Works just like promised!

Pros: Actually works better than promised. I relocated my computer. I have a USB audio that I have on my sound system so I can listen to my music via my sound system. I had a 33ft USB connected before I moved it. To test out the cable I just disconnected the 33ft from the computer and plugged the 65ft so I had almost 100ft of USB to the USB audio and it worked perfectly.
Cons: The ONLY reason that it didn't get a 10 has nothing to do with performance I wish, I may have overlooked it, was available in white.
Works great!!!

Works great. Box on cable is right in middle.

Pros: Good transfer speed. I've not compared it to plugging straight in to the computer, but it transfered files fast off my thumb drive.
Cons: amplification box right in the middle of cable
Overall this cable works great. The only downside for me was that the box on the cable with the amplification circuitry is right in the middle of the cable. I needed to run a good bit of it in conduit and was told by monoprice that it was 6' from the end which would have made fishing it easy. Being in the middle made running it very challenging, but once installed, it worked great.

Pros: Great value. Great performance.
Cons: Repeater nodes are kinda large if you want to hide the cable or run the cable through walls.
Used this cable to connect my computer to a webcam (Logitech C910) in another room. I run the webcam most of the day and have a solid uninterrupted connection. I believe the repeater nodes register as USB hubs on my computer, so just to be safe I connected the cable first (drivers installed automatically) before connecting the camera.

Pros: Product arrived very timely, unfortunately cable doesn't fit Xbox Kinect. Hope the return process goes as avertised.
Cons: This cable does not fit the new Xbox Kinect.

Hello,
My apologies about the cable not working with your Kinect unit. Microsoft has two different connections for the Kinect depending on if you purchased the unit separately or in the bundle with the Xbox. The cable above is for the usb version and for your unit sounds like you will need item 8487 which can be used with the usb extension. I have posted a link below just in case.

Pros: Length!!! I need the length!
Cons: None.
Prior to purchase there was uncertainty if this cable would power a receiver for a wireless keyboard/mouse combo - Logitech MK300. Happy to report that it works very well and also works just fine with Logitech K400 2.4 Ghz wireless keyboard.

touch screen monitor
|
Pros: This works great for my touch screen monitor. I have the monitor mounted on the wall about 30 feet away from the computer. This is for a touch screen jukebox I built.
Cons: Cable is a little long, wish they had one about 30 feet but it still works great.

Excellent value

Pros: Fantastic price for the size
Cons: None so far
As a professional photographer, I was hesitant to buy an "off-brand" cable for tethered shooting, as my entire business is based on making sure my images are captured properly. However, this cable has exceeded all of my expectations. This is an exceptionally cheap price for a cable of this length - you'd only get a 10-foot one for a comparable price from any of the big names. So far so good!
That being said, as with all cables, you should test your new hardware thoroughly before using it in a mission-critical application!

Pros: Excellent price, length, works flawlessly
Cons: None I can think of.
Let's me replace 4 15' active usb cables, each one registering as a hub on the system. Running keyboard, 2 mouses, 2 hubs, midi interface, midi keyboard, and more all through this one cable.

All I needed

Pros: Cable is long. It works perfectly as advertised, and it appears to be well built.
Cons: I wish there was free shipping...
I recently got an xbox 360 with the bundled kinect (the slim). Upon getting it, I didn't know how to get the kinect to work in my studio, where all my entertainment equipment is all the way in the back of the room, and the image is produced my a projector. I decided to get this AND an AC adapter for the kinect. So, the AC adapter (available elsewhere) connects to the proprietary microsoft kinect cable and then allows me to connect a USB cable between the kinect and the xbox. Perfect.

Pros: Worked perfectly in my classroom, allowing me to place the printer closer to where the students needed it, and clearing the clutter off of my desk in the process. The quality was outstanding, and the customer support that I needed when trying to select the appropriate cable was without equal - the technicians really know their products well. On top of all of that, the price was well within my budget!
Cons: None.

Works Great for many devices
|
Pros: Tough cable. Nice small connectors
Cons: None.
I used this to extend a Microsoft Life Cam Pro HD over 75' and the signal is perfect. I used this 65' cable + another smaller regular usb extension cable. I keep my server in another room and I wanted a web cam over my big screen for skype'n. The Life cam is a power is a power hungry beast but this cable extender was able to supply it's needs no problem. There is no noticeable delay in the signal and setup is literally plug and play. Great price. Love you monoprice!

worth it
|
Pros: used this for a PS3 move that was 60ft. away from the console. Did wonders, you couldn't tell the difference between the extender and the standard connection.
Cons: none
Got the job done for me

Pros: Works perfect.
No delay.
No additional power/hub needed.
Cons: None for my use.
I could see some people having an issue with the little repeater boxes built into the cable. Depends where your running the cable. Mine happened to be behind my couch so perfect.
I bought this to extend USB from a PC about 60 Feet away from my receiver for my surround sound / entertainment system. Usnig it with a high quality USB sound card on the end to get optical audio from my PC. Works perfect. Very happy with the purchase.

I needed to put my usb camera outside for my weather web site and never having extended a usb cable i was hoping for good results and i was not disappointed. I ordered a second cable for another usb camera and both are working just great. No problems have been seen. If anyone needs to extend a usb connection this is the one for you. Plus you can not beat the price you get from Monoprice and delivery was great.

Pros: This was a better choice for me than the USB-to-Cat5 extender.
Cons: None really.
I was able to extend the keyboard and mouse from a DVR video server in the next room into my office without having to use the remote client software on another dedicated computer. This saved me money and the headaches from using the remote client software that didn't work very well.
Adding an additional 3-foot USB cable gave me just the right length for this custom installation that included in-wall and in-ceiling cable runs.

I needed to extend the USB antenna/receiver of a wireless keyboard to the other side of my house. I knew about the 5m/16ft USB cable length limit, but then I saw this product at Monoprice. 65ft and it actually works! Problem solved.
