Connections were a little tight for me to push in. Had to have a male friend do it for me. But works perfectly for the task.

Pros: great price fast service and the cable was high quality.
Cons: none
great price , have no problems with the product told all my friends about monoprice. Will order in the future thats for sure.

Does what it should.
|
Pros: Provides a great HD signal to the TV.
Cons: Such a heavy duty cable it required quite a large hole to be drilled in a wall I ran it through.
Needed this for a long run to a 22" HDTV in my workout room. Bigger cable than I expected and may be overkill but the HD signal to the TV is great. Very happy with Monoprice selection, service and prices.

Pros: Quality
Cons: Flexibility
Awesome cable for a lot less than other places wanted for lesser quality. I was amazed at the quality when the package arrived. Ran wires through the wall for a new HD TV Install. I had to split the 5 wires into separate feeds to get them all to feed and bend on their own. Once separated, they fit nicely through the wall and were flexible enough to be able to hide behind the TV for a cleaner looking setup.

Pros: Great weight and interference protection ends look great.
Cons: Cable is very stiff and large/cumbersome, making it difficult to have a hole big enough for the cables, plus to get the cables up and down walls they kept curling up and staying in one place on the descent. This is expected, though.
These cables work great right now I only really use the L/R audio connections I wanted to have 3 other connections available in case I thought of anything else (such as a mic to my computer or a headphone amp from my stereo) as I have my components in my closet and my monitor/keyboard in my room.

Good value
|
Cables are very thick...probably good for signal quality, but difficult to squeeze/bend in a cabinet. Overall a good buy.

Video and Audio cable
|
This is a great cable and worked perfectly.
Note that this is a component video AND audio cable in one, so there are 5 cables/connectors.
I wish I'd noticed this when I ordered as I did not need to run audio to my projector.
I ended up separating the 2 Audio cables from the bundle. It was easy enough, but felt wasteful.
I'm sure I could have found another cable (on Monoprice even) that did not include the audio cables.
Cables themselves are wonderful. No complaints, but if you don't need the audio and video cables in one bundle, look for a video-only cable.

Installed, Inwall and Racetrack
|
Cables are thick, high quality and stiff this means you will need to plan the layout so there are no bends less than 3 inches in diameter. The RCA connectors are molded on to ensure that will not come loose and that the solder connections won’t oxidize.
Though still good, the analog audio cables seem to be of a lower quality than the video cables. I haven’t tested to see if there are any issues running digital audio over these connections.

This set of cables is THICK so be warned. It's bundled as a flat cable with each strand next to each other. It's very easy to cut the binding straps and separate the individual cables if needed. I used this on my Samsung 8500 LED TV and the connectors that go into the TV are VERY loose. I had to bend the connectors slightly but they fit perfectly in other components without adjustments so I think this is a problem with the TV.

Monoprice does it again
|
As with all my home theater cables, I searched and searched to find the best price with the highest quality available. Monoprice did it again with their PREMIUM 25FT 5-RCA Component Video/Audio Coaxial RG-6 18AWG 75Ohm CL2 Rated Cable. The connectors are soldered then epoxied to ensure a quality connection and resist strain. The appearance of this cable is awesome, it has 24k gold terminals and full aluminum connector bodies. Monoprice is your on stop store for any cable needs.

I will never buy cables from anywhere else. I bought several different cables for my 46" wall mount installation. HDMI and Componant Video (1 with Audio and 1 without Audio) as well as an HDMI right angle connector and a Componant Switching Box. Every item I purchased was of the highest quality. The cables are well made with nice thick rubber insulation but flexible enough to fish through walls and cabinets and the end plugs for all of the cables I purchased were heavy duty with gold ends. Exceptional quality. The Video Switching Box works great for my son's Console Game Units (Wii and PS2) that I upgraded to Componant Connections. Its unbelievable how Monoprice is able to sell such Ultra High Quality products at around 1/3 of the cost of the Retail Store Brand Name products. Monoprice RULES!!!!!!!!

Does exactly what it says it does, have it hooked up via RCA interconnects to an XBOX and Wii and no loss of signal over the 25 feet.

The first cable I received didn''t work. Here''s why I give it 10 out of 10. The service from Monoprice is AMAZING!! I got my first cable Friday, no luck as stated, I called Monday, waited about 5 minutes and got a tech, we talked, he didn''t make me feel stupid, rushed - anything!! He sent another cable (same shipping service - which was OVERNIGHT in my case) that blew me away - thought it would be slow boat. PLUS they put the return label for the defective cable in the box. I setup of the new cable and perfect! I see other reviews for the shorted cables and noted people complaining about the length of the audio cables being too long. Let me tell you, my Sony DVD player has them separated so if it wasn''t longer I would''ve been screwed. So IMHO - great job thinking outside the box. Oh yeah! I need the length as well the way my HDTV had the ports setup. Service product quality prices I''ll be back again and again
