Firewire connectivity success
|
Pros: Connectivity, price, length of cable
Cons: None
Firewire 800/400 cable came as described, works well connecting older Firewire 400 peripherals to newer iMac with Firewire 800 port.

Monoprice is a necessary resource
|
Pros: Price, cable length, quality and availability
Cons: none
I spent a day desperately trying to find a cable over 6' in length locally. I drove to at least four separate stores searching for anything I could use to get my system up and running. The Apple store only sells 6' lengths as does Best Buy. Not to mention the price they charge is rediculous. I came back to MonoPrice and ordered a 10 cable with overnight shipping for half of what Best Buy or the Apple Store was asking for a 6' cable. MonoPrice is a gem.

excellent price - great product
|
Monoprice delivers again.
Got it ahead of time, product as advertised, at a fraction of the cost you see everywhere else.
used to hook up an external firewire HD enclosure to a macbook pro, w/o any issues.

Works
|
It's a cable. It's cheap. It works.
And unlike the more expensive cable I purchased retail that it's replacing, it doesn't drop connection to my drive if I wiggle it.

These cables are hard to find... I love monoprice.com.. their prices are amazing and they are easy to work with... I will definitely be ordering from them again....
