PROS: Price, quality, ampere rating
PROS: Has 3.4A USB charging which is significantly better than the typical 2A units you commonly find. This will charge tablets (i.e., iPads) at a reasonable rate.
CONS: Light is too bright, but not an issue in an office. The unit depth makes it stick out from the wall and this can lead to bumping and ramming with chairs etc.
PROS: Very convenient, works better then expected.
CONS: It has a greenish always on light - do not plan to use visible where you sleep.
PROS: Very attractive and convenient. Easy to install.
CONS: Sticks out from the wall
PROS: Works perfectly. Charges my USB devices fast. (i.e. iPhone, iPad, Note, etc.). This is in my kitchen and doubles as a night light. It is not too bright, but rather think its just fine. Perfect!
CONS: None that I can find so far...
PROS: Add 1 electric outlet & 2 USB outlets to a standard outlet.
CONS: Light wouldn't be welcome in some areas of house.
PROS: Very happy with product. Do NOT find light too bright.
Now three receptacles instead of two, and with one being used previously for USB charging, have actually gained two!
CONS: We have the receptacles that have two screws top and bottom, so can't use screw to tighten, but still works fine
As others have noted, the top of the unit is illuminated whenever it is plugged in. The cutout you see at the top of the unit is one big LED bar. We taped over it with electrical tape and it's no longer an issue for us. The unit does stick out from the wall like any other standard in-outlet power bar. This is not an issue for us but may be an issue for people trying to fit it into a tight space, behind a piece of furniture, etc..
Easy to install
Screws into the outlet
CONS: Bright LED light
Sticks out from the wall
PROS: Nice night light, not too bright.
Attaches securely to outlet.
Full charge rate.
CONS: None so far
CONS: The "protected" light is too bright for a bedroom, it illuminates the entire room
