Cons: None
I used the adapter to connect to the ThunderBolt port of my wife's 2012 Apple MacBook Air to a 2008 20 inch Apple Cinema Display It works perfectly.

Pros: cheap, quick, exactly what we needed
Cons: none so far
This was exactly what we needed for Thunderbolt to DVI and it has lasted so far. No complaints.

| Defective out of the box. | Pros: Price was good, item arrived quickly.
Cons: So far, everything else.
This particular one that i received does not work. tried many different cables, and monitors. Doesn't even show an image. Hoping I can get a replacement.

Thanks, now it seems there is already an RMA in the process for this adapter. If they haven't already, a returns department representative will contact you by E-mail which will include an RMA # along with instructions to follow as well as doing further troubleshooting with you as necessary. If you want "thunderbolt" to DVI, this should be your only choice.

After an amazon vendor sold me a non-functioning counterfeit cable advertised as being from Monoprice I decided to order direct from Monoprice, as my friends do.
The cable works. Nothing more. That's what a cable should do.

| Cheap and It Works | Pros: It works.
Cons: If you're buying your hardware based on looks first, then you're not going to like this product. Of course, if you're shopping monoprice, then you don't fall into that category.
Hooked up the Planar monitor my office gave me to my MBP-R 15". Worked perfectly from the start.
