This adaptor is the quickest and easiest way to add a RAID 1 drive set to any USB 2.0 equipped Windows, Mac, or Linux desktop or laptop computer. The adapter connects to a pair of SATA internal hard drives and includes all the software necessary to turn the drives into a Type 1 RAID Array.
The adaptor comes with a pair of eSATA to SATA cables (to connect the drives to the adaptor), an AC adaptor with two SATA power connectors to power the drives, and a USB 2.0 cable to connect to the computer. It also comes with a pair of protective silicone skins to protect the exposed internal hard drives.
