Works Great
|
Pros: Obtained this iLink cable to interconnect a used DV camcorder I snagged to my desktop PC. Price was right and works great. Solid connection on both ends - a previous cable I had was fussy on the camcorder end.
Cons: Non
Monoprice is my first stop for reasonably priced cables. This iLink cable met the same 'bang for the buck' criteria as the other cables I've purchased from Monoprice. That's why I keep coming back.

Deeeelight

Pros: These cables are fantastic. They are cheap, top quality, and exactly what the doctor ordered. Can't say enough great things about Monoprice gear in general =)
Cons: The monoprice web page itself has a pretty lousy search function, which made it harder than necessary to find this excellent procduct.
Top notch, affordable, reliable, LOVIN IT!

I also have a problem with the 6pin connection being too short. It won''t snap on tightly to my laptop connection, and easily slips out when importing video.

Nice cable, nice price, shipped quick-BUT, one problem, the male end 6pin is too short, does not get a firm ''snap'', well fit into my macbook firewire port, so the cable flops out with a little movement. I looked at other male FW ends and this is almost 1/4 too short. I am going to take a chance and order another and hope its longer-not worth my time to return it.

Ten feet of firewire cable for an incredible price. How can you go wrong? Works great, no problems. I use it between my computer & Sony Handycam and with 10ft I can move it around freely.
