Delay Mini Pedal
Add delay to your pedal board with this Delay Mini Pedal from Monoprice!
This mini pedal produces a warm, vintage delay sound, similar to analog delays. It features an adjustable delay time from 25ms to 600ms. The echo knob allows you to control the depth of the delay effect, while the feedback knob allows you to adjust the number of times the delayed sound is repeated. The pedal features true bypass, so it won't alter your tone when not actively in use.
The casing is metal for long term durability. It is powered using a 9VDC power adapter with a negative tip/center, such as our 9V Power Supply for Guitar Pedals (PID 611690).
|Delay Time||25ms - 600ms|
|Input||1/4" monaural TS jack (impedance: 470k ohms)|
|Output||1/4" monaural TS jack (impedance: 470 ohms)|
|Power Requirement||AC adapter. 9VDC (tip/center negative plug)|
|Dimensions (WDH)||1.8" x 3.7" x 2.0" (46 x 94 x 50 mm)|
PROS: Works well at what it was designed to do at a good price. It's quiet at least through my amps and is a good alternative to much more expensive delay pedals.
CONS: Kinda small, no markings for delay length, but not a big deal for experienced users. It's not battery capable and comes with no ac adapter so must be ordered separately adding another 7 bucks or so. Biggest complaint is I've noticed that the more great reviews Monoprice gets on some musical products the prices seem go up.
PROS: Sounds great. Compact. Cheap.
PROS: Excellent tone, small footprint, easy to use, low cost, excellent quality.....did I mention great tone?
CONS: Not a biggie, but the ability to use a 9 v battery would be nice. Of course, it's the same with all pedals of this size.
PROS: Size is small but the sound and tone is amazing. I really liked it.
PROS: cheap, well made, feature rich
Nothing to complain about. All of the features perform as described. If you want something bigger and more complicated then save up and do it right.
Also, Monoprice is great to work with. Theyre responsive in their customer service, have accurate product descriptions and fair prices for once.
PROS: True By-Pass, Small (doesn't take up any space on a pedal board), Delay is warm and soft which accurately imitates tape, as opposed to a thin, synthetic sound like the Boss DD series.
CONS: Haven't discovered a con yet.
PROS: This I definitely worth the price
The delay pedal is more than you can ask for in its size and If I need to I would buy it again. Well worth the money spent. You'll be glad you bought one.
PROS: Sounds like it cost twice as much.
Stands up side by side with high dollar delays like the Memory Toy
Same size as the EHX Headphone Amp
CONS: No 9 volt battery compartment.
PROS: Analogue Vibe, Accurate , Musical ,Small Foot Print
CONS: Plastic Know made cheap but easily replaceable.
The two things I don't like about this pedal are the odd input and output jack placements which are off kilter from each other. This makes it hard to line up on the pedal board because the tension from the cables seems to "lift" the pedal up. I also don't like the rubber footing on the base of the pedal - The footing is glued on which makes it difficult to remove. More expensive pedals usually come with an additional rubber piece that fits into the other to make the base flat/flush with the ground or all of the rubber is removable. This is so it is easier to get a flat surface to attach a strip of Velcro to, which makes the pedal stick to the board better. If you don't use a pedal board then it is not an issue, but it is something to consider if you do use one. I give this pedal a solid 8/10. If you're looking for a quick fix for delay, then consider this.
PROS: Cheap, small, true bypass
CONS: Jack placement, rubber base
