great for base
|
Pros: you can use it for multiple plugs
Cons: would be nice to only have all plugs one color
I used this to plug in a powered sub from two locations in the room, it was great
|

Utter junk
|
Pros: None.
Cons: Did not function. Worthless.
They were unusable. That is, they didn't work. At all. They did not make a reliable connection (sort of worked for audio, not at all for video). Tried two units thinking one was just a lemon but neither worked. Wasted the whole morning on the project and have nothing to show for it but holes in the wall where these worthless wall plates were supposed to fit.
First and last purchase from Monoprice.

Works great, had to trim a little for non-supplied Decora faceplates.
|
Pros: Good quality, great price, gotta love Monoprice!
Cons: Size is a smidgen too large for standard Decora faceplates, but they fit fine in the supplied faceplates. I wanted to use oversize plates and had to do a little trimming.
As always super quick shipping and easy order process. I've bought a LOT of stuff from monoprice and always been happy. Had an issue once and MP took care of it months after the order. These plates work great, good price, great quality. Cant beat it for the price (as usual!)

You can't find any better quality wall plates for the money. Happy as alway with my monoprice order.*

Great plate
|
This plate provided me an elegant solution to my home theatre arrangements. I have a left surround and a sub in the same corner, but I did not want to cut for two plates or a double gang box. So, I bought this plate and a single plate speaker decor. I swapped out two of these posts with the screw posts from the single, making a sub and speaker triple plate. What a great find - this worked great.
There was one design issue for me - the mounting screws prevented the faceplate from mounting totally flush with the wall. I found some other spare flat headed screws that worked better.

This wall plate worked awesome, I was waiting for monoprice to supply a decora style component wall plate that could be matched up with the HDMI wallplate with a dual gang decora style faceplate.
Everything works great! I now have a dual gang wall plate with a component and HDMI together (decora style is great!)
