270° 10-Watt (60W Equivalent) A 19 LED Bulb, 810 Lumens, Cool/ Daylight (6000K) - Non-Dimmable (6-Pack)
Get a longer lasting, safe, and affordable alternative to incandescent or CFL light bulbs using this 6-Pack of 10-watt A19 LED Bulbs from Monoprice!
This LED bulb uses only 10 watts of power, but produces 810 lumens of light energy at 6000K, equivalent to a standard 60-watt incandescent bulb. It uses the E26 "medium" Edison screw base, which is the standard home screw-in bulb type we're all used to. This indoor bulb is 2.4" in diameter and 5.1" tall and has an 85 ~ 265 VAC operating range.
The bulb features a shatter resistant polycarbonate lens, which is designed to withstand ordinary drops and falls, and a 100% aluminum heat sink. It uses the superior Epistar diodes, is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use before failure, and carries a three year replacement warranty.
The bulb generates light in the 6000K range (Color Rendering Index greater than 80) with an impressive beam angle of 270°, which is a cool, bluish light that is perfect for high-visibility illumination needs, such as in a workshop or bathroom. This bulb is not designed to be dimmable. While it may be physically dimmed in some light fixtures, doing so can damage the bulb's internal circuitry and severely reduce its expected life span.
Each order includes six, individually packaged bulbs.
Monoprice warrants these bulbs for a full THREE (3) YEARS and will provide a new replacement for any bulbs that fail due to defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period.
I didn't keep track of which order these came from, but I did track in-service dates. The oldest one was installed on 7/19/15, just over a year ago. It has been dead for several days..
The newest was installed on 5/24/16. It too was dead for several days. It lasted less than two months.
I like the bright white light, but they just don't last.
PROS: Bright whit light.
CONS: They don't last very long.
PROS: Sturdy (they seem shatter proof)
CONS: Not really a con so much as "as designed," but the blue light is definitely noticeable when next to the more yellow CFLs. Take note and make sure you order the correct temperature for your room, avoid mixing color temperatures.
PROS: Very good light bulbs. No defects
PROS: Cheap compared to similar brand name LED's, Very bright and cool light temp.
Time will tell how long they last. I date mark every one before I install them so if it burns out, I know exactly how long it has been in there. Most CFL last 3 years if they make the first week.
PROS: Bright white, good coverage and matches the color temp of the CFL around it.
CONS: Slight delay when powering on, minor actually, can get warm but not enough to consider them a burn hazard.
PROS: Great color
CONS: Slight delay in switching on
PROS: - Low energy use compared to both incandescent and CFL bulbs.
- Extremely bright with an excellent cool blue glow.
- Well designed to dissipate heat.
- Not excessively bulgy or awkwardly sized.
- Very reasonably priced for LED light bulbs, the best price I found for the given lumens.
PROS: Brilliant light. I had bought two LED's from Home Depot a few months ago for about the same price of 6 here at Monoprice. I was sold immediately. Monoprice just upped the game with the 6 pack deal. I had previously been 100% CFL. Now I will be 100% LED thanks to the prices here at Monoprice.
CONS: It's really not a con because MOST CFL and LED won't fit in older ceiling fixtures and globes. Hey, for the price I'm paying buying new globes will still be offset by the cost savings that LED provide.
PROS: the price is great and the fastest ship on the planet. this is my second purchase of the 60 watt and added 2 75 watt to try for my wall art
