Pros: Quick service, wonderful prices
The laptop computer cord I ordered was inexpensive and arrived within days of my order being placed. Extremely happy with the product and the service. I would definitely use this company again and again.

Does not fit "Super Slim" PS3 well
|
Pros: It basically works
Cons: It is a ridiculously tight fit for a "super slim" PS3 and probably the same for other PS3s that use this type of cable. You can jam the cable in with some force, but then it is hard to get back out. Comparing the cable to the official one, the plug is longer and the shape is kind of close but not exactly the same. I tried sanding it down a bit, but it didn't help much. I don't know if the problem is the external shape, or if the holes for the pins are too small. Maybe both?
It does work with effort, but had I the opportunity to do it over again I would spend extra for an official power cable that fits properly.

Just as good a replacement as the official cord
|
Pros: Works just as advertised
Cons: It doesn't fit the AC adapter perfectly, but neither does the first-party replacement cord.
Delivers power reliably.

Know what you are reviewing before you give it a low rating

To the reviewer Mike from Lodi, CA, who gave this a 7-star rating because he thought C-7/1-15P meant it would be a 7-amp cable...
If you had read the description, this is clearly described as a 2.5-amp cable. C-7/1-15P has absolutely NOTHING to do with the amp rating. C-7 and 1-15P describe the type of connector on each end of the cable. C-7 is the "figure 8" end, and 1-15P is the two-pronged plug for US outlets.
So essentially you knocked 3-stars off the rating of this cable because A) you failed to read the description and B) you didn't know the meaning of the terminology used, and made incorrect assumptions. So annoying.

Works great on my PS3
|
Pros: No issues. Does what it is supposed to do
I use this for my PS3 and have very minimal usage as it is in the bedroom so I can move my PS3 easily without having to unplug cables. Have yet to have an issue :D

|
Amongst other things, this works as a replacement power cord for a "slim" PS3. Also good for a variety of other electronics.

Great PS3 Replacement Power Cord
|
I bought this cord to have an extra power and HDMI hookup to my secondary TV for my PS3. Works great, super cheap and delivered fast.

Only rated at 2.5A, not 7 Amps
|
Pros: Monoprice - The best!
Cons: This cord is only rated at 2.5 Amps.
I was expecting it to be a 7 Amp cord based on the "C-7" designation. The cord I am replacing is a 7 Amp cord designated as "C-7". Alas when it arrived, it is labeled for only 2.5 Amps. I think will will still be fine for the application I need it for, so I'm OK.
