Effortlessly keep your camera steady and stable with this Aluminum Tripod from Monoprice!

This tripod is constructed of aviation-grade aluminum, which is only slightly heavier than carbon fiber, but at a considerable savings in cost. It weighs only 44.1 oz., can accommodate up to 22 lbs. weight capacity, and when folded for storage, measures only 13.1" long. It features a 3/8"x16 screw mount for attaching a camera head (not included). A zippered nylon carrying/storage bag is also included.

Great if the locks didn't wear out so soon
I've had this for a little over 3 months. Construction is great. It feels solid, all the tubes smoothly operate, and it's great for throwing in my Camelback while camping, hiking, travel, etc. However, the locks, especially the ones on the center tube just wear our way too soon and I'm finding it taking a lot of effort just to keep them from spinning or dropping. I'd love the tripod if the locks worked.

    PROS: light
    small
    solid build
    very adjustable

CONS: locks wear out too easily rendering it almost useless
