Wrap your New iPad (aka iPad 3) or iPad With Retina Display (aka iPad 4) in style with this Ergo Cover and Stand for iPad 3 from Monoprice!
This case provides double duty, protecting your new iPad from the wear and tear of daily use, and providing a hands-free viewing platform for your multimedia content. The polycarbonate shell gives an extra layer of shock protection, while the blue leatherette exterior provides comfort and style.
The case/stand can prop up your iPad into a near vertical landscape orientation for multimedia content viewing or into a slightly angled, ergonomic typing position. The cover is lined with a soft felt material, which provides a soft cushion of protection for the finish of your new iPad. The cover also features a magnetic latch, which both keeps the cover shut and automatically turns your iPad on when it is opened and off when it is closed.
Note that the iPad Cover Lock / Unlock option is not enabled by default. The option is located by pressing the Home button, then choosing Settings > General. However, the option will not be visible until you actually attach the magnetic cover to the iPad. Alternatively, you can use a small refrigerator magnet to simulate a magnetic cover, thereby allowing the option to become visible.
The cover has cutouts for the connectors, camera lens, and controls. Additionally, the cover is slotted at the top to allow clear access to the 4G antenna area, ensuring that it will not interfere with 4G reception.

PROS: Low price compared to "name brand". Good protection.
CONS: It didn't come with a cookie.
PROS: This cover is exactly what I wanted. I can carry my iPad around without worrying if it will get scratched. This cover is almost a steal! The (insert name brand here) covers are $39 and I think they are just on the top of the iPad. This one covers the top and the bottom, and uses the same magnetic on/off that the name brand ones do. I am so pleased!
PROS: Great quality
Blue color is actually really nice (I originally wanted black)
Cover works well with turning screen on/off when opened
PROS: Great price. Works perfectly.
PROS: Very good quality for a very good price. Excellent value. I purchased over 40 for an iPad rollout. It's not the fanciest, but it protects well, looks good, holds up well over time and has several positions that it will hold the unit.
CONS: Not that I can think of. Some people wanted a slicker, more fashionable case, or maybe one with a keyboard. We gave them something that would protect our investment, and they could shop around for a fancy one if they wanted to.
PROS: I've had this case for about 2 months now and I'm very pleased with it. For me, it's the prefect blend of case and stand - good grip, covers everything, on/off with cover works great, multiple viewing angles for stand.
PROS: Fits the new iPad
Puts it to sleep when closing, wakes when opening
Seems pretty sturdy so far
PROS: I was so pleased with this, that I ordered one for all my relatives with the new iPad 3s. Many of my friends now how one. The quality of construction and the fit cannot be improved. The magnetic cover effectively turns the device on and off. The blue color is tasteful enough for a grown man to use. It is at least the equal of the Apple product and less than half the price.
CONS: It does not fold and support the iPad upright in the same fashion as the Apple folding cover. Instead the iPad partially separates from the back cover (just the lower half) and sits in detents on the back side of the front cover. This may not be immediately obvious to the new user, and a small instruction sheet might help.
