    Pros: -Easy to set up
-truly amplified, so you get the channels whose broadcasting station is close to you. (use link to check for channels)

Cons: -None for the Antenna (OTA channels are terrible) :)

I have used a few OTA antenna, which are powered/amplified which was terrible and never worked. This one however, just worked. I did not wall mount it or mount it outside my house, it is sitting behind my TV on the wall.

I have a few channels that I receive, but many are duplicates at different frequencies. Some are 1080i, some are 720p, but many are 480i. Too bad I cannot receive NBC, but cannot blame the antenna as I am surrounded by pine trees, which go 80 feet up and my house is only a 2 story building, dwarfed by the trees.

I bought 2 of these, so I plan to mount one of them outside my house.

Use this to get an idea how far away your broadcasting stations are located and in which direction:

    Pros: - Affordable
    - Quick installation
    - Easy to understand instruction manual
    - Quality reception (no static)

    Cons: None. Virtually flawless.

Great quality, much better than what I expected. I have the convenience of living in downtown Toronto, so the reception is crystal clear. The antenna picked up 11 channels with mostly local programming, but the quality of programs were excellent. Overall, it's a great little antenna with a lot to offer at a low price.

HDTV Indoor / Outdoor Antenna, 25 mile range Review

Pros: Works pretty good at 5 miles

Cons: Not so good at 10 miles

I bought this antenna for my son who lives in a second floor apartment about 10 miles from Phoenix South Mountain where the TV signals are transmitted from. I first tried it out at my house which is about 5 miles from South Mountain and is a single story home. Mounting the antenna about 8' from the floor I was able to receive 59 TV stations. My son however can only receive 52 stations and one of the stations he is unable to receive is the local NBC station which is a HI-V signal. However the local FOX station is also a HI-V signal and he receives that just fine. Since he is less than half the distance where this antenna is supposed to work I'm rating it as a 3

    Pros: amplifier

    Cons: everything else

I Live in an urban area. This antenna picked up 1 station! One! I made a fractal antenna that picked up a total of 11 but my wife was unhappy with the pixelation on some channels. I thought this might help after I read the reviews. $20 wasted. This antenna picked up only the most powerful station and did that only after the amplifier was installed. I kept the antenna because the amplifier actually helped my home made fractal antenna. Why waste the time to return it?

This Antenna gets the channels I want

Pros: Small and light, not overly directional

Cons: Can be disable by lightning

For several years now I have lived off the cable grid. At first I tried tentatively to exist without 150 channels, but after a month or two I realized I didn't miss all that confusion. I'm not a great sports nut so I don't need SPN.
With this antenna I can receive all the local channels in superb HD. Guests have remarked on the picture clarity. The amplifier gives just enough boost so I don't need an enormous "thing" up on my roof. At present I have three of these on the roof one for each TV.
My only comment is that the occasional lightning storm will knock out one or after a prolonged period weathering will require replacement. So I have ordered extras
