Great mouse!
|
Pros: Small (but not too small), solid feel (buttons, screen wheel), and accurate!
Cons: None
I held off on buying a portable wireless mouse for some time but with the price of this it was a no brainer. Very happy with how it tracks and feels and Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 8 had no issues with installing drivers for it. Plug it in and away you go!

Great compact mouse
|
Pros: - Small mouse but still fits well in your hand. Unless you have huge hands. - Scroll wheel is quiet and smooth. - Good click feedback. - No traction problems. - USB dongle is tiny!
Cons: - Uses 2 AAA batteries instead of a AA or rechargeable.
Fantastic mouse for the price! It's nice and small, but still very functional and contours to your hand. I love that the scroll wheel is smooth and silent. The USB dongle is tiny, you'll barely notice it in your USB slots. I didn't need to download any drivers (OSX 10.6.8, haven't tried it on Windows 7 yet), so it really was a simple plug and play.

Pros: Price Shape Range/Responsiveness
Cons: Can't think of any.
Just wanted a new mouse, my old one crapped out, only meant to get a real cheap one, turns out, it's actually really nice, pretty good range, really accurate and responsive. Overall good buy.

missing a back button
|
Pros: The mouse seems sturdy enough, and works well and right away.
Cons: I've had better mice at this price point if for no other reason than they have a back button. I didn't realize how much I use an rely on back buttons until i bought a mouse without one.
If you're used to a back button, find something else. Other than that, it's a solid mouse

wireless mouse
|
Pros: Very small dongle that doesn't stick out far while in the USB port. I leave it in my laptop all the time because I know it will not get damaged or break off. The mouse works perfectly. Great value.
Great value, does everything I expected of this mouse with a tiny dongle.

Pros: Ok for 2 months
Cons: Wheel stopped working after 2 months.
by Monoprice Administrator Hello DenisP,
Thank you for your review and my apologies for the issues you have experienced with PID 9257. Unfortunately, it sounds like you may have received a defective product. Now if you'd like, I can help setup an RMA for a replacement. If you would like me to proceed with the RMA, all I would need is the order # this mouse is under. Sorry again for the trouble and thanks in advance!

At this price, you won't find better
|
Pros: - Plug-n-play with Debian Linux - Small, ergonomic - Good build quality - Notched scroll wheel - "Clicky" buttons
Cons: - Only 3 buttons - Dongle is difficult to remove - Falls asleep
Great little mouse for the price. Has the classic "clicky" style buttons and a notched scroll wheel. Plug-n-play with Windows 7 and Debian Linux. Wish it had 5 buttons. The wifi dongle has convienient storage on bottom of the mouse but is held in with magnets so, it can be difficult to remove. I usually have to pop off the battery cover to slip it out. Had to do the same with my Logitec and HP mice in the past so not really a big deal. The mouse does have an annoying habit of falling asleep. Requires clicking to wake up. Overall, this is a great little mouse for traveling and laptop use. Monoprice, as always, was a pleasure to deal with.

works with Win8
|
Pros: literally plug and play this mouse beats waiting for a Target sale or rummaging for a clearance wireless mouse
Cons: I get a reboot "something went wrong" screen once I plug the USB transceiver into my laptop port. Could be a random thing.
1st purchase here on Monoprice (along with requisite HDMI cables) when this was advertised as the deal-of-the-day over on Facebook. Had bought the max amount (5 units) when they were priced at $7.98 each. One co-worker needed one as her daughter liquid damaged their only working mice device, and kept extras on hand. Was curious how it was against the Logitechs and Microsoft wireless mice I had in possession. This works wonderfully. No drivers were needed when plugging this in a new Win 8 laptop I'm using. Highly recommended

Looks nice but...
|
Pros: Awesome design
Cons: The optical sensor is not smooth at all. Horrible
It's not really smooth as it's supposed to be. Useless for me now, I cant even use it even with a mouse pad. Im gonna go back to Logitech, a little bit pricy but great quality
by Monoprice Administrator Hello Mr. Tran,
Sorry for the dissatisfaction you had with the optical mouse. If you like and it isn't going to work out for you I can issue an RMA for a return, I would just need your order number to get the process started. Again my apologies for any trouble this has caused.

Works great, wheel doesn't work
|
Pros: Feels great good quality awesome price.
Cons: Mouse wheel doesn't work with Win8.
Can't beat the quality for the price overall, great mouse. The one frustration is that the wheel doesn't work on Windows 8. Works on first click, stops after that. Behaves as a middle button as expected, though.

Pros: - Works well
Cons: - Did not work exactly as planned initially
The description states that this needs nothing more than to be plugged in and it will start working no drivers, etc needed. This was not true for me. Win 7 tried to install drivers, but couldn't seem to complete this correctly. The mouse would not work, even after pressing connect, rebooting, etc. Finally, I went to device management and saw that the mouse was being seen by Windows. I then had Windows update the drivers. This worked. Now the mouse works wonderfully.

Pros: I purchased two of these mice. One is being used on a Lenova laptop, the other is on a DVR for a business survielence system. In each case they worked upon being plugged in.

Works Great even with my big hands
|
Pros: Easy to install. USB receiver very small. Worked first try.
Cons: Smaller than I expected
I have big hands and would have liked the mouse to be bigger, but no complaints about how it works. Worked right out of the box. Plugged in USB receiver, put the battery in the mouse and away it went. Been working fine ever since.

Pros: Works good. Small, light... I love the small size.
Cons: Seems to have some issues with certain surfaces that other mice work on. And it does, from time to time, give me a hard time when trying to drag and highlight something. But for what I need it for, which is occasional use with my laptop when I'm not docked, I can live with that. Especially for the price.

Great Portable Mouse
|
Pros: Everything I wanted in an optical wireless mouse for my laptop. Excellent battery life from just 2 AAA cells, easy to wake up from sleep mode, lightweight with a place to hold the tiny dongle, nice feel in my hand. No drivers needed for WinXP. I bought a second for the netbook. Great price!
Cons: The mouse marked with the the Monoprice name. That's fine for me, but maybe not everyone else.
I'll buy another for sure.

Good for the price
|
Pros: Affordable, portable, good range, comfortable to use
Cons: USB receiver is hard to put in and take out of USB slots (it seems like it's too large) Scroll wheel occasionally sticks
For $10 you aren't going to find a better mouse. The scroll wheel does stick and the USB receiver is hard to get out of your computer once you put it in, but other than that no complaints. These are pretty nit-picky cons I admit. You should still buy this mouse if you want an affordable and comfortable wireless mouse.

Great Deal
|
Pros: Compact, Functional, comes just as advertised.
Cons: it's a little bit on the small side
for under $10 this mouse is a steal. I use it for work, which has me navigating a computer for 40-60 hours any given week. The mouse is of solid construction, and works well for everyday use. It looks good and is comfortable to the touch. it is a bit on the smaller side (i'm 5'9", 155lbs) but not uncomfortably small. Small enough where it's compact for travel, but not burdensome (in my opinion, atleast). 10 stars for saving me $25.
