Great wires and customer service
Pros: Great quality as evidenced by its thickness and great picture quality despite its length.

Cons: Thickness of the wire can make it difficult to manipulate wire but was not a great detractor for me.

This is my second wire from Monoprice. The first wire died after a year, which was tough given the size, expense and the fact that it was buried in my wall. It was awesome that the wires have a lifetime warranty and I have to say Monoprice's customer service was great through it all. The only hard part was fishing the wire out and getting the new one in. Otherwise given the length and obvious quality of the wire (despite what I think was bad luck from the prior wire dying) I highly recommend this wire. The price cannot be beat and the picture quality is great even with the length that it is at. I looked around and many reviews on Amazon in regard to other HDMI manufacturers claim poorer image quality with longer wires. Not at all with this one. The image is similar with a shorter wire, comparatively. People complain about the thickness but if you are running this thing behind the wall you want something sturdy, IMO. A thinner, flimsier wire would be easier to fish but honestly it was not an issue with me.

Pros: I ran this cable 45' in ceiling/wall in new construction and the A/V quality performs as advertised and as expected at a fraction of the cost of many other suppliers. As many others have commented, this cable is thick - probably 1/2"-5/8" dia - it's 22AWG with plenty of shielding - however installation is no more difficult than working with 12 or 14 AWG Romex (electrical) cable. The girth of the cable will force the installer to make large radius turns. When connecting to the receiver a port saver might come in handy. Fast shipping. Great cust. svc.

Pros: Heavy duty
Worked like a charm
Provides high quality video and sound over single cable

Cons: The cable is physically heavy and can come loose from either the TV or DVD player

I used this cable to connect a TV to a remote DVD player. The DVD player needed to be close to the amplifier and network/router to provide interactive content and surround sound. Installtion took most of the day as the cable had to go thru an exterior wall down to a crawl space and back up thru the floor. Once it was installed the pictue and sound are great and based on the heavy duty nature of the cable it should last forever...or at least until the next new technology comes along.

The cable works fine but I gave it a middle rating for one reason. It is impossible to bend due to the thickness of the jacket. I used it for a flat panel tv and when mounted on the wall, coudln't plug it in. I had to get a right angle adaptor, and then make a big loop around to get it to go down into the wall. It's condustors are no larger than any other cables and so the girth of the cable is due to the size of the outer jacket. The stiffness of the cable also causes it to become loose in the connector. Finally, I had it plugged into a Monoprice switcher which is a fairly light and small piece. It won't sit straight in the stack as the cable forces it to move. It won't even sit flat. Due to the angle of the cable coming out of the wall i wound up putting the switcher on it's side. ]

No complaints about picture or sound.

You can't find a better cable at this price
This cable is awsome! Great quality and you can't beat the price! The cable has to be 1/2 inch thick and gold plated conectors.I will never waste my money on MONSTER cable again. And my picture on my epson 8100 is perfect!

Thanks monoprice

Works great
Heavy duty and appears to be quality construction - thicker than your standard HDMI cable (the connectors are the same). 2 weeks of use - flawless picture.
I am using it to have the same picture from the DVR in the living room on the TV in the bedroom.

Excellant product
This product was every thing I expected. Quality, that is in my opinion far superior to "Monster" brand products that are obscenely over priced.

Works great
I ran this from my HTPC in the garage to the TV inside, and it works fine at 1080i. Be sure you don't need to go around any tight corners - this is very thick cable and doesn't bend easily.

Perfect quality between my AV Receiver and LCD projector
I am using this cable to connect a Harman Kardon AVR 2600 to an Epson Home Cinema 8100 LCD projector. I was a little concerned about having signal problems due to the length of this HDMI cable, but my images are 100% perfect.

The cable is pretty think and will not easily bend, but I guess that's the acceptable downside of getting a 45 ft cable. I would definitely buy this again.

Works
All sorts of people told me a run over 30 feet would cuase issues and to use an expensive HDMI cable. An engineer on AVSForums said if it is HDMI certified it has to work simple as that. Well 45 feet from a PTAE4000 projector to my Denon 3808 worked. Simple as that. Oh and at about 1/8th the cost.

Flat Cable Superior for Installations in walls
The flat HDMI cable is far easier to install and the performance is great at 30 feet.
I had difficulty with the round chord and had to return because of a defective HDMI connector. But it was a blessing in disguise, since I was able to return it and select the flat cable which is much easier to work with.
Thanks to Monoprice for their great selections and prices. I could never have done this project without this source for materials.
Kudos to the staff for their remarkable customer service.

Flawless picture and sound!
After mounting the flat panel TV over the fireplace I needed to relocate the cable box, XBOX 360, and a PC with HDMI video downstairs. In order to reach I needed a 45' cable but was concerned if I would have problems with the picture or sound. I was pleasantly surprised that it works perfect! I have this connected to a (4088) 4x1 HDMI switch so I can now display HDMI from the cable box, XBOX 360, and the PC. Luckily the distance is just within range so the wireless joysticks for the XBOX 360 still work and I have a wireless keyboard/mouse for the PC which also work. The only issue I ran into was with a shorter jumper cable when connecting the XBOX but that had nothing to do with this cable and was fixed by using another short HDMI cable for the XBOX.

This cable is fairly thick so you'll want to uncoil it before trying to install it. In my case I had to go up into the attic, over several feet, then down a wall and into the basement. It was the only way it could be run and is why I needed the extra length. I was relived that there was an affordable cable that worked out so well.

Cables working great!
Purchased the 45' 4035 cable along with two 3951 short cables and two 2730 wall plates. Plugged them all together between the surround and the projector and it's working perfectly at 1080p. Couldn't be happier unless the cables were to magically fish themselves through the walls from one side of the room to the other, but I guess I'll have to work on that myself...

Great product - for the 2nd time!
This is the second time i've purchased the 22 AWG HDMI cable and it is flawless (1x 45' and 1x50'). It's a thick cable and extremely durable - I have no doubt this cable will last the lifetime of my house!

Great product
Do what is supposed to do, support 1080p and all for me.
Only thing, i didnt thought the cable was that thick, hard to manipulate and bend to an S to fit at the back of projector without stress on connection.
Might should have take smaller gauge.
But the product is great.
