Not bad, but few things to be aware of
|
Pros: Inexpensive, well built
Cons: Plastic in strap material is thick and velcro hooks a bit rough. (large hooks, not very dense in their frequency)
These cables are great for wrapping up large heavy cables (like power or microphone XLR or 1/4") but for smaller cables (like audio RCA) they're a bit thick and the velcro hooks are cough on your naked hands. Totally fine for gloved use.

These MONOPRICE are MONOPRICE awsome, except MONOPRICE for the logos
|
Pros: Holds cables well, great for organizing cables, can flip over to put the firm side of velcro out to secure to industrial carpet.
Cons: MONOPRICE logo in bright MONOPRICE white, on a black MONOPRICE surface. Makes very hard to MONOPRICE use these for anything business related.
I'm in marketing, I understand branding. I get it. But come on guys... ease up a little bit on covering everything in logos... or at least be a little more discreet on something like this.
These are a great product, they give you a great way to secure cables, or organize them. Great for securing coiled cable being stored. 10x better than zip ties, twist ties, or any other method. GREAT if you are using them deep inside your stereo rack, and don't care how they look. If you have industrial carpet, you can reverse the velcro, and place the firm side out, and you have a great way to stick cables to the carpet and keep them in place.
However, I'm trying to use these in MONOPRICE an *office setting*... and take MONOPRICE them to tradeshows to organize wires. The logo is so big and obnoxious on these products, that for the tradeshows, I ended up taking a sharpie marker to try and blank out the logo. Others I had to attach backwards so the prickly side of the velcro was facing out.
If you guys really have to brand these things, consider using some kind of heat stamp to melt the logo in, or, use BLACK ink, so the logo is clearly visible if you're holding it, but not from across the room. Aside from that, it's a great product, and a good price.

Excellent
|
Pros: Reusable. Easy to remove for maintenance. Perform exactly as expected. Great price!
Cons: There are no cons for these straps.
I put them in my lab because they previously had cable ties that had to be cut off, a very lengthy, boring, and unnecessary task. Highly recommended for cable management of any sort. These are the kind generally used in comm closets.
