cable, but it was not the same as the defective one. I couldn't understand why Monoprice could not provide an exact replacement for 5 minute old headphones that come from their company with their name on them. What we got instead was a nickel plated cable that was 2 feet longer (about 6 feet total) so it was way too long to use as a walk around cable, and even worse, it had a connector with so much insulation on it that it would not even fit the headphone jack! It is one thing to disappoint me, but I was very frustrated that my son who never ever asks for anything at all had to be disappointed twice. I had to pry out of him that his old headphones I had already repaired had finally broke down completely b/c he would not have ever said anything. I know it's just headphones, but when a parent takes responsibility for giving something to their child to make their day a little brighter, it's aggravating to have the experience ruined not once, but twice. I got a follow up email from Monoprice to see if the issue had been resolved, and I told them that the cable they sent was not even the same one, and that it didn't even fit and I had to go buy another cable from Radio Shack to fix the problem. I never heard back from them again after that. I've gotten good stuff from them in the past with no problem, but I haven't bought anything after the headphone cable issue, and then the poor execution of the replacement and no follow up after telling them I had to pay out of pocket for another cable. I would have at least liked a "sorry, man", "my bad", or something. But such is life.

| Uncomfortable | Pros: Good sound for the price range
Cons: Extremely uncomfortable Makes Ears sweaty Headband has very little padding and few contact points making pressure points on the head Clamping force is high making it even more uncomfortable
A headphone can have the best sound in the world, but if it hurts to wear it whats the point? It's Useless

| Worth the Price | Pros: Decent headphones, relatively comfortable on my ears, like the detachable cable. Perfectly fine for casual listening / blocking out other sounds with music.
Cons: Not the greatest sound bass is a little odd (doesn't go too low, has a bit of a hump around I'd guess 100-250 Hz) but not terrible. I wouldn't use these for critical listening purposes like mixing, but then the nature of headphones in general is a big disadvantage while mixing anyway.
Pretty good, above average cheap headphones. Better than "meh" but not awesome. I rated based on value for the price, rather than absolute performance compared with all other headphones.

Pros: Unbeatable price Great sound
Cons: Look kind of stupid
These do not look that great. I'm not all that concerned with this but thought I'd mention it.
Other than that, these headphones are absolutely fantastic. Great response and range and for the price point it is absolutely unbeatable.

| We love our monoprice DJ Style Headphones | Pros: Great sound reproduction, crisp and clear with good bass. Headphones are snug and do a good job blocking any background noise. Overall design is comfortable.
Cons: Ear holes are on the smaller side so not very comfortable if you have big ears.
Great sound reproduction, crisp and clear with good bass. Headphones are snug and do a good job blocking any background noise. Overall design is comfortable. Only con that I can see is that the ear holes are on the smaller side so not very comfortable if you have big ears. I like the fact that the headphones come with two styles and lengths of 3.5mm cords.

| Awesome | Pros: Fit even the biggest heads. Great sound. Long chord.
Cons: None
I work in radio and use these quite often. They are the best headphones I've ever used and the others who have worn them are ditching there's for a pair of these.

| Good, but broke | Pros: Cheap. Nice while they lasted I had no problems with sound quality.
Cons: The plastic broke, at the left side joint. I didn't use it very unusually, it was just normal use.
They only lasted five months, but during that time, I liked them. I'm probably going to guy some actually nice headphones now. Anyway, if you just want decent headphones, that will probably break within a few months for insane cheap, these are what you want.
by Monoprice Administrator Hello Tom,
My apologies for the problems you ran into with the headphones and them breaking on you. We do offer a 1 year warranty on the item and if you like I can issue an RMA for a replacement. Again my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Cons: None I can tell.
Works as advertised. I'm not a audio fanatic, but they have very good sound. The best part is the price.

| Buy iy | Pros: For the price, this is the best over ear headphones you can buy. You get interchangeable cords, one short and one long, depending on what you use them for.
Seems well built and sturdy. Bass response and sound quality is excellent.
Cons: I'm a little upset that the sound quality (especially bass response) is equivalent or better than my SkullCandy Aviators.
If you're thinking about it, buy it, you won't regret it.
