Great product at a great price
|
Pros: high quality, low price, and great shipping speed from monoprice.
Cons: none
I have a 4-monitor display connected to my laptop via a toshiba dynadock station. This cable has been working great for over a month. Keep in mind that I live less than 100 miles from the Monoprice headquarters, but my cable was delivered the next day and I was up and running with regular shipping. So far, I have never been disappointed with Monoprice cables and adapters. The selection is limitless, and the shipping is always quick.

Quality cable!

Cons: none
I needed this cable to use the HDMI output on my new Blu-ray player with my DVI only Tosh 57HDX82. The PQ is equal to if not slightly better than the previous DVI cable I was using that cost significantly more than this adapter cable.

HDMI® to DVI Adapter Cable w / Net Jacket

Pros: Clean signal, worked great even in an electrically noisy area so the shielding is very well done. And this cable is sold at a great price.
Cons: Cable is not highly flexible. Not offered with a 90 degree HDMI connector.
Performance is great, price is great, and shielding is done correctly, able to be laid near 120 VAC wires without being compromised.

Great Cable
|
Pros: Inexpensive, good picture quality.
I use this cable to connect my Xbox 360 to a computer monitor. The Xbox can suggest the best resolution since my computer monitor is not a perfect 16x9 ratio. The picture looks great and this cable works as advertised. I'm not sure how the audio sounds with this cable because I use a Turtle Beach surround sound headset that plugs in straight to the Xbox but I would assume it would sound like it should. I ordered two of these cables and gave one to my friend as a gift.

Awesome net jacket sleeve
Highest picture quality I've ever seen from one of these adapter cables
Hardy and solid enough for any application and length
Extremely affordable

The build quality of this product is phenomenal. Just beholding this cable in reality inspires awe. Extra-thick cores and shielding result in one of, if not the best looking image I've ever gotten from a computer's DVI output to a TV. And fantastic quality connectors, too. You can literally see the difference in picture quality when using this cable compared against a thin, flimsy generic cable from a big-box retailer. No noise, even when running parallel to two other similar Monoprice HDMI cables all simultaneously carrying signals, along with over half a dozen power cords leading to active devices in a video/audiophile setup. This Monoprice cable blows Monster out of the water, and only at tiny fraction of the price. Well done.

Nice, heavy cable
|
Pros: Good quality cable product. Suitable for industrial applications.
Cons: The cable is a bit stiff and the user will have to lay it out to allow it to straighten before installation.
I bought this cable to use in a dual monitor setup on my desk for my new laptop. I really like the quality of the cable and connectors. The cable itself is probably heavier than I needed, but it is still a great cable.

This work great, but it's probably overkill for 95% of situations. The thick wrapping means that it takes up a lot of space, looks cluttered behind the TV, and it's unwieldy for plugging into, for example, a laptop.

Cons: Thick shielding makes for a heavy cable. My poor hdmi port!!
I haven't checked the picture quality with this cable yet(i assume its great). Im glad i got an hdmi port saver, because of the added weight from the 'net-shielding'.

Pros: Great quality and sound. Works all the time. These compare the those high cost name brands that seem to do the same thing. Compared to monster cables these seem to show same picture, color and sound. The price is the give away.

Cons: Connectors are a little big for new generation LED TV's.
This is a good cable and does what it should. At this gauge it is a little stiff, so measure your needs as it does not coil well. Everything else is as it should be.

The quality of this cable is outstanding to say the least. It's very sturdy and still very flexible. I use it to connect my HTPC to my television and could not be more pleased with the picture quality. It surpassed my high expectations. Even my girlfriend who thought it was a waste of money admitted afterwards it was worth more than what I paid for it. Thanks again Monoprice!

I was very pleased with the quality of the products I ordered. I found the product descriptions lacking detail and therefore it was difficult to distinguish between the many varieties offered. It is often easier to make do, than to return a 5 or 10 dollar item. A picture or more descriptive info would help a great deal.

I'm not using this for an in-wall, but this cable was the perfect fit for connecting my second monitor using the HDMI port on the video card. I probably should've gotten a 12-ft, but this one works quite well. Thanks MonoPrice, for such a good price on this cable.

Blew away my expectations
|

I wanted the ability to use my LCD TV as a second monitor and/or view Blu-Ray movies from my PC. This is in my office/den
This HDMI DVI cable fit the bill perfectly.
Remember, audio is not carried via DVI, only video. This was not a concern for me, as my computer speakers (Creative audio, 2 satellite speakers and a subwoofer) are fine.

|
I couldn't be more pleased! I have this cable running from the 2nd monitor DVI from an 8800gt to a philips 46" LCD. I have watched multiple movies in full 1080p glory and haven't had a single problem. The price seems too good to be true and the quality is perfect. What a great combo!

This cable is being used for my desktop computer with an HDMI output to my HD monitor with DVI input. Picture looks great, cable quality is very good, thick housing, very good connectors. You cant beat the quality for the price. Cable was received in a matter of days (2 or 3) from west coast to east coast with regular shipping. Thats impressive!!

Great quality cables, with the price of this cable on a retail store I bought 7 cables for my home theather with the same quality of over price ones. Works great on PS3
|
The only monitor I have thats capable of anything close to HD is my Samsung SyncMaster 226BW. Using this cable, the monitor receives and displays a 1080p and 720p (although slightly scaled due to the 169/1610 difference) video signal, with no noticeable problems. I recommend it for the PS3. Its a great value.

I bought this cable for my PS3 since my projection tv only has a DVI input and it works great! I ordered Thursday night and after verifing I do have an extra optical input in my reciever, I called CS early Friday morning to add an optical cable to my order to save on shipping but I was informed that I was too late and my order had already shipped. I was a little disappointed but for what?!? Fast shipping? - lol. My cable arrived Saturday and Ive been recommending this site to everyone I know.
Cable quality is outstanding and better than expected. I figure monoprice saved me over two grand from buying a new tv. Im a customer for life.

I ordered my cable on 06/15/2008 and received it on 06/24/2008. That is only 7 business days to Canada! As this is my very first purchase from monoprice.com, this was a test to see if the product lived up to the hype that I had heard about. I had heard of the site through various forums that I frequent and had decided to see if I could save a little money on my home theatre set-up. As I will soon be in a new home I wanted to see if I could cut the costs of re-wiring my components. When I first opened the package I was very impressed with the quality of the product. The cable is excellent and the performance of the cable is equal to if not better than the Monster cable that it is replacing. The cable has a definate feel of quality that you would not expect at the price point attached. I am very satisfied with the product. I will by using monoprice.com again!

the quality of the connectors is very high, very solid, as is the cable itself which is covered in a nice plastic braid. I''m very pleased with the product. One thing to note the HDMI connector is very thick, make sure you have some wiggle room on your display/reciever.

This cable is awesome. I use it to hook my Macbook Pro up to my sharp LC32D62U 1080p TV. My MBP supports 1080 output through the DVI port and it just looks amazing. Its crystal clear, no pixelation, no sparkles, no nothing. The cable is longer than a similar cable sold on apples website, but its 7 dollars cheaper. And so much less money than a monster cable which is insanely overpriced.
This cable will not disappoint.

Well, I thought the price was too good to be true. Best buy, Microcenter, Compusa, etc., wanted from 99 to 150 US for a 6 foot. Monoprice came through at under 19 US and I can honesltly say they delivered. The cable is functioning as it should, and there were no problems with the order.
Way to go Monoprice, I''ll be back and so will my friends.

This cable is as nice or nicer then any cable I have owned. Great cable and $100 less then a monster one at Circuit City.

Works perfectly. Don''t be suckered by Monster Cable digital cables either work or they don''t work, and if they don''t work, it''s obvious.
