Full-Motion Wall Mount Bracket (Max 33 lbs, 13 - 27 inch)
Don't leave your flat panel TV on a table or stand where it can be knocked over and damaged, or even worse injure a child or pet. Instead, mount it securely and safely to the wall using this Adjustable Tilting/Swiveling Wall Mount Bracket from Monoprice!
This mount bracket supports adjustments in five dimensions; it can be swiveled ±90°, can be tilted ±60°, and can be rotated a full 360°, so you can easily switch between landscape and portrait orientation. Additionally, the mount can be raised or lowered vertically along the length of the wall plate and can be extended from a minimum distance to the wall of 5.0" to a maximum of 19.2". It also features cable management clips to help keep your installation clean and professional looking.
This bracket is designed to mount an LCD, LED, or Plasma display with a VESA mounting pattern of 75x75 or 100x100, which includes most 13" to 27" displays*. It can be mounted to any type wall (brick, concrete, wood stud, etc.) and can safely hold up to 33 lbs (including the weight of the mount itself). Mounting hardware is included.
* Note that the display screen size is only an approximation. Your display is compatible with this mount as long as it has a VESA mounting pattern and weight that fit within the size and weight limits listed above.

As long as you can find a wall stud (and have a power drill/screwdriver), installation takes about ten to fifteen minutes. I was pleased to find that included in the packaging are the hardware for various mounting situations (e.g. stud and wall materials), so follow the excellent directions for whichever one applies to you and recognize that there will be some extra "parts" left over.
I put mine in our workout room with a 26" LCD and, since it's an articulating mount, its versatility as far as angling goes means that the TV can be made to be viewable from any spot in the room. I was afraid that the ball joint (to which the TV meets the mount and what controls the angle) would be too loose for my relatively heavy LCD and it would constantly angle downwards from the weight. I was wrong screws on the back of the ball joint control how easily the TV can be tilted, and I haven't had any problems whatsoever.
The wall support of the mount has built-in cable organizers that essentially resemble plastic comb-binder things you see in some writing notebooks - I can see how it might be useful, but I opted to zip tie (also ordered from MP) cables to the arm of the mount, and it has worked out well.
Like just about every review I've ever posted here, Monoprice has another winner on its hands - that's why I keep coming back.
CONS: Used to support a 21 inch Sony LED tv weighs about 21 lbs. It bent like a pretzel. Cheap bolts in the hinges seemed to be the blame!
PROS: Great monitor, functioned as advertised and a great look. This unit is significantly cheaper than any I could find at a brick and mortar shop.
CONS: The first unit's clip that holds the stand in the wall mount did not provide enough friction to hold the stand in place. It slipped down to the end stop. Monoprice shipped out a second unit and that plastic clip held like a charm. In fairness my monitor is at the cusp of the higher weight limit of this unit.
They are amazingly well designed - especially for a $20 product.
One thing I really appreciated, is that you attach a plate to the back of your monitor - this plate has a lip on it, so when you go to attach it to the arm, the lip keeps it in place (and holds the weight) while you attach the screws.
The ball joint is adjustable with 3 screws, so that worked pretty well. Overall a really well designed product!
As for the comments about the screws - it does come with 4 really big wood screws - I had started to strip the head on one of them, so I just drilled bigger pilot holes. The second arm I installed was fine since I had used the larger pilot hole.
Read the instructions that come with it - they are very easy to follow.
I was also pleased that it came with 16 screws for the monitor (4 sets of 4 in varying sizes and lengths)
PROS: Value, worked as advertised
CONS: DO NOT USE THE SCREWS THAT CAME WITH IT!
The head on the screws snapped. Buy your own screws
PROS: As with everything else on Monoprice, the price is always the reason to shop here. The build quality is extremely good and I suspect it will hold up fine for a long time.
CONS: One of the joints (the one closest to the monitor) is extremely tight.
Comparable units at Best Buy were in the $100 range.
Came with all the bolts neccessary for just about any mounting scenario.
As some have mentioned in previous reviews: Though I drilled the suggested pilot hole, one of the bolt heads broke off when screwing it into a 2x4. I suspect they need to be made of higher grade steel.
Also, I wish I had used the spacers supplied when I mounted the bracket.
Many of the cables aren't available in right angle. With the TV that close to the wall, the cables don't bend very well.
Be sure to purchase a recessed power receptacle (they used to be called "kitchen clock outlets")
My only issues are:
1. The hardware that was included was not strong enough to hold the bracket up unless you can hit a stud. This was easily fixed with a $1 molly bolt from a hardware store.
2. If you try to adjust the height or angle of the bracket, the lock that holds the arm to the wall plate can come loose and cause the arm to drop suddenly and unexpectedly.
Overall I think this is a great product and I defiantly recommend it.
PROS: Easy to install, flexible, sturdy
CONS: Included hardware is inadequate.
