Good idea, but not unreliable 1/4
|
Pros: Great price, useful cable size and type, good XLR connector, great wire.
Cons: 1/4" connector can break easily
I have owned two of these for about 6 months and have used them occasionally at performances and recording sessions over that time. I'm very careful with my gear (i have to be since i perform with a laptop and one-of-a-kind electronic controllers).
After about 6 months of this occasional use, the ring of the 1/4" connector on one has separated from the rest of the connector. Now it rotates independently, and the cable's electrical ground connection is intermittent, with lots of crackles in the audio. This is something i've seen very cheap 1/4" plugs do in the past and it makes me wary of buying any more pro cables from monoprice with 1/4" connectors. If any more of the 6 or so i have break, i'll be looking for a new source of reasonably priced 1/4" connectors and cables :(

Pros: Good quality products at very cheap prices
Cons: None
Once again Monoprice comes through with flying colors. The quality of the product is excellent and their prices are the best. Product arrived quickly. I'm very impressed with this company.

Pros: Quality cable...
Good connectors...
No signal loss...
I have 12 of these now and no issues! They work perfectly with the 1/4" Monitor outs on my Presonus Studiolive Consoles...

Great for use as an adapter to go from my audio interface's 1/4" outputs to XLRs for house sound on stage or to go to my powered monitors for small shows. These little cables are as cheap or cheaper than your standard all-metal 1/4"-to-XLR adapters, and much less bulky and more flexible. Matter of fact, the 1/4" jacks on my audio interface are so colse together than normal rigid XLR-1/4" adapters don't fit side by side - so this cable is a good solution for compact gear.

XLR to 1/4" patch cable

Pros: Great build Construction, Cheap, "Balanced" cable (3 Pin to TRS, not 2 Pin to TS).
Cons: Packaging was a badly damaged and not as well wrapped as other orders I have purchased from MP, so that was disappointing, but the product was in Excellent condition regardless.
I didn't buy 16 instead of 8. :(
Great Product. I normally make my own 1/4" to XLR cables, however these were cheaper to buy than the components alone for me to build my own. Well constructed and very low noise. Used to connect Preamplifiers to an analog to digital converter.

|
Pros: Works perfectly. Fits perfectly.
Cons: None
Exactly as described. Use these every couple of weeks with a new mixer I just picked up. They perform perfectly and have given me no issues at all.

Great Cable
|
I love this chord. im using it to come out of my sound board to go to a snake and this cable is really solid stuff. No problems at all and very solidly built. i really doubt there is somethin better out there

Works great, real good quality, holds up to constant use. We use it on a mixer for monitor output via Auxiliary. Before we had this adapter mess that was put stress on our snake.
