25' Stereo Cable
|
I bought this cable to plug between my cell phone and stereo. I use the stereo as a amplified speaker phone. The cable works great, but if I was to purchase another cable to do the same thing, I would get a smaller gauge cable. This is not a con for the cable, just a thought.

Pros: Unbelievable quality for the price.
Cons: no cons.
Extremely thick wires, and still really flexible.
each left and right channel is shielded seperatly. The construction is top notch, this cable can clearly take a beating.
I am running standard stereo audio from my PC straight into my Samsung LCD tv, and the sound quality is flawless.

Another superb Monoprice cable
|
Pros: Excellent audio quality Great price Both channels are separately shielded
Cons: Separate shielding adds bulk, but it's needed for super low crosstalk
This is an excellent, if bulky, cable. That said, it's very flexible for it's bulk so it's easy to use and lays nice and flat if run around the perimeter of a room, etc. Great product.

Works GREAT!
|
Pros: -Excellent sound quality -THICK -Well made -Dirt cheap
Cons: none
I am using this to run through the wall in my master bedroom to hook up my wife's netbook to the TV. The sound quality is great. I barely need to turn the volume louder than if watching OTA shows, so the TV volume stays at 1 or 2 so its quiet enough to fall asleep until the TV turns off. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Perfect Cable
|
Pros: Heavy duty, solidly built, very flexible for its size.
Cons: Couldn't find any.
This is a fantastic cable, I read other reviews saying this isn't the most flexible of cables, well it's not but for it's size and heft, it's incredibly flexible. If you're needing a high quality 3.5mm cable, this is the cable for you.

I am very happy with this cable. It's 25 feet of 1/8" stereo, with male on both ends. I actually meant to buy the one with male on one end and female on the other end, but I was able to rectify that by using a cable with the reverse connector on one end (as I am changing one end to RCA male anyway). The cable is very thick and is actually 2 cables hooked together - one for each channel - which I have never seen before in this type of cable (basically headphone extension cable). Very impressive! I am using it right now and it sounds great! I used to get interference with my old, rather cheap, cable - so this is really an improvement!
I received the order quickly and have used Monoprice for several orders now. They come through every time! Great work and I'm sure I'll be back!

Too thick for laptop
|
The cord worked perfectly, but because the wire is so thick and unflexible it would put pressure on my laptop input and that would cut the sound out. To remedy I would have to make sure the cord was being fed in straight and not at an angle. Would recommend a cord with more flexibility, like that of a normal headphones cord.

Too wide for close connections
|
I have no issue with the cable quality, but the heads of the cables are too thick to connect to audio cards or to computer speaker set ups. This makes them essentially worthless for that purpose. Also there is no quick easy remedy like a short 6 inch male to female connector. I wish there had been this review when I bought them.

Possibly a worthwhile review.
|
I don't usually write reviews, unless it's absolutely amazing or a hunk-o-junk. But Monoprice emailed, asking for me to share my thoughts to better serve them in servicing their clients us. And frankly I liked the way they formated said email request, by not sounding like a cheesy marketing PR rep, like so many other on-line retailers do (ahem.... I'm glancing over in your direction, Amazon). I'm going to preface first that you read this review in its entirety. Don't immediately generalize me into the brainwashed Monster Cable community, I'm not that guy. One purchasing mistake shouldn't exclude me from the Audiophile Club. I bought this cable for a few reasons. One being length, two being price and three being the impression of quality. None of these things are lacking. However............. I have a (once) unique 2.1 system from Jamo that exceeds what normally one would expect from such a unit. When first released, it won awards for aesthetic appearance as well as its unmatched clarity in the 2.1 class. Initial retail was an equivalent to $700, being only available in the European market, right before Klipsch bought/merged with Jamo. Not sure exactly what the price came down to once sold globally, and on the market for awhile. Connectivity of this product really deserved to have optical, but would've probably put it outside the marketable price of a 2.1 design. Oh well. I'm including an Amazon link to the Jamo i300, simply because I think it gives the best overall description, both by Amazon and by all the reviews from people who've purchased it.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Jamo-i300B-Speaker-System-Black/dp/B000GI83OQ
Anyway, I purchased a high-end 7ft cable by M.C. and was immediately impressed that an aux input could transfer the quality I was hearing. I swear to you it sounds as good (if not better, depending on what I'm listening to) than my 5.1 Infinity/Denon set-up. Not as loud, but certainly as clear. Long story short(ened), I needed a longer cable after moving to a new place, and no way was I going to give M.C. one cent more (or for that matter Best Buy, who whores for M.C bunch of thugs with horrible and dishonorable business practices). A friend told me about Monoprice (also read some good blurbs about them during a Woot-Off), so I bought my new cable from them. Build quality is fantastic, price is totally unbeatable, but I do have to say, the sound isn't as crisp. The fact is though, I doubt any like cable over fifteen ft. and under $100 will sound completely clear and sharp. I'm absolutely fine with the ever-so-slight background noise when at high volume, cause now I'm able to have 25ft of hidden cable.
And now you know why I really don't write reviews because I'm long-winded, and also a writer. Sorry. But thanks for giving up some of your time to read this, hope it's been helpful.

Incredible wire
|
This wire is incredibly good. I love it. It's nice thick wire and I haven't had a single problem with it. Quite frankly, I don't ever see this wire burning out on me. It's fantastic and was a great surprise because I honestly didn't think I was ordering wire of this caliber. You won't be disappointed.

thick!
|
This cable is thick! It is similar to another product sold here, [DVI Male Digital/DVI Male Digital Dual Link CL2 (24AWG) Cable - 25FT (Gold Plated/Black)]. It is not flimsy like regular stereo cable, so you want to keep that in mind. Because of the thickness, there can be some issues with fitting things in the right places. I suppose you could always use your original cable and get a female/female coupler if things don't fit like they used to.

I can echo what has been previously shared. It's a very thick solidly built cable. For its thickness it still lays reasonably easily. The sound has definitely improved over a thinner cable. Very quick shipping. A+ as usual from monoprice.com.

Very thick cable
|
This does work perfectly. Didn't realize it would be so heavy. MP does sell lighter scale cable, but reviews for that are mixed since some people have feedback and noise problems with them. I have had no problems w. the short length light weight cables - 6-10 ft. I thought I was ordering the same light weight type cable in a longer length, I am keeping it.

25ft of cable
|
I was very surprised at the quality of this cable. I can't believe the price...and I got 25ft of it, which is more than long enough to do what I need. But the cable is super thick and heavy duty stuff.....gold plated....lifetime warranty. Why buy your cable anywhere else?? This is my first time buying something from Monoprice, and I'm kicking myself at all the money I have spent on adapters and cables over the years, when Monoprice has better quality for the cheapest price!

Wow... When I ordered this, I did not realize how huge these cables would be. This is some serious cable that separates the left and right channel for absolutely no chance of interference between the lines.
this cable means business as its practically 5x the size (width) of your radio shack / bestbuy 3.5mm stereo to 3.5mm stereo cable

Helped avoid interference
|
I bought this cable to connet the antenna to the control base of an RF remote control system. I needed it in hopes it would eliminate some RF interference I was getting. It worked perfect. Much better than the cheaper cable I was using before. This is a thick cable, but that's what I would have expected. Very pleased with the product.
