Pros: I love deaing with Monoprice. I recomend you to everyone. I believe your products are superior to what I can get in retail outlets and your prices are great.
Cons: My most recent orders for the OTOS and the HDMI cables resulted in cables that were much larger then I anticipated. Since I was feeding theses thru a short section of wall the size cause problems. However all is well that ends well. I suggest that you have addiotnal pictures (somehow) displaying actual size (diameter) or the cables. This is a small Con however and I will continue to use and recomment Monoprice for all of my cable needs.

Product Rejection
|
Pros: None
Cons: Cable was wrong type. It was too heavy guage for use intended. There was too little information to aid the choice of product.
The product was inappropriate for the use intended and had to be returned. I spent money on shipments and ended up having to buy elsewhere (Wal-Mart). I accept some responsibility for this situation but more information on the Monoprice web site may have avoided this problem.

No problems with this thing

Pros: It works as advertised. It's a heavy duty cable, very thick, you can tell it's built to last. The picture produced from my laptop to my tv is just as sharp as any other cable I've used. Full 1080p resolution is what I use. I've also used 720p, and it looks just fine too.
Cons: This cable might be thicker than what some people want, but, I didn't want one that would fall apart. It does not flex easy, so if you're trying to do a pretty cable job behind your TV, this may not be what you want.

this cable is HUGE! it as thick as my pinky (look at your hand and think about how thick that is) I was using this on a projector that would not display with two of mono prices 6ft cables (3992) connected together (with a non-monoprice coupler), but works great with it's 25ft length and the extra 6ft from a 6ft monoprice cable, the very same that I cannot couple... so for me there is less loss in this 25ft cable then a 6ft cable (3992)

-All connections are protected with caps during shipping.
Cons: None that I can see.
Great quality cable. Really thick, about as thick as my pinky so therefor is somewhat stiff. Make sure you have some room between your device and the wall. No problems for me since I had all this in mind.

Pros: This cable was very inexpensive. Dont waste your money buying HDMI cables from the local storethey are such a rip-off !! Monoprice shipped my order the same day.
Its a very thick cable for low loss.
Cons: None.
Used this HDMI cable for my outdoor patio HDTV. The picture is perfect. The cable is 25 feet long & its REALLY thick ! It rolls up easily for storage. I can move my TV anywhere on the patio for the best view during the Day/Sunlight and during firepit burning at night.

The cable was defective and did not work. I had a company come to my home to pull the cable in wall and hook up TV/cable box. Because the cable was defective I had to pay two service calls to the company installing my equipment. This was quite costly. I will not order anything from this company again.

Pros: Quality of signal is perfect with a 25 foot run. Heavy duty casing, easy to run through exsisting walls.
Cons: Cabeling very weighty on connections.
Locking connections would be the only improvement needed. Reducing the stress at the connection because heavy duty cabeling. Overall very pleased with product.

Cons: Very thick, stiff shielding - hard to run in walls if that is your intention
Overall the cable seems really nice quality. It is very stiff, so if you intend to run it in a wall to a port or socket, the strain relief on the ends won't hardly bend. It would be great as a direct-bury cable.

Heavy duty cable
|
Pros: Good heavy cable that provides an excellent picture
This is a heavy gauge and thick cable that carries a great signal to the remote room TV. It's somewhat inflexible in terms of running it at an angle, but that's expected for this gauge. Had to cut bigger holes in the floor to get the HDMI plug through, but it's well worth the little time needed to do that.

Pros: Construction, quality of components, delivery of perfect signal.
Cons: This is a very thick and unyielding cable.
Great choice when quality and durability are paramount. Not necessarily the best choice for carrying around with portable gear because of the cable's overall size when coiled for storage and its very stiff nature. For a fixed installation, I'd give this cable a 10 without reservation.

Nothing wrong with this cable. Just be aware that it's really thick - cable diameter is about 0.45" / 11.5mm, a bit smaller than my little finger. I understand why but it can get unwieldy if you need it for a presentation or other situation where it's not tucked behind a rack of equipment.

Fails under tension

Pros: Good Cable, Inexpensive
Cons: Doesn't like to bend, especially near the connector.
My connector failed after several months and about 10 repetitions of plugging and unplugging the connector into a tuner over that period of time. Cause: the male connector came loose in it's casing. Cable was bent about 90 degrees in about 5 inches of clear space, this put to much tension on the connector. This is a 22AWG, so it's thick, and it wasn't probably super prudent to connect is like that...but that's border line debatable. so plan accordingly, get a port saver or make sure you have enough space.

Pros: Great heavy cable. I was concerned with the possibility of a lag in the audio. There was no issue.
Cons: The cable is a little heavy, so if you have it just hanging from the input you could end up with a loose connection and a short. I used some nifty wire ties to support it and all is good.
What more can I say. Monoprice has great quality at outstanding prices. I hope they never change.

Pros: Excellent cable for an amazing price when compared to retail or other online sites. I am not a videophile, but cable performance is apparently very good as I see no problems at 1080p.
Cons: Cable is a little bulky and stiff due to the shielding, but it didn't cause any real problems in my installation.
No problem with buying another.

No signal from cable

Cons: -Cable failed 3 days after install
This hdmi cable worked fine on testing. After installing in a wall into the basement and up the opposing wall into the AV reciever, the cable carried the signal. Three days after installation, I was not getting a signal from the hdmi cable any longer. A blu-ray player placed under the TV with a short hdmi cable worked fine but the new installed cable failed. I ordered a new cable and it is now working fine.

Cables work great... be careful though... you need to have a straight shot going into your tv or blu-ray / etc or you can bend the connector ends very easily. Works best with right angle connectors where necessary. I would buy these again, however.

Great cable but be prepared. This isn't a lightweight. This baby could be laid across a parking lot and driven over, I believe. Make sure you don't have tight corners to negotiate, which I don't. Works flawlessly and Monoprice was great as well.

Excellent Long High Speed Cable

Pros: Seems to be very nice, heavy duty, high quality construction. No visible signal degradation.
Cons: Though it is heavy duty, this could be a downside due to how thick it is and how stiff the connectors are. The connectors don't have thumbscrews for securing it to your device, which would be a nice feature to make up for the stiffness of the cable.
I am using the cable from a receiver (Yamaha RX-A3000) to a 1080p projector (Viewsonic Pro8200). Works flawlessly for being 25 foot cable. It has replaced a good quality 25 foot VGA cable which had a lot of interference at 1080p.

Beast of a cable!

Pros: Delivers what it says - perfect HDMI signal over a run of 25ft.
Cons: Cable is tough to bend given size
Had originally purchased item (8122 - HDMI extender over Cat 6) for a project where I was putting HDTV on wall in one room and putting rest of my Home Theater equipment in another out of sight. When I couldn't get the 8122 to work as needed, had to go with plan B. Moved equipment to a location that was still out of sight but within 25ft of TV location. Purchased this cable and it did the trick - perfectly! Beware that while this is rated for running in-wall - doing so is harder given diameter of this awesome cable. It is not meant (given size of cable) to bend as easily a smaller gauge HDMI cables. Strongly recommend using port savers (which I did) on either end of this cable to not put stress on your HDMI jacks of your TV and other equipment. For the price and the quality - this cannot be beat by anyone - kudos to Monoprice for such a great cable.

Pros: Heavy duty cable, seems to stand up to normal and high use wear. No problems with the quality of the video or Audio going to my Samsung LED HD TV.
Cons: A little stiff, since it has a heavy cover. Could cause stress on the device connector, if customer is not bending and shaping cable to eliminate that stress.
I would recommend this product. The high quality and the low price make this product a "must have" for anyone who is connecting a new HDMI device.

Great cables. You will most certainly want to buy the port-savers for both ends unless you have a lot of room for a good bend-radius. I had no room on either end and needed prot-savers for both the TV and the box.

This POS broke in less than 3 months

Pros: Good price. Long length. Works well when it does work.
Cons: Horrible to work with due to its extra-thick build. The cable requires so much torquing to get it in place that I was always afraid of breaking it. 3 months after buying the cable I bought a new receiver and had to reposition the cable to get it in place and my worst fears about the cable came true. the cable now only outputs 1920x1 or 1920x32 or 1920x1000, but it never displays 1920x1080. Even hooking the cable directly to my components it still has problems. If I hook it up to my bluray it will display a 1080p signal, but intermittently it flashes a bunch of snowing images on the screen. This is particularly awesome since I ran the cable behind my drywall.
I've confirmed that it is indeed the cable by hooking different cables up to my projector and up to my receiver and they all work well. Now I get to rip drywall out and replace the cable.

Sturdy cable
|
Pros: Great cable for long runs. Very well built.
Sturdy cxable great for long runs. It is a heavy cable so it won't do tight turns. Used it in combination with port savers and coupled with more flexible 6ft cable. Works great.

Pros: It works!
We were in a hurry and purchased cables at a local store, all three cabled had problems on high resolutions.
We purchased another three of equal length from Monoprice.com and can now go max resolution on all three computers with no problems. Once again Monoprice.com had the best product for the best price.

Monoprice Rules
|
Pros: Everything Monoprice has is top quality at rock bottom prices. DO Not hesitate to buy from these folks, you will kick yourself for buying anywhere else. Customer service if you get something wrong or have a question is OUTSTANDING (Emmanuel Raya really helped me through this project.)
Cons: NONE
I have been buying cables and accessories from Monoprice for years and I recently upgraded my home theater as my 3 year old KDL-52V4100 died (bad panel.) I decided that I would finish what I had started 3 years ago with a custom install. It was nice but now it is terrific this cable is top quality as is everything at Monoprice, including their customer service.

Great quality cable,, however like most HDMI cables the molding around the HDMI connectors could be thinner to make it easier to fit through a 1" conduit

Wow that's a big cable!
|
Works fine, but it's an extremely thick cable. Way thicker than anything else I've seen. Normally I'd be OK with the thickness, it's just that there seems to be a lot of empty space inside the covering. It isn't tightly wrapped around the inner wires. Makes it feel really cheap, almost like it was home made. It does however, work perfectly fine.

Great cable

Pros: Long, Cheap
Cons: Very Thick
I am running this cable about 20 feet from a switch box to the tv. It works great, no delays. I have it running a cable box, PS3, Bluray, and stereo. The only drawback is how thick it is. You need to really use a large drill bit if you need to run it through wall studs.

Great HDMI Cables
|
Pros: High quality. Great connection to devices.
Cons: I realize this isn't a real con...however just realize that the 22 guage is in reference to each individual wire within the cable itself. I was able to accomidate the size within my walls, however each cable was about as thick as my little finger. In hindsite, I may have chosen a smaller sized wire.
Wouldn't look anywhere else for HDMI cables.

Pros: The quality is exactly what is needed for high definition TV.
Cons: The plastic coating makes the cable a bit hard to conform to tight bends. I should have gotten the 30ft cables.
Overall these HDMI cables are made very well and the picture quality is excellent. I always compare prices and MonoPrice.com offers these high quality cables at the best price that I have found.

Pros: Sturdy feeling.
Perfect for in an in wall cord. I ran this out of an HDMI switch to a wall mounted flatscreen tv. It runs up one wall into the attic and down another wall to the tv.

Great Cables

I needed a couple of 25 foot HDMI cables for my new projector and the store that I bought it from wanted hundreds of dollars for cables this length. A friend of mine turned me on to Monoprice cables in which I ordered two cables for a fraction of the price as the big box store. I was so happy with these cables that I told all of my other friends about this place and will only deal with Monoprice in the future. The cables were very high quality and were as good as the $100+ dollar cables that I had been recommended. Do not hesitate to buy from this site! Thanks Monoprice

Pros: Great cable length , the long length of the cable doesn't affect the quality of the video/audio one bit.
Cons: The only thing that was a "Con" was that I was surprised by the width of the cable, but its nothing that should prevent you from buying this cable.
Overall, it's an amazing cable.

if you want a good quality cable for a cheap price, then get this one. i'm using it to connect my HTPC to my tv, through my A/V unit. All digital signals are delivered without any issues, including DD, DTS audio.

Image & sound transmitted flawlessly
Cons: Cable is pretty thick and not very flexible
I used this to run a 1080p projector from my PC. When I used VGA I got all sorts of nasty image problems over the long cable, but switching to HDMI cleaned it up and it looks beautiful!

Excellent value
|
Pros: Great quality at a low price.
Cons: It wasn't free.
I used this cable to connect my Blu-ray player (BDP-BX57) to my wall mounted Philips LCD. The cable was a bit of a pain to pull through the wall but only because of its thickness. I have no complaints about picture or audio quality at all.

Pros: Great performance, fantastic price
Cons: Very stiff
Running from my A/V receiver to a projector, the quality of video and audio is great. The connector to my receiver is not as snug as I would like, and the stiffness of the thick cable pulls away from the receiver a bit when moved (a rare event, but one to be aware of).

Cons: Heavy guage cable makes for "tough" manipulation at the connection ends.....but doable
The thickness of this cable will also crowd or fill your conduit or duct quickly...if that is an issue.
It is working for me just a much "fatter" "stiffer" cable than expected

I bought this cable to replace an HDMI to cat5 converter that would cause a loss of picture when ever we turned the kitchen lights off. After laying the cable out on the floor and making sure the projector wouldn't have any problems with it I ran it through the conduit where it has been ever since.

Great Cable

Pros: Very well constructed cable.
Cons: Heavy and difficult to bend around tight corners.
This is a very solid and well constructed cable. However, it is very thick and heavy, and difficult to bend. You need to make sure you can line it up straight at least 8 inches from where it will connect, or you could damage the equipment you are connecting to. Once installed, it's terrific.

Pros: Very nice connectors, good insulation, no twists or kinks, order was filled and shipped quickly.
Cons: None.
Picture is GREAT with a 35-foot run from receiver to display. I made the run by putting this 25-foot cable together with a 10-footer with one female end. Would definitely buy again and would recommend monoprice.com to anyone looking to pay the right price for HDMI cables.

Pros: Works great. I take it around the corner from my computer to my TV and it's got great signal quality and everything.
Cons: My one complaint is that it's a little thick to bend around corners. Right now I bend it around a doorframe and I worry I'm putting too much stress on the cable. As well, to close the door I have to step on the cable to press it down so I can get enough clearance for the door to shut. But that's just fine.

Pros: Great product, great price. Long enough to get from my BD player/HDMI switch box to my projector.
Cons: Thick and heavy. Had to install a new covered cable line since it wouldn't fit in with the component video/S-Video cables already there.
I'll do business with monoprice again and again.

I bought from monoprice after buying my first batch of HDMI cables from them when I moved into my new home. I decided to setup a home theater system down my basement and bought this cable to go between my projector and receiver. It was easy to work with considering the gauge of the cable. Also, I have not had any problems with the quality of my picture at all. It looks really good.

Pros: I know I'm bitching but it's a bit thick, I was using on a job from computer to external monitor and the cable is very thick which is good but coiled on the ground which is bad...
I like them for what they are but be prepared as the cable is big which I believe is needed.

Great product and company
|
Pros: Excellent customer service answering any question I had. Quick shipping. Product is excellent. Connections seem to be really good.
Because of my incomplete system setup, I switch the hdmi cable over to three different units the last couple months. The cable is tough as nails and the ends are tight and working well. I am very happy with it. I ordered an extra couple feet longer than I needed so I didn't need to order the elbow adaptors. Great product and company!
