USB 2.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter

Get Gigabit Ethernet speeds on your existing desktop or laptop PC or Mac computer by using this USB 2.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter from Monoprice!

Unless you have a newer PC, your built-in LAN port probably only supplies a 10/100 Mbps connection. This adapter lets you enjoy the faster speeds of Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbps) without having to replace your computer or open it up and add a new interface card. The adapter is at the end of a short cable, so the adapter body will not interfere with other ports or connections.

This adapter can be used with Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Mac® OSX® 10.4 and higher. It is compatible with the IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, and 802.3ab standards and supports both full and half-duplex operations in Fast Ethernet mode. It also supports jumbo packets up to 9 KB, plus suspend mode and remote wakeup via linkup or magic packet. It is compatible with USB 2.0, 1.1, and 1.0 ports.
