    Delay Mini Pedal

Add delay to your pedal board with this Delay Mini Pedal from Monoprice!

This mini pedal produces a warm, vintage delay sound, similar to analog delays. It features an adjustable delay time from 25ms to 600ms. The echo knob allows you to control the depth of the delay effect, while the feedback knob allows you to adjust the number of times the delayed sound is repeated. The pedal features true bypass, so it won't alter your tone when not actively in use.

The casing is metal for long term durability. It is powered using a 9VDC power adapter with a negative tip/center, such as our 9V Power Supply for Guitar Pedals (PID 611690).

Been playing guitar for over 45 yrs and very experienced with types of pedals, etc. All in all, a very good delay pedal for the price. I've seen virtually identical pedals under a different brand name from a different company selling for three times this one. They all come from China but Monoprice hasn't gouged the public like some others. I got lucky on a rare instance when Monoprice had free shipping on a couple of their musical products which made this purchase all the more a tremendous value.

PROS: Works well at what it was designed to do at a good price. It's quiet at least through my amps and is a good alternative to much more expensive delay pedals.

CONS: Kinda small, no markings for delay length, but not a big deal for experienced users. It's not battery capable and comes with no ac adapter so must be ordered separately adding another 7 bucks or so. Biggest complaint is I've noticed that the more great reviews Monoprice gets on some musical products the prices seem go up.

    Small but mighty
This little guy really does sound good. I fly a lot for tours, so I try to get the most portable gear I can, and this fits the bill. It has a very convincing "analog-like" sound, and it can do the self oscillating thing, plus when you move the delay time while a note is sounding, the pitch changes like it would on an analog bucket brigade delay. Cool for a special effect. It's clean, it sounds good - no complaints here! For the price it's a no-brainer. My only request would be a tap tempo control, but at this price point that's dreaming.

    PROS: Sounds great. Compact. Cheap.

    CONS: none

    Mini Delay
I'm an old fart who has been playing and loving all things guitar since a fateful Sunday evening on Feb 9, in 1964. Watching George coax those killer tones out of his Gretsch put a spell on me that is great than ever some 50 years later. I no longer play guitar professionally or gig in a band setting, but I still play everyday. I needed a delay and the specs, size and price of this gem led me to give it a try. Amazing how it can be digital but still have a nice, fat analog warmth to it. For what I need, it's darn near perfect! While I generally do not use many effects when I play, I am looking forward to trying the compressor and a couple of the lower gain overdrives. I am thrilled to find Monoprice! Thank you so much!

PROS: Excellent tone, small footprint, easy to use, low cost, excellent quality.....did I mention great tone?

CONS: Not a biggie, but the ability to use a 9 v battery would be nice. Of course, it's the same with all pedals of this size.

    Monoprice Mini-Delay Pedal
Sounds really good. I've owned several delays and some authentic tape delay rigs and this pedal is on the level with any basic analog delay pedal. Probably closest to the memory toy in comparison.

Nothing to complain about. All of the features perform as described. If you want something bigger and more complicated then save up and do it right.

Also, Monoprice is great to work with. Theyre responsive in their customer service, have accurate product descriptions and fair prices for once.

PROS: True By-Pass, Small (doesn't take up any space on a pedal board), Delay is warm and soft which accurately imitates tape, as opposed to a thin, synthetic sound like the Boss DD series.

    The price!

CONS: Haven't discovered a con yet.

I did a YouTube video of this which doesn't come up with the link so, here it is, if the link below still doesn't work.

    Awesome Delay Pedal
I have a EHX Headphone amp and wanted a delay to use with it and this Mini delay pedal fits the need. There is no place to put a 9 volt battery so I made an external battery supply for this pedal and mounted the small headphone amp and the delay to a small board along with the external 9 volt battery all with Velcro and now I have a nice little headphone setup to use while practicing on my bed or couch.

The delay pedal is more than you can ask for in its size and If I need to I would buy it again. Well worth the money spent. You'll be glad you bought one.

PROS: Sounds like it cost twice as much.

Stands up side by side with high dollar delays like the Memory Toy

Same size as the EHX Headphone Amp

CONS: No 9 volt battery compartment.

    Do not delay buy it
I have purchased this pedal on sale for much less. Mono Price replaced on package lost in the mail in a heartbeat. Do not let the Price deceive you. It is a quite little pedal. Cheap made in china knobs but you can easily replace with quality ones. Love the fact that it is quite. Has this analogue type of vibe very responsive knobs. Love it when the underdog gives more for less.

PROS: Analogue Vibe, Accurate , Musical ,Small Foot Print

CONS: Plastic Know made cheap but easily replaceable.

I bought this because I love delay. This pedal adds a nice delay to my board. I don't use it as my main delay because it only goes up to 600ms (I sometimes need a very long delay) but I like the set this pedal at about the 2:30 position for the feedback knob, then 9:30 for the echo volume knob and then use it during leads. It adds a airy feathery sound when used like this. The quality of sound knocked me away for the price - I expected it to have issues or be very noisy but it really isn't too noisy at all. The stomp switch (at least on mine) seems like it may be the first component on here to fail but those are pretty easy to replace if that happens.

The two things I don't like about this pedal are the odd input and output jack placements which are off kilter from each other. This makes it hard to line up on the pedal board because the tension from the cables seems to "lift" the pedal up. I also don't like the rubber footing on the base of the pedal - The footing is glued on which makes it difficult to remove. More expensive pedals usually come with an additional rubber piece that fits into the other to make the base flat/flush with the ground or all of the rubber is removable. This is so it is easier to get a flat surface to attach a strip of Velcro to, which makes the pedal stick to the board better. If you don't use a pedal board then it is not an issue, but it is something to consider if you do use one. I give this pedal a solid 8/10. If you're looking for a quick fix for delay, then consider this.

    PROS: Cheap, small, true bypass

    CONS: Jack placement, rubber base
