MHD Sport 2.0 Wi-Fi® Action Camera
One day you're at 5000 feet, skiing down a black diamond trail, and the next you're 100 feet below the waves, surrounded by sea life. When you live an active life it is easy for everything to blur together. Keep your memories sharply in focus by recording your activities with this MHD Sport 2.0 Wi-Fi® Action Camera from Monoprice!
This compact camera is designed for the active sports enthusiast. When properly enclosed in the included waterproof case, it is waterproof to depths up to 196 feet (60 meters) for up to 60 minutes duration. It features a Wi-Fi connection, which allows you to view and record videos and photos on your Android™ or iOS® smartphone.
This camera is identical to the PID 12570 Sport 2.0 Wi-Fi Camera with RF Wrist Remote. The remote allows you to control and view the live feed from up to six cameras. This model, without the RF Wrist Remote, can be added to a multi-camera operation, so you don't have to pay for redundant remotes.
This camera allows you to capture full HD 1080p video at 60 fps, 720p video at 120 fps, and WVGA (848x480) video at 240 fps. It can also be used to take still images up to 16 megapixels in size. In addition to video recording it is a 16 megapixel digital camera with the ability to take individual still shots, take a burst of 7 shots in rapid succession, or continuously taking single shots at intervals from 1 ~ 60 seconds for classic time-lapse videos.
The camera comes with a variety of mounting accessories, which allow you to mount it to a flat surface, a curved surface, or strapped to a fixed point. Additional accessories, including chest and head mounting straps, are sold separately.

I will likely buy another all by itself for the $59.00 price just for a second angle camera.
PROS: HD looks great
Varius modes of HD allow different degrees of view (no zoom so this is helpful)
Remote watch will control several cameras (only one hour though).
CONS: Batteries get really hot. I use to record indoors for up to and hour at a time (batteries don't last much longer than 1 hour).
Will not work when plugged in to charge. Would be WAY better if off board power could be supplied to the camera so you could record as long as needed.
WiFi range on my camera isn't great. I have been sitting under the camera when it was mounted on a light stand and not been able to connect to it....only 5 feet away. This problem is intermittent.
No camera battery level on IOS (or other?) app. Would be good to see when the battery is dying when camera is mounted high. Remote watch (if you got that package) battery only lasts about one hour between charges.
The "ActionCam!" app that allows remote viewing on an Android device is out of date and not compatible with current versions of the Android software. While the app doesn't appear to be created by Monoprice, it is listed in the manual as the app to use. This is not a make or break feature, but would be nice to have. I hope the app will be updated soon, or an alternative app is made available.
PROS: Easy to use, good battery life, great video quality.
CONS: Wireless viewing app not compatible with Android 5.0.
The camera also recorded my narration while videoing. The road noise was unavoidably noticeable though my voice spoken at only a little louder than normal conversation was easily heard.
Between video clips I turned the camera off to preserve the battery. Sometimes the road noise in the car and traffic noise prevented me from hearing the "Off" audio signal the camera emits when it goes off when pressing the On/Off button for about 5 seconds. There are audio settings in this camera, I suggest one more that is louder.
So far I am extremely happy with this camera and look forward to using more of its wide array of video/photo capturing options.
PROS: Good videos
Vast array of optional video/photo captures
CONS: Would like a louder internal sound effect
PROS: At least there are alternative apps.
CONS: Hard to find a working phone app on the android side.
PROS: Takes really sharp pictures
Takes good video as well
Price is much better that a comparable GoPro
iPad App works pretty well
CONS: App still doesn't work with Android 5.0
Tiny display can be difficult to read underwater if your mask has started to fog up.
One video I shot appears to have skipped frames. Plays faster than it should and jumps from one scene to another.
PROS: Nice camera with lots of features. Works well with downloadable app.
CONS: Manual is poorly written and too small.
PROS: Decent image quality, pretty good mic quality, good construction, lots of features
CONS: Video quality could be better
PROS: Small and light.
Compatible with GoPro mounts (with adapter).
CONS: None yet.
PROS: $ price can't beat the price cheaper than getting and developing a few disposables. Great for kids
CONS: does not mate with GoPro stuff perfectly. wish I could get a flip down macro or red filter for diving
wish there was more on how when to change the moisture packs..
PROS: Small form factor. Easy to use (if you've used action cameras before", video clear at 1080- 60fps.
CONS: Not yet compatible with Android 5.0, but its in the works
