Pros: -Very small and portable
-Great for use with an MP3 player or Ipod or other portable sound device
Cons: -The sound jack is too short
-Wouldn't recommend use with a laptop or computer
-Powered by USB
After only about two weeks' use, the usb power was acting funny. I had to start doing extra fidgeting with the USB cord to get it to be powered properly. The USB power cord it comes with is too short and annoying. As mentioned, the sound jack is way too short as well, so I can't place the speaker further away from my laptop,

Pros: Impressive volume for the size relatively compact innovative design for holding iPod while still being portable
Cons: Wary about durability of a couple parts
For a compact system, this is impressively loud - easily filling a small room with enough sound to have to turn it down when the phone rings. Not what I would call high fidelity, but not obnoxious or tinny. Great for audio books. Impressive battery life however, I'd gladly pay double or triple for an integrated rechargeable battery and charger. Can use many different chargers as A/C power, however, and includes a cord for that purpose (just plug in to appropriate USB style charger). Worried about the long-term durability of the audio jack and cord I am certain that the removable iPod dock will eventually break or get lost

Good little speakers
|
Pros: Small, good sound for small unit Nice option to power by USB
Cons: Not good bass or high end response but not really expected from such a small unit, the on/off switch is a bit flakey
Great little set of speakers for your cell phone, mp3 player, or anything with a 3.5mm jack. The price is too good to pass up.

Monoprice to the rescue
|
Pros: + Small fold-able design
+ Highly Portable
+ decently loud for their size.
+ paired with Product ID: 7364 turns these into a simple little bluetooth stereo output device!
Cons: -When units arrived, they did not have the USB/DC power cord included.
(+++One quick message to monoprice and the cords arrived the next day! - MONOPRICE to the rescue!)
-When plugged into my car's rear audio output (for headphones) AND the USB power adapter, an AWFUL wine is all that can be heard from the speakers.
Ultimately not able to use for the intended purpous, but nice little speakers for the price.
Once monoprice sent the correct USB/DC adapter pictured on the product page these will do nicely for a simple portable bluetooth stereo speaker set (when paired with Product ID: 7364)
The unbearable high pitched wine prevents them from being used with a car 5v usb adapter as the power source, not a total surprise, maybe a higher quality 12VDC to 5VDC adapter would fix the issue. but for now they have become a bluetooth speaker set for our patio and deck.

Pros: Compact.
Portable.
Easy to power (USB or 4x AAA batteries).
Price.
Customer Service.
Cons: Audio cable is pretty short. About 6 inches. Can be solved with extension cable...haha
Sound quality is "good enough". It is also pretty loud for its size. Bang for your buck, this is definitely worth it.
First unit came did not work with batteries but was fine with the usb cable. RMAed and received a response next business day. Was told I did have have to return to defective one and received replacement the next day. Replacement works perfectly. Great customer service.

Awesome
|
Pros: Very small. Great sound for the size and the price.
These speakers are great! They're really small, so they fit anywhere, you have the option of battery or AC power, so you can use them anywhere. The sound is surprisingly good!

Spunky little speaker!
|
Pros: Easy setup.
Great sound.
Cons: None so far.
This has been a nice little speaker for my Netbook. It has great sound and was well worth the price.

Works pretty good
|
Pros: sound good
Cons: none
hooked up my Droid 2, turned on Pandora, and it sounds good, especially for 4 bucks. very portable. would work great on a sunset beach date with wine and cheese.

Great for the price
|
I was pleasantly surprised at the volume capacity of these little speakers. They are lightweight and compactperfect for outside use or when you don't want to have to carry around your large speakers. Only two complaints: I have to jiggle the cord just a bit until I get a good connection between the speakers and my ipod. Also, I wish my ipod touch could sit in the cradle while plugged in to the speakers, but someone didn't design it wellso my ipod has to sit upside down in the dock (otherwise the cord doesn't have a good connection and the sound has static). It looks silly when I do it, but at least I'm able to get good sound out of it. For a few bucks, I'm willing to put up with it!

not the best sound quality but i bought the same thing a year ago from target or something for $8 and what do you know, monoprices price is like half.
this thing isn't for high class music parties but woks great for on the go.

Perfect as a portable iphone speaker
|
Pros
- small size
- inexpensive
- good quality sound
- highly portable (folds up into a cube)
Cons
- gets some static at higher volumes
- batteries (if left in), will leak and destroy it
- little hard to fit iphone in with silicone case (but i actually kinda like this... secures the phone more).
Bottom Line
- i bought this for my iphone (3g), due to the fact that the apps like pandora and last.fm wont export music through the usb (bottom) connection. This rendered my other speakers useless for playing radio music. Being that this speaker connects with the headphone jack, anything can be played through this speaker. This ability alone makes this a definite worthwhile purchase. Great as gifts too!

Good idea and size. Put batteries in and they worked well for 20 seconds. Then batteries got real hot and the unit failed. The second unit was missing a battery spring.

Very nice sound, good volume, all around good quality. input cord a little small, not perfect connection. Perfect for ipods, mp3 players, laptops, and anything that doesn''t have good speakers or speakers at all
