The speaker measures only 2 1/8" in diameter and about 1 1/2" tall when closed (about 2 1/8" tall when opened). It opens to reveal the power switch, volume control, and USB mini-B power/audio signal connection. A power/charging LED is embedded in the rim of the base to indicate when the device is charging (red) or fully charged/in use (blue).
The speaker comes with a combination power/signal cable. A USB A male plug is used to connect to any USB power source to provide charging power to the speaker, while a 3.5 mm stereo plug is used to connect to the output of your audio device. Both the audio and power are carried to the speaker through a USB mini-B connection. The cable measures about 6" between the USB A male plug and the USB mini-B plug, and about 23" from the mini-B plug to the 3.5 mm audio plug.
