The Wireless 3G-N1 Broadband Router is designed to accept a 3G USB modem using either the CDMA2000 EV-DO, TD-SCDMA, or HSPA/WCDMA specifications. You plug the modem into the router and it performs all the dialing chores necessary to connect the modem to your cellular network. The router then creates a secure 802.11n wireless network cloud, which you can use for multiple wi-fi capable devices.
The router also includes a broadband RJ45 jack, allowing you to use it with a wired broadband cable or DSL modem. For security, the router supports SSID broadcast control, MAC address access control, WEP encryption, and WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK authentication. A Quick Secure Setup (QSS) option complies with WPS requirements for a hassle-free wireless configuration.
The router supports the 802.11n (Draft 2.0) specification and is backwards compatible with the 802.11b and 802.11g standards. It supports transmission speeds up to 150M and employs both MIMO and SST technologies.
