Great Cable Great Price
|
Pros: First lets start out by saying Mono Price is a Great company to do business with, second this cable works perfectly, HDMI @ 75 ft. I used this to connect my desktop to my Denon AVR about 60 ft away. However it is recommended you also use port pigtails to connect to your equipment, Product ID: 2891 they will make thing go very smooth.

Nice cable for the money
|
Pros: No signal degradation over a long run. Substantial insulation. Tight fitting plugs. Good price. 'Nuff said.
Installed this cable to operate a secondary TV in the customers craft room from their main DBS satellite receiver. Down the rabbit hole, through the crawl space, through a window into the basement, over heating ductwork, through joist supports, through another hole in the floor and though two more in the cabinet: I was not gentle with it and it works great. No artifacts in the picture after 75'? Works for me!

Great cable, performs flawlessly
|
This cable is thicker than anything you likely have at your house and is difficult to bend, but it was not as difficult as the reviews had led me to believe. It performs flawlessly with my dvd player as well as my satellite reciever.

We purchased the 75ft. cable to hook up our 46" flat screen HD TV outside on our covered patio. The cable was very stiff, but we were still able to form it around our window and door trims and feed it back into the house to hook up to our DVR box from Dish Network. Have not really noticed any picture quality issues with this length of cable run, which we were told that we would by the guy at BestBuy who said we'd have to have another DVR box from Dish to hook up our TV outside. Thanks to monoprice's reviews, we were able to pick the right accessories to hoop up our HD TV.

HDMI cables excellent
|
I have used the 50, 75, and 100 ft cables from monoprice and haven't had any issues with any of the cables. There is a lot of literature about the length of HDMI cables and I was definitely skeptical about the quality and signal degradation. If you are reading this, trust me, you'll be ok. These cables are more than worth it.

|
Was banking on this really long HDMI cable for a church project. But had heard mixed stories about HDMI at this length. This cable performs perfectly using an HDMI matrix that supports cable lengths up to ~100'.
Cable is quite thick which brings pros and cons. Pros: it works at 75'. Cons: difficult to work with as it does not want to twist nor bend. And in my case it eats up a big portion of the available conduit space.
But all in all I'd give it an A+.

I've had these in use for over a year, and there have been no issues. I was impressed with the quality, but was skeptical that such a long cable would work. The picture is great. DO NOT BUY the overpriced cables from the retail chains.

it works (and works well)

I purchased this cable to run HDMI out from my PC to my 55" HDTV. This cable worked out perfectly. It outputs at full 1080p and produces a crisp and clean picture. I have read the audio and video go out of sync with long hdmi runs but that doesn't occur with this cable. Be sure to buy the port savers if you buy this cable because the gauge is so fat that a direct hookup could damage your port.

Works great! When it arrived I was a bit surprised how thick the cable actually was. You can't really tell by a picture, and if you aren't familiar with how thick 22AWG is, you might be surprised. Nevertheless, it works exactly as described. Quality is great.

HAD TO SEE IT, TO BELEIVE IT
|
Hooked up one end to my laptop, the other end to a monitor. Set my resolution to 1920x1200...and voila! IT WORKS!
I even played some Call Of Duty Modern Warfare using this configuration. NO ISSUES!
NO COMPLAINTS!

I was skeptical buying such a long HDMI cable for such a low price, but after about one month of use, I am more than pleased with my purchase. I have been told not to buy cheap HDMI cables longer than 50 feet because the picture quality is greatly diminished, but after watching several Bluray movies and hours of HDTV, I am glad to say that the picture is truly HD and just as sharp as I had hoped. Hopefully the cable keeps working like a champ. It astounds me that I was able to get a 75 ft HDMI cable for the price of most 6 or 8 ft HDMI cables.

Great products from a great company
|
This is not my first order and sure want be my last. I used this cable to connect satillite to my bedroom tv through a 4x2 switcher that I also purchase from Monoprice. Every item has always been of the highest quality. I have never had any problems with anything I've ordered and I always enjoy there fast service.

Excellent cable
|
I just bought a new projector so I needed a good quality HDMI cable. I knew I needed a very long cable due to the configuration of my theater but I pretty much assumed I'd have to get a repeater to handle the distance. I had bought several cables from monoprice previously and they've always been great quality at a great price. Based on the existing reviews I decided to give it a shot. All I can say is Wow! This is a fantastic cable. Perfect picture. Couldn't be more pleased.

Long HDMI Cable Purchase
|
I am very pleased to be able to provide this review. I purchased a new high definition TV and then learned that the wiring I had placed when I built my house was already outdated 5 years later. I now needed a 75' HDMI cable. I checked with the local stores and they didn't have any that long and what they did have was in excess of 150.00. I checked with my technology guy and he said that I could get exactly what I needed from Monoprice for a very fair price. I thought I was going to have to pay at least 200 for a 75' cable. Monoprice was one third of that price and their service was outstanding.
After I wired my new TV I decided to get a new high definition DVD player. If the HDMI cable had been 200 I would not have been able to purchase the new DVD player for 200. Instead - I went back to Monoprice and ordered a second 75"HDMI cable for my new DVD player.
So instead of paying 200 for one cable I was able to get two cables and the DVD player for 330. The quality of my TV images is exceptional due to the quality of the HDMI cables. I could not be more pleased with Monoprice and I will share their site info with my friends.
Great job Monoprice.

Be Warned!
|
This is very thick cable. If you have to slide it through conduit in the walls, better buy some electrical slime to get it through. Very well built cable and MUCH cheaper than the Monster cable i was about to buy. Monster was $399 for 50' and $499 for 75'.

Superb
|
I gave the cable quite a beating installing it and it still works flawlessly. Picture looks great. I used the port saver as others have mentioned. Didn't need one coming from the receiver, but with a low clearance wall mount you will definitely wish you had a port saver.

One con: this cable is so thick it made it difficult to connect to my Sat receiver. The receiver is in a shallow cabinet and I had to massage the cable a bit to connect it to the 722. So really everything worked out well.
Decent price and quick 4 day delivery from Ca to NY.
Now I am waiting for Monoprice's Matrix Switch/Splitter to become available.

Don't waste your time shopping, you won't find a better price. The retail stores will tell you this cable won't work, but obviously they think someone would actually pay what they are asking for the same cable.

Wow - Great Cable
|
The reviews here are all correct. The quality of this HDMI cable is phenomenal. I cannot imagine a higher quality cable at any price. I followed the advice of others and ordered two of the port savers (ID 2891). Well worth the extra 6 bucks. The main cable is so thick that getting it attached to the source or monitor could be tricky. These port savers do the trick.

Ive been very impressed with the quality and price of the HDMI cables from monoprice. Currently, Ive got it connected to an Optoma HD72 pj and a Monoprice 4X1 Enhanced HDMI Switch with built-in Equalizer REV.2.5 (prod id 2721 now replaced with 4088). In a previous setup, I had a nested connection comprised of the pj and switch, as well as a Monoprice 1x2 powered HDMI splitter (prod id 3049) and HDMI Active Equalizer Extender Repeater - Extend Upto 100FT (prod id 2849). Worked as expected in that setup, too.

I was needing a 75 ft hdmi cable, after looking at many retail stores, price seemed so inflated, I was talking to another shopper and asked him if he knew alittle about HDMI, he got on his phone and asked his buddy where they had bought there cables, he also said my jaw would drop when comparing price......I now have my cable, quality is great, no degrading in picture and I had it in 5 days......Best Kept Secret......We need to change that !

Fantastic Cable
|
Contrary to what many installers will tell you, this length works and works well. Picture quality is excellent. No problems with satellite or BluRAy DVD signal. Installer noted that this is the highest quality cable he has ever seen. Cable is thick and heavy. Make sure cable is not weighing down the input port or you may damage your equipment over time.

Wow! I was able to run 1080p/60Hz successfully from a PS3 to a Samsung 63 1080p plasma. This is amazing performance for the price. I cannot verify whether full HDMI 1.3b specs are being met (nor is it advertised as such), but I got an instant picture and sound @ 75 and 1080p/60 from the PS3 and a BluRay movie.
I do echo the comments about the stiffness/lack of flexibility of this cable. Its meant for long runs and durability for permanent installations. You will need some way to support these at your ports so that they dont hang directly on the connector.
The cable is also really stiff in twist/torsion, so clocking it to the ports takes some effort or planning/coiling. Trying to overcome anything more than a 45 degree twist misalignment is a chore unless you have some extra length to work with (or a Port Saver).
I HIGHLY recommend the Monoprice HDMI Port Saver (PID 2891) if you have anything less than a 10 bend radius or 2 ft. of available coil to properly orient the plug.

Does a good job. Price is right. Diplay looks great in FULL HD.
But 2 things.
1. It will take 2 people to pull this through existing walls, top plates, etc. The thing is coiled tight for shipment making it difficult to pull alone, and is not flexible.
2. If you are thinking about running this directly to your display device, think twice. As thick and non-flexible as this cable is, without 7-10 inches of space to hide the bend, it''s going to stick out and show. Needs to stay in the wall, out of sight.
Otherwise, for long runs, this is a good cable.

Used to run HDMI source (in-wall/ceiling) from computer to LCD HDTV in retail store. Display looks great. Cable is very heavy duty, so beware of the connectors. I will be needing port savers for the TV side connection due to the wall mounting requiring the cables to be bent in a U-shape. Heavy and thick cables look like they strain the HDMI jack.

Well Worth the Money
|
This product work awesome. I went to several locations looking for a long length of hdmi cable and was told over and over that I would not be able to runa length of cable that long and if I could locate one I would pay a clean fortune.
I ordered the cable with taking a chance that it would not work bit willing to try. I am glad that I did. The cable works wonderful. As expected it does not corner very well because of its large size...but I expected that. I would recommend this cable for anyone looking to place a tv in remote location,
That being siad I did not check the quality of the signal with movies etc as for my use I am only viewing pictures, and didgital signage.

75 of HDMI. I was skeptical if it would work, but it does!
This cable is extra thick and pretty inflexible. Be sure you have room to make turns, it doesnt bend easily.
