Crystal clear super beefy cables!
|
Pros: Super Beefy cables.
Nice strain relief.
The price is unreal.
Cons: None yet.
I'm using these cables to run from my Digi002 rack to my Hosa reference monitors.
Crystal clear sound with very minimal noise. These balanced cables are much quieter than the 1/4" TS cables I had been using.
If they hold up and last, these will be the best value in cables you can buy.
Really beefy size, and seem to be constructed well.

Pros: Cable quality is just as good as any other cable from Monoprice.
Cons: Pins on the male connector are badly misaligned.
Of all the products I've purchased from Monoprice (which is a lot), their XLR cables are the only thing I've been disappointed with. Specifically, the pins on the male XLR connectors are pretty consistently out of alignment. Some of them have so bad that they won't mate with a female connector. This seems to be a systemic problem, as I've had several cables with this issue.

Sorry about the problems you are running into with our XLR cables. I will notify our Product Team about this so they can review and test the cables. If you like I can issue a replacement for those cables that aren't aligned properly or if you want I can issue an RMA for a return. I would just need an order number to get the process started. I've managed to re-align the pins, and I'm currently using the cables without any problems, so a replacement isn't necessary. Thanks anyway.

Quality Cables
|
Pros: solid build quality, heavy duty yet flexible cable.
Cons: one XLR end was a very tight fit . . . but worked
I use these to connect a frequency analyzer (mono 1/4" TRS outputs) to a parametric equalizer (balanced XLR inputs), they worked fine for that purpose.

Great audio cables
|
Pros: - Simple design
- Gold plate
- Great, clean signal
Cons: - Not quite as solid as some high-end XLR cables.
Using them from a Focusrite Saffire Pro24 to Mackie HR624's comparable to my Neutrik XLR cables in sound quality. Would highly recommend for someone with a home studio or for live sets.
Very happy I'm not spending $20 at the local music store for a basic cable. Only wish there was a Canadian outlet.

Pros: everything worked great mono price has another customer for life i love the cables use them everyday and nothing has gone wrong with them gotta love the mono products for every reason would buy from them with out a dought. Keep it up monoprice

Cable works just like it should. leave it to mono price to have that cable you are looking for. I just wish i would have gotten a longer one.

I order the Premier Series XLR Male to 1/4inch TRS Male 16AWG Cable - Gold Plated - 10ft. Ordered on Nov 4 and received on Nov 7. Fast delivery. The cable is very high quality. Any other retailer would charge at least 40 dollars for the same cable. I buy all my cable needs from Monoprice. I purchased three HDMI cables and was really surprised at the heavy duty construction of these calbes. I then purchased four RCA cables for my video system and karaoke system. Great cables.
