    Pros: Heavy duty mounting bracket. Support the weight easily of the TV. Easy to mount other that the weight

    Cons: With the bracket weighing so much, it takes two people to mount

    Exactly what I needed at a reasonable price. Shipped quickly. Just a great place to buy from, I have many times and keep coming back.

    Best Mount I have

    Pros: Price, durability, range of motion

    Cons: Don't use their mounting equipment. I would invest in some better anchoring methods.

    I have now purchased about 5 of these and friends have purchased more. They are extremely sturdy and reliable. I have one at home and others are installed in commercial locations. I love the motion and the ability to swing the tv to the side. Plus you can't beat the price

    Heavy Duty

    This is a great wall mount. It is very heavy and strong. The joints are still (at least with my version) so don't expect to be swinging your 60" TV all over the place. Great price too.

    Good for the price *** ignore instruction manual for lag bolts/screws ***

    Pros: Relatively inexpensive

    Heavy duty

    Comes with all the hardware you need

    Cons: The tilt lock mechanism is hard to access once the TV is mounted.

    Instructions for use of lag bolt/screw are WRONG and incomplete (check http://www.renovation-headquarters.com/lag-bolt-pilot-hole.html and http://www.kaiserstructural.com/how-to-properly-install-a-lag-bolt-lag-screw/)

    I have bought computer monitor stands from Monoprice in the past. I have always been impressed with how sturdy they are and their relatively low prices. I'm willing to put up with fewer bells and whistles for value.

    My family finally got another TV after eight year and wanted to re-use our eight year old TV in another room that requires a high wall mount. I wanted flexibility and so I wanted a motion mount. The cheapest ones I found that would hold the weight and give that functionality were at least a hundred dollars at Sam's or Costco. These mounts were half that and rated for MORE than enough weight.

    I ordered two (one for old TV, one for new TV) and they arrived promptly and were HEAVY themselves. Everything was well packaged. I read the instructions and then re-read the reviews on the Monoprice site. I saw complaints about the lag bolts repeatedly and had recently done a DIY project where I'd sheared the head off of a lag bolt. I went out and googled around and found these links:

    * http://www.renovation-headquarters.com/lag-bolt-pilot-hole.html

    * http://www.kaiserstructural.com/how-to-properly-install-a-lag-bolt-lag-screw/

    Basically the pilot hole they recommend is TOO SMALL and does not tell you to also drill a wider hole INSIDE the same hold for the shank (the straight non-screw part of the lag bolt). The included lag bolts are 8mm, which is a 5/16", which should have a 15/64" pilot hold and a 5/16" shank hole. Also put something onto the screw part to help it slide into the wood easier. Some people say soap but apparently that can rust the screw, and I don't keep beeswax laying around so I just soaked a paper towel with vegetable oil and squeezed it around the screw threads and wound it in and out a couple times.

    Also, be sure to use the actual frame to mark out where to drill. I tried to do a measurement myself and it was off just enough that I had to drill a second set of holes (sigh).

    Also, get help, because this thing is HEAVY and there's too much going on to do it yourself, during the installation and the mounting of the TV itself.

    I created a photo gallery of the project: http://imgur.com/a/Y50kK

    It's only been up a couple days but so far I'm pleased with it. I'll be doing the other TV in a few weeks.
