30-inch IPS LED Backlit WQXGA (2560x1600) Monitor with Matte Anti-Glare Finish

Treat your eyes to a big, bright, and beautiful display with this 30" IPS LED Backlit LCD Monitor from Monoprice!

We've upgraded our 30" monitor with an improved 16:10 2560x1600 resolution LG display panel, which features LED backlighting and a brightness of up to 350 cd/m². The LED backlighting ensures that the display produces its full brightness and accurate colors from the moment it is powered on, so you don't have to wait for the perfect display.

This monitor offers a full range of connectivity options, including Dual Link DVI-D, VGA, HDMI, and DisplayPort. This ensures that you can connect this monitor to any Windows, Mac®, or Linux PC, as well as to modern consumer video equipment with HDMI output, such as Blu-ray players and satellite receivers. While the monitor does not include built-in speakers, it does have audio input and output jacks (3.5mm TRS) and the monitor's volume control buttons will adjust the volume level on the output jack.

The inlcuded monitor stand features the ability to be adjusted in 4 dimensions; you can pan the monitor from side to side, tilt it up or down, raise it up or down, and rotate it between landscape and portrait orientation. If you prefer to maximize the real estate on your desk, you can remove the stand and mount the monitor to a desk or wall mount. The monitor includes both 100x100 (for compatibility) and 200x100 (for stability) VESA mounting patterns, so it will fit most desk and wall mounts.

Terrible Monitor, near constant flickering and image loss

Pros: When working, the monitor is beautiful.

Cons: Monitor goes on flickering spells and blanks for a second at a time while in use.

I've had this monitor for well over half a year now. The first monitor I received flickered and would pause on a blank black screen (maybe ~1 sec intervals) before the image came back. I tried multiple DP and HDMI cables to no success and verified my video card specs were good for 2560x1600 @ 60 Hz. I spent $35 sending it back to Monoprice for a replacement. While customer service was quite adequate, the replacement was not and the issue remains the same.

Thank you for your review and I am truly sorry for the inconvenience you've encountered with the item. Have you made sure you had to latest videocard drivers to see if the flickering will disappear? Please let me know, thank you!

Great Monitor

Pros: Works and looks great!
Inexpensive compared to other brands
The big screen size is awesome

Cons: The buttons are located on the back of the monitor, but once I set it up initially i have barely used them since then.

Went for it and bought this nearly 2 years ago. Impressed by Monoprice on how solid a monitor this is for much less than other brands. It has every type of input you could possibly need.
I feel like I got a high quality product at a generic brand price.
Works great. Looks great! Comes with stand that adjusts up and down so you can even rotate this into portrait view if you want.
Love how big this thing is. Great for using with a DAW or a spreadsheet. This screen has a ton of real estate to fit windows in. Highly recommend you take the plunge into higher resolution and a big screen. But you can avoid the higher, bigger price of other popular brands and still get the same quality and functions.
The only reason I didn't put a 10 is the buttons are on the back of the monitor making it awkward to navigate settings like color, brightness, etc and for switching inputs. Fix that and this monitor is perfect.

Great monitor

Pros: These are great monitors. Over the past ~2years, I have bought three from Monoprice. They now all stand abreast on my desk. (I really like screen real estate.)

I have not noticed any pixel problems, but am not sure I have an eye for them.

Cons: The stands are wobbly, but I rarely notice that as I dont move them much.

More importantly, each time I bought a new one, the setup is not so easy. But, this might have been an issue with my computer.

I love these monitors.

My main issue was not clearly a monitor issue, but might have been related with the computer. Most recently when I bought a 3rd of these, it took about 40 minutes to have my computer to drive all three using one each of DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI. (For some reason, I could not seem to use two DVI connections from computer to monitors. I realize this could have been an issue with my computer, but the controls on the monitor/s would indicate (for example) DVI, but not show the DVI that was plugged into it. I could swap them around and see that it was not an issue with the monitor displaying it, but the control and light seemed to indicate that it was receiving a DVI signal, but nothing showed on the screen.)

Maybe it is not the fault of the monitors, but this was more of a chore than I expected for the 2nd and 3rd monitors. My computer/graphics card (GeForce GTX 760) is supposed to be able to drive four of these 2650x1600 monitors w/o a problem.

Not, I do not use these for gaming, but for web access and programming.

Extremely disappointed

Pros: Clean view when working.

Cons: Vertical lines, really bad default color calibration.

First one that was shipped to me showed a vertical line in the middle of the screen, went away for a week, and then two more vertical lines showed up a week later. The RMA process was pretty simple and Monoprice was pretty good and sending me another one.

After hooking up the replacement, I can now see really bad color calibration. The first monitor did not have this problem. I tried all sorts of color calibration methods and the colors were still really bad. Going to request a full refund.

Hello James,

Thank you for your review and sorry to hear the replacement monitor had issues. May I ask if you use a different input does the color issue still occur? Also, if you use a different cable does it still occur?

Would you mind sending a photo of the way the colors are showing as well? You can send it to

Sorry, already packaged the monitor back into the box. I was using the cable that came with the monitor.

by Monoprice Administrator
Hello James,

Sorry for the delayed response. It could have possibly been a bad cable. I see that an RMA has been set up on the monitor. Sorry to hear the monitor did not work out for you. If you have further questions or concerns, feel free to contact us!
