1000W Power Inverter
Get 1000 watts of AC power from your car, RV, or boat using this 1000W Power Inverter from Monoprice!
This power inverter is intended for heavy duty use and features 1000 watts of continuous 115 VAC power from a 12 VDC battery system. It connects to the 12 volt system via direct connection to the battery and produces a modified sine wave with 115 VAC at 60 Hz (±3 Hz) to two NEMA 5-15 power sockets. It features an automatic shutdown circuit, which is triggered by excessive heat (149°F), a load greater than 1000 watts, or abnormal voltage levels from the battery power source.
Note that appliances/devices that contain an electric motor or compressor have an initial power draw about three times their rated continuous power level. Therefore, you should not use devices with a motor or compressor that require more than 333 watts with this power inverter.

PROS: Monoprice is on the right in offering Power Inverters.
CONS: High power pure sine inverter is what I'm looking for...
PROS: MP offers inverters now GOOD.
CONS: No pure sine to be found… Sensitive electronics that make up our everyday life at home, work or the great outdoors require Pure Sine Power. P¨S inverters ranging from 1000 to 3000 watts would be a very welcome addition !!!
