Pros: Light feel good for jazz, great pricepoint.

Cons: Easy to break if playing heavy, finish is somewhat slippery.

They are very light sticks, and they certainly aren't the greatest in overall feel, but for bang-around sticks to have around the studio or for practice, they can't be beat for the the price. At $3 a pop, I would suggest throwing a couple pairs in any time you place a Monoprice order.

For the price actually a good quality hickory stick suitable for practicing, etc. Solid feel, weight and construction. They don't splinter at the tip and/or neck like so many budget sticks. I'm looking at you China.

10/10 for Monoprice speed and service. Points off on the stick itself only because they seem heavily lacquered and I prefer a more natural finish.

Pros: I'm pretty sure these are about 5A sticks, they are light, but produce a nice sound, i bought 10 pairs, or which so far they haven't been to warped which surprised me. they are great for a jazz sound and light playing, see cons on why

Cons: Broke a stick in about 35 seconds playing a little heavier than normal. granted i was testing the sticks out, and i figured one would break with the heavy playing, i needed to know what i was in for.

Overall these are great great sticks for the price. i mean really 2$ for a pair of sticks is great.

Pros: Cheap. Good quality, Sounds great.

Cons: Feels like a rock band drum stick at first.

I own a recording studio and wanted to have sticks that people could break without me caring too much about it. I'm not playing the drums so if they want to play with better sticks they can bring them. They actually sound really good. We test a few different sticks out on a kit before actually recording to get the best sound and sometimes these win. One of my studio drummer asked how much they were and after I told him the price he said "buy more"
