    Durable mount holds TV securely

For the money, this is probably the best mount I have come across. I mounted my 65" curved TV above my brick fireplace safely and securely using this mount. While it could be a little improved to maybe use notched/grooved screws for adjusting the tension on the articulating arms, once you make the adjustments just right it's a breeze to maneuver the TV up, down, left, right, in, and out. Compared to the Sanus full-motion mount that I was replacing, this mount is much sturdier and easier to manipulate.

    Great Mount

This TV mount is very sturdy and strong. The arms move with ease. Watch for the allen bolts that control the tilt. Once you have it set make sure they are tight and there should be no problem. I had one issue with the install process but no fault of the mount. I placed the mount on a wall that had been stoned. I had the stone installer leave an opening on the bare wall the size of the mounting plate. I needed to use two 2x6's cut to the wall plate size to push the mount out from the wall enough for it to be able to have the arms recessed back flat. If you have any stone or rock that would prevent a full recess of the mount arms you may need to do the same. I spray painted the wood the color of the stone and they can barely be seen from the side. It actually made the mount stronger. Another great product from monoprice.

Godd overall bracket, but has 1 issue that can be annoying

Pros: Fully articulating is a definite plus, and that you can mount it on one stud is also a great feature. Buikld quality for the mount is also good.

Cons: TV swivels up and down on the left and right sides every time you pull the articulating arms out to change the position of the TV.

The only issue I have is the way that they articulating backet attaches to the solid bracket on the TV. If you look at the installation instruction PDF that is on the page, look at Step 6. You will see that there are 2 thumbscrews that have to be tightened that hold the TV to the articulating arm. The top thubscrew is tightened pretty tight, but every time I pull the TV out or swivel the TV, the TV shifts up or down on the left or right side and has to be re-leveled. If would be nice if that could just be set, and when you move the TV you do not have to re-level the TV on the left or right side.

    Pros: Easy to assembly

    Cons: Weight and cheap plastic

This is my first time installing one of the wall. It easy to assemble if you follow the video or the manual instruction.

Quality Soild Single Stud Articulating Mount

Pros: Beautifully engineered and looking mount. Kind of a shame to have it hidden behind the TV it is holding.
    Solid mechanical operation.
    Single stud mounting.

Cons: I do not know about it holding a 100 lbs at full extension, but clearly it is overkill for the thin and light 22 lbs 40" TV I mounted to it.
Length of horizontal mounting rails to accommodate larger TV can obscure backside TV connection ports, but the rails can be easily be shortened with a "hacksaw" if necessary.
Packaging looks great but is not sufficient. The "eggshell" compressed cardboard material that holds the unit inside the box is not adequate. The bottom plastic screw cover was spilt in three pieces because the eggshell cardboard could not hold the unit is place inside the box. There was no signs of damage to the outer box(es), but the box must have manhandled in such a ways that the heavy object inside the box shifted and broke the plastic cover.

Didn't want to chance buying a "cheap" articulating mount that would be difficult to operate and not hold TV in a fixed position. This one does the job well.
