Good product - great service!
|
Pros: Product quality, decent price, and excellent customer service
Cons: None that I can think of.
Although this was a simple, one item order, the product quality is good, the price was reasonable, and it was delivered quickly!

It's all good
|
Pros: fast shipping, great product, reasonable prices
Cons: none
Very happy with all aspects of Monoprice. The quality of everything I have purchased here so far is outstanding, and far less than you'd pay at retail stores or online for that matter.

Great Wire, Great Price
|
Pros: Well manufactured. Good quality
Cons: Poor quality spool
I could really care less about the spool, but thought it should be mentioned for those who may care about trivial things. The quality is where it counts in this product the wire. Recently had an (unrelated) RMA to process with them, (which can be the downfall of lesser companies), could not be happier with their service! That confirmed it, I will be a Monoprice customer forever!

This is exactly what I needed. And the quality of the wire could not be better. If I had one thing to improve it would be the box. I had problems getting the wire to come off the spool. This was a small issue. It may have even been my error. I am not a pro so I do not know the tricks. :) I Plan to buy more of this to finish the rest of my home audio / theater install.

Great Product (spool needs work!)
|
I would have given this a 10, but the very low quality wire spool gave us fits as we ran hundreds of feet of cable.
Anyway, we're building a 3500 sq ft house and used this wire to prewire numerous rooms for in-ceiling, stereo speakers and impedance-matching volume controls. So being able to pull four cables in one run was extremely convenient.
The cable itself is exactly as promised - durable, high-quality, etc. The 14/4 saved us a great bit of time over 14/2.
But as soon as we began to pull wire, the cardboard spool came apart and created a large, heavy, jumbled mess. We worked through it, but it would be nice to see a spool that was glued together so the wire would never have a chance to fall off the spool prematurely.
Here's a tip on how we worked through the issue: before you begin to pull wire, take a spool out of its box, remove the plastic wrapping, and then put it BACK in its box. Then, re-close the box (with the spool inside), placing the box's flaps OVER one another. That will "tighten" the box over the spool.
Then wrap the box with duct tape so it tightens over the spool as much as possible. Finally, cut a hole in any one corner of the box, and pull your wire thru that. With the snug fit, it will keep the sides of the spool tight, but the "axis" of the spool will spin freely, allowing you to pull the wire without tangle.

cable works great
|
This cable works fine just as all of the monoprice parts have worked well in the past. Truly amazed at the quality of the products and how inexpensive the price.

Perfectly good cable at a great price. I've used a few spools so far and they pay out very smoothly and the sheathing runs as well as anything else I've used.
