With the Monoprice 3D Creator you can watch your 2D programs in 3D on your 3DTV, 3D DLP projector, or even on your 2D HDTV! 3D Creator features real-time hardware conversion of 2D content into 3D signals, which allows you to enjoy 3D effects, while watching ordinary 2D programs.

When used with an ordinary 2D HDTV, you can enjoy red/cyan 3D effects, regardless of whether the source material is 2D or 3D. Some 3DTVs do not provide 2D to 3D conversion functionality, but by using 3D Creator, you can instantly convert your 2D videos into 3D in real time. 3D-ready DLP projectors are becoming popular for the home A/V entertainment market, but the 3D functionality often goes unused. With 3D Creator, you can easily watch 3D effects on your 3D-ready DLP projector.

The unit includes a remote control (with battery), allowing you to control all aspects of the converter's settings. You can set the unit to perform video pass-through, allowing you to watch the original video without conversion, and can directly select each of the five 3D conversion modes. Additionally, you can power the unit on/off and control the 3D effect level. A pair of comfortable, plastic red/cyan 3D glasses are included. The required 5V DC power adapter is also included.
