    Classic Guitar Stand

Don't let your guitar go unprotected. Keep it upright and safe from scratches and dings with this Classic Guitar Stand from Monoprice.

This simple three-piece design can be assembled in minutes, yet provides a stable base for holding any guitar or bass guitar. The aluminum tubing is covered in a soft rubber foam to protect the finish of your guitar, while a rubber strap across the neck support ensures that your guitar won't fall out of the stand.

The stand is height adjustable from about 25" ~ 29" at the neck support. The base has a 20.5" span, which gives it rock solid stability, even on carpet.

Note that the rubber tubing will interact with the chemicals in a nitrocellulose finish and can ruin the finish where it comes in contact with the rubber. Never allow a guitar with a nitrocellulose finish to come into contact with rubber tubing.

    • Adjustable Height: Ranges from 25" to 29"
    • Base Width: 20.5"

    Great stand and well designed
This stand is actually perfect and makes my $50 stands seem way overpriced. In the defense of my professional stands, they could be abused and not suffer and real wear. These are very thin metal tubing and are for displaying your guitar and not for travel. I wouldn't want to fold the legs often or travel with them. Outside of that these have a great design and well thought out features such as the restraint strap and short leg in the back. They won't scratch your guitar or floor as the legs have rubber ends and the guitar cradle is padded.

    PROS: Holds Electrics or Acoustics
Rear leg is short so allows for close to wall placement
    Could be wall mounted
Strap prevents guitars from accidental fall

    CONS: Really simple tubing
    Assembly required
    Not heavy duty

Nice stand for a few bucks
Well worth the few bucks spent to keep your guitars off the floor, or stuck in a corner and resting on padded points of contact. Very nice, well finished and solid construction. Typical Monoprice stuff here.

PROS: Nice stand, has a neck safety latch and holds everything from electric to acoustic well. The neck portion is adjustable up and down, I can see this being handy for holding a longer bass guitar.

CONS: Very minor, The base that sits under the guitar, slides into the main shaft and can pivot around, has never been a issue but seems kind of odd. I would think since it is keyed already for instillation a key could be added to limit its range of tilt.. But like I said it has never become a issue. However this design could come in handy for odd shaped guitars like flying V's or others that have irregular shapes.

    Great guitar stand
Great product. Minimalist design with functionality and it arrived in a matter of days. Don't forget the price is unbeatable as well. No issues with the product. Thanks mono price.

Solid Stand at a great Price
Some minor assembly required, and it took a little effort to extend the legs properly, but once the legs were fully extended, this stand works as well as my other cheap (triple the price) stand. As many others have stated, the assembly that holds the guitar body spins freely, so be careful to place the instrument correctly.

    PROS: Solid Construction, Great price

    Amazing for the price
I unfortunately have paid more for lesser quality stands. These are fantastic.

PROS: Great stand at an amazing price

    CONS: None!

    Guitar Stand
On the whole, a good stand. An excellent value for the overall product.

PROS: Sturdy, powder coated, foamy rests for the neck and body. Adjustable and nice appearance. Much more stout in use than appears out of the package.

CONS: Out of the box the unit appeared to be a bit flimsy, especially if you're going to be supporting an expensive instrument.

    Not too shabby
    It's cheap and it works.

The tubing is light, the foam a bit cheap, and the rivets a bit too simple. It will probably wear easily and badly under strong pressure or repeated rough (dis)assemblies so it won't stand up to crazy abuse.

However, it stands firm, holds a variety of guitars, and is cheap. If that's what you need, buy it.

    PROS: - it works!
    - short back leg for close to wall placement
    - sturdy rubber strap locking neck rest
    - adjustable
    - relatively sturdy
    - simple assembly
    - inexpensive

CONS: - a bit on the light side
    - ain't for giggin'

    Good Value
For the money you can't beat it. Despite these cons the service of Monoprice can't be beat. What I did like is that the back of the neck support are had a groove to keep the arm from spinning left or to the right like other stands I have.

    PROS: Inexpensive.

    Ease to set up

CONS: One stand came with scratches and another one with some rust stains and another missing parts.

I am happy with my purchase of this guitar stand. It is nothing fancy and does what it is intended to do, for a great price.

PROS: A basic guitar stand for a great price. The stand is very light weight and easy to put together. It also has foam padding on both ends where the guitar rests.

    CONS: None
