Stand for Cymbal
This cymbal floor stand features a 1" diameter main vertical tube for superior strength and durability. The three-leg base measures about 27" between feet and locks into place with a wing nut. The stand includes two 1/4" thick felt rings between which the cymbal is suspended. The stand features three concentric vertical poles, which allows the cymbals to be mounted between about 34" ~ 62". The cymbal mount is angle adjustable and features a tooth-locking system to prevent slippage.
PROS: Strong and well built.
PROS: Incredibly sturdy. Light weight. Multiple Level Adjustments.
PROS: Solid construction
PROS: Lightweight and inexpensive. Look nice. Perfect for a stationary kit.
CONS: Thin materials used would not use for a gigging kit.
If you are thinking heavy duty as in Pearl 900 series, DW, Yamaha, heavier Tama stuff, you'll be disappointed.
I was using single braced older Yamaha hardware to gig with because I didn't want a 200 pound hardware bag.
I will be replacing some of that hardware with these double braced stands from Monoprice.
Time will tell, but at first glance, I'm content.
PROS: lightweight, compact. Nice for gigging.
CONS: Not truly a Heavy duty stand.
