Pros: Good delivery service and good price.
Cons: None. Other that I couldn't find a shorter cable and couldn't find a Thunderbolt to Firewire 800 or 400 adapter cable.
Once again a most satisfactory monoprice purchase. Reasonably fast and priced USPS/CanadaPost shipping, no Canada Customs delay or extra charges added, and arrived in our rural mailbox without any hassles, and at a fraction of the price of other suppliers for the same quality cable. What's not to like about that? Nothing as far as I'm concerned, and I'll again be a returning Canadian customer. Monoprice is a no brainer AFAIC for all kinds of quality Mac compatible stuff and without any stupid exaggerated pricing. And my thanks for that.

Good, but...
|
Pros: Good speed. It works, haven't had any issues transferring data.
Cons: Plugs do not stay in.
Good cabe, but the ends are designed in a way that they do not "click" into ports, as most Firewire 800 cables do. There have been multiple times when a small amount of tension on the cable has caused the cable to pull out of the computer.

I'd just bought a new computer. I used FW400 for my last PC but this one was FW800 only. Monoprice had the cable I needed at an unbeatable price (as usual).

Using it on mac mini along with Drobo, the original cable from Drobo and another one purchased from third party website were flaky and slow, every minor disturbance will cause volume dismount. The opposite with the cable from monoprice, it is sturdy, fast and reliable.

Excellent cables!
|
Well made cables with "Beta" connectors allow you to connect two 2011 iMac computers together and then use "Migration Assistant" to set up/reinstall a second computer in a fraction of the time of the first!

Pros: Cable is well constructed and work as good or better than any store bought on. Price is unheard of so a cable of this quality
Cons: None I can think of.
I have been using Mono Price cable for quite a while now and have never had a problem. Since I bought my first I have never paid the high prices they want in the retail chains. These cables are better quality all the way around and for at least a quarter of the price.
I definitely would buy this cable or any other cable they have to offer.

Fast data transfer cable at an affordable price
|
Pros: Fast data transfer speed.
Excellent price.
Cons: None
Cable shipped very swiftly to my designated shipping address and it worked right out of the box. Now I can transfer files between my Mac computers in lightening speed.
No need to pay hefty amount of money for name brand cables when Monoprice offers the same type of cable for much much more affordable price. Thanks Monoprice!

This item was exactly as described. Pretty simple product, but unbelieveable price! I was unable to find anything in my home town for even half the price of Monoprice's cables. If you are looking for a Firewire 800 cable, this is the place to buy it.

Good cable - the new standard
|
Good cable. Firewire 800 FW800 is the new Mac standard and you should always have one of these on hand for FW800 devices & Macs made since 2008. This is the square connector, not the old style FW400.

Great for Transferring Computers
|
This quality cable worked great for transferring the files from my old computer to my new one. Since it is 9-pin to 9-pin, the speed is super fast (750+ Mbit/s). Monoprice had the lowest price I could find online and shipped it quickly.
